    I think it only works with odd multiplies of 3 cause I started with 37 which means I have 36 so it doesn’t end with the same stitch. Am I correct cause I have restarted this about 10 times.

      Hi! I think you may be right but even if you end with a different stitch then just do the opposite in the next row. For example, you start with a hdc and end with a slip stitch like yours does then in the next row start with a hdc instead on top of the last stitch. At the end of the row you will end with a slip stitch. So In this case it will just be a one row repeat pattern which is perfectly ok. Your hat is going to look the same. I hope this helps 🤗

    How do you do this is it a half double crochet stich, skip 1 chain then a half stich? Or is it half double crochet, and then in the next chain right after that a half stich it's a little confusing.

      You just weave or sew some yarn or thread through the center of the ears and attach the bows.

    For the length of the circumference, if I’m comprehending correct, do we chain to the length of the circumference and the total length of the the project is how much it should be when it’s done? Does that make sense?

    It would have been awesome if she showed us one more row. So I do my first Slip stitch in the first hole or the second. And I’d end with a slip stitch if I started is that correct?
    I’ll have to stop and look for a new pattern. 😢

      If you end with a hdc you start the next row with a slip stitch on top of the first st and vice versa if you end with a slip st, you start with a hdc always on top of the first st after turning.

    I just made this hat, so easy! I did use a bulky yarn and a 6.5mm hook. Still turned out cute.
    Have you ever added anything to the points for a boy? Like little tufts or anything?

    For inches you add 2 inches more and if your using centimetres you add 5 centimetres more for making the chain is that right

    I'm a little lost, I started with a HDC in the 2nd chain from hook but every time I get to the end I'm ending with a SlSt. I've tried a few times and made sure I definitely have 34 chains but I'm still ending with a slst instead of a hdc every time.

      That’s fine too. In the next row you would just start with a hdc on top of the slip st.

      You just get some yarn and needle and just sew the corners either one or 2 stitches on each side to hold the ears in place.

      It’s probably your tension. Try using a bigger hook size and make your stitches a little loose.
