    I used semi-circles for the ears I felt like it looked more natural and like bear ears that way. Great tutorial and loved learning a new stitch (the base of the hat)!

    I love the pattern I was wondering if you have a pattern adult? I'm trying to figure it out but I'm new at crocheting so I'm having a bit of a hard time ☹️

      i did adult size. the amount of round one will change the size. like 12 dc is for kid size, but 24 dc or else will be adult size.
      im using 16ply acrylic cotton yarn so it need only 18 dc

    I really like this pattern, I made 2 for my great-granddaughter, however, I replaced the ears with squiggles...they came out great.

    In rows Round 12 & 13, when you slip stitch, do you do that "normally" or in that 3rd loop too?

    This pattern is lovely and it helped me to make some cute gifts for a babyshower.
    I have a request if possible please. I have never seen anyone do the magic ring like you do. It is the easiest method I have ever seen and I've able to make a magic ring (following the video) every time. Usually I really struggle. Could you possibly do a short video for your magic ring method? I keep using the start of this video when I need to use a magic ring. Thank you.

    This is so helpful, I only found an 8 ply yarn (dont get 10 ply yarn suitable for babies where I live) and when I followed this pattern the beanie seems more curvy. More like a cup. What can I do to decrease the curvature?

      I had the same issue with this pattern size. It was a bit short for my 9mth old. I resolved the problem by doing 2 more rounds of round 12 and 13. Then finished (round 14 stitches) according to the video. So my beanie had 16 rounds!
