Did you have to get a new bolt for the mag conversion? I remember hearing from somewhere that the bolt is designed to feed from only one side of the magazine on the SL8.
I have other videos. First I would gather the parts. The hard one was the bolt on stock. Once you see it in stock you order it asap. After you get the parts you can send it to Tommy built for the mag conversion.
I’d say it’s 100% reliable feeding and ejecting if that’s what you’re asking. I’ve spent about 650 rounds through it and I haven’t had any issue. I’d honestly say it’s a must
@@TreyYazzie could you do a breakdown of what the conversion services cost? im about to send my sl8 to get converted but naturally im trying to see what other conversions ended up costing labor wise. i may do the barrel conversion but im on the fence about it.

Yes I had Tommy add that bolt to the bill and he installed it.

When you got your SL8, did it come with the HK rifle bag or just a box?
If you got the psa one, they ordered their sl8s from hk specifically with no bag. It even has a special sku for the psa version.

Yes it does 😅 I was happy for that haha simple screws to take out then the stock rail slides oht

I was wondering the same. I heard there are issues with the Tommy built receivers but wasn't sure on the hk modified receivers
What was the turnaround time?
My turn around time was 3 weeks 😅 worth the wait haha
