Our EPIC, 15-State, 3,600 Mile, 16 Day Road Trip With a Baby, Part 3

Cleveland was a wonderful stay. On day 3, we drove to our next stop, which was Pittsburgh. Like Cleveland, neither Ali nor I (nor Lincoln) had ever been to Pittsburgh before, and it was different than we expected. The area is very hilly, and the major part of the city is in a valley between two ridges.
After arriving, we went and visited the University of Pittsburgh campus (Ali also applied to Med School there), got some Italian Ice, and then went back to our hotel. Unfortunately the room wasn't ready for more than an hour after it was supposed to be, but that's life, and we salvaged the day by going to one of Pittsburgh's gems, and one of the oldest amusement parks in the country: Kennywood! A lot has changed since the 1989 PBS special, and Linc couldn't go on most of the rides (nor did we), but it was fun nonetheless.
