It looks like Edd was supplied some great Bott products. I'm sure he had a deal to make this commercial/video showcasing these products. Edd China...the most popular mechanic in the world!

Why can't you use the imperial measures as that's what most of us understand, its not as if we are in the EU now !!!!

    • @simon199418

If you want to make money, you have to appeal to the rest of the fucking world in which mechanics use the metric system. If you are in the EU or not (which at the moment btw you are), doesn't change that you share this planet with us...and we are more of you. So climb down your high horse and have a look around, maybe you might learn something.

It's their video and they can use any damn measures they want. You don't like it don't view it. Simple.

Buurga, the majority of the UK are still in imperial measures, we use gallons , pint, and inches, only those coming out of school understand the metric, which will be useless soon, as we will make imperial the only measure to teach in schools.

    • @honesteagle98

Most of the world uses metric measurements when measuring...........Me being in US, we use both systems, but refer to lbs. when describing weights....... Imperial / Inch mark measurements are commonly used when machining parts.....because .001 difference when trying to line up threads that were cut in China (country) since they used metric......makes a big difference..........And........you just received "1,000 product lot" that are all cut the same.......

    • @gordowg1wg145

Because Britain has officially used the metric system since at least the mid SEVENTIES*. Because the metric system has many, MANY advantages in science, engineering, and every other field of study.
The problem is not Edd using it, but your ignorance (just means not knowing something, nothing to be ashamed of, unless one refuses to learn) - something you should remedy ASAP.
      * yes, even before entering the EU/EEC.

All you need is a hammer, an adjustable spanner and a jack. I you can't fix a car with that, you're not a real man.

Ever thought that a equiping a full workshop is shockingly expensive (esp' down here :-( ) and this allows him to do a better job?
Ever thought that some people aren't aware of what is available for the home mechanic/handyman and this gives them some idea? I particularly like the idea of custom designed/bespoke storage, as many companies just give an option from a limited range of standard units.
Heck, no reason for you, or anyone else, to buy from this company, comes to that - you could even make a point of buying from their opposition ( I initially thought it would be Beta, comes to that ;-) ) Considering what some companies charge for their products (Snap-on, anyone??? ), this may even work out significantly cheaper.
