This video was super informative and beautifully made! I never realized how much work goes into producing olive oil. However, I wonder if the emphasis on the traditional methods might overshadow some of the modern techniques that could be more sustainable. What do you all think?
this video is super informative and really well-made! i have to say though, i was a bit surprised by the amount of processing involved in making olive oil. i always thought it was more of a natural process, but seeing the machinery and steps in action makes me wonder if we're losing some of that authenticity. what do you all think?
This is indeed very natural. It just don’t look like it because it’s so big. All they really did was wash, ground and press. Nothing added or chemical bullshit. They make it in bulk, to be efficient and make more money, because it’s shipped all over the world from only certain areas. Back 100 years ago they could make less because they only sold locally anyways. Back then you could handpress it. Go see how canola oil or sunflower oil is made. Then you’ll see a BIG process, with terrible oils. Olive oil is great!
Is there an explanation on whether it's the pit (seed) only that's being crushed for the oil? Is the olive flesh ground with the pit? When/how is the water/olive juice/particulates separated and filtered out of the oil after or before the pressing? I know there's a mechanical pitting machine that pops the pit through the end of the olive so that it can be sized and bottled for sale.. can that be added? Inquiring minds want to know! 🤔
I am not sure why you guys keep commenting about ”Precise precision”? it might sound redundant to some but it can be used in context where you want to emphasize a very high level of accuracy
I loved your enthusiasm when you said ''precise precision''. Kudos for impersonating a popular brand.
Only the precisiest of the precise!
You're just jealous of their Super Precise Precision Swagger.
precise precision sounds like a bloons tower defense upgrade name

Stone fruits are added to salads all over the world. It’s not exactly a new thing.

Pouring with precise precision eh?
Kudos for specifying "nature's liquid gold"
In my country, it is forbidden to cook with olive oil, instead, it is sold by pastors to church members for religious purposes 😅😂

If they cant use oil in cooking i think they live in hell.
