Hello Friends! Whew, that was a LONG one! Meal planning can be a huge undertaking IF you aren’t armed with the right tools. I hope this video helps you get organized and plan delicious meals for your daycare babies!
I like the theme days. I did it for awhile but I need to get back at doing it again. Thanks for doing a review of Sarah’s meal planning workbook. I also like her and get ideas from her a lot.
Great video, I'm from Namibia, africa I really want to start my own daycare in my dad's house 😅 up in the garage, I have worked at a daycare before and I love kids and have a great connection with kids but don't know where to start 🙌 just started watching ur videos and they are quite helpful, thanks for being such a great person, great mom great care provider and beautiful! I'm so inspired.
Love these meal videos. I dont run a daycare but i stay home with my 2 toddlers and it gives me some ideas of meals/snacks to offer them instead of the same things rotated lol. Thanks so much for taking the time to document what you serve and i really enjoyed the tips!
Sandy Maldonado thank you for watching and for your sweet comment!!! I remember being a stay at home mom to littles and I had the same problem! My poor kids were eating PB&J daily 🤦🏻♀️. Glad you found this useful!
hahaha you crack me up! Yes girl its a tripod. Are you using your phone or a camera? I use my camera so I have a tripod for that and I can set it above and have an overhead view. You'll need some lighting to set behind the camera or phone so the light will reflect. My husband does use his phone and he has a tripod. He also has some really cool lenses for his phone he got on amazon. So he has a wide angle lens that attaches to his iphone6 and then uses his tripod that holds phones (amazon) and the lighting boxes that free stand are about $45/50 bucks. They also sell a circular ring light box that sets behind your phone while you're filming to lighten your camera shot. I am opening my daycare in the next couple of weeks for my son who is non verbal. I too love you, sarah, and clubhouse kids lol. LOVE this community and so thrilled you guys are doing this. Ill post a tour of my daycare space when I am done with it. Take care! -Becca
Do you have your meal plan sheet on your teachers pay teacher? i just started following you there too and im desperately looking for a monthly meal sheet......Help!!!! Please!!!!!
I run a large family daycare of 12 to 14 munchkins and after 7 years on the food program I took myself off it. I realized that I had to pay taxes on the reimbursement amount at the end of the year tax time and it also made my overall income amount go up in the next tax bracket so I paid a % more in the overall tax. So between the energy to track the paperwork and random visits that are a little disturbing the routine of the flow of the day. I felt it was too stressful in my opinion and I like to take the full food expense amount off my income on my taxes. So just keep that in mind
You should have your own website of forms, documents, planner blah blah that we pay you lol you are seriously my inspiration for childcare! I strive to have a daycare like yours!
We have a operation manual were everything is kept to do with our daycare. But we dont do food plans as our children bring their own lunch boxs to daycare
@@mommytomany5674Sammi good to know. I have a whole set of replay dishes on my Amazon wishlist. I just need to order them, just so expensive. You can't beat all the different color options. Can an older child drink out of the sippy without the lid on or did you order the regular cup for them?
They all drink out of these, but I do have the munchkin trainer cups for my toddlers. I don’t have any older kiddos enrolled at this point. I try to give them ample opportunity to try out normal cups with water (they usually have their camelbak’s too), but when it comes to milk I always do a sippy cup with a lid. Love you channel btw!
Great video! I'm starting an inhome daycare and this is awesome info! Also, the link to Sarah's meal plan on podia doesn't work. Do you know how I can purchase it?
Samantha, Like you, I am a home child care owner. I really enjoyed this video. I've been with you for 2-3 months or so and Sarah a bit longer. I have her meal planner as well. I think it was $15? Or you could get both versions for $20. Anyway, thanks for the great video. I am a fan. Question: I know you had them in a video of a daycare haul, but are those re-play plates and cups? Thanks again.
For the overhead shots, you put your camera on a tripod and have it really leaned over. You have to attach a weight to one of the legs to balance it, i used to use a jug of oil and a rubber band tied to the tripod leg. There are videos that show you how to set it up!
Need a crib and a play pan and a high chair change table diaper change before nap time wash up after snack need a nap time day need to sing in the kids what time day need to take the kids to the daycare what time to pick up from the daycare

Hi Samantha. Can you please do a video on your food program experience? Thanks!
Great suggestion! It's on my list :)

Loved this video, wonderful ideas!
To record looking down use a Tripod in which you can tilt forward. Just be sure you anchor the back side to be safe. Thank you for the video

My kids are around the same ages as yours. 11, 8, 5, 4, 2 and 7 months. Has nothing to do with this video but i noticed it on your description.
Hi Sammie. Is this your only channel? I'm really enjoying it being a grandmother.
Debra Brook thank you for watching! This is my only channel :-) I hope you can find some useful info!
I love the theme idea. I'm working on a new summer menu, I'm going to use that to simplify the planning. How are your replay sippy cups holding up?
Clubbhouse Kids awesome! They are holding up like a dream. Still look brand new and my kiddos are ROUGH! Totally worth the investment.

May be time to bust our your own meal planner because the Work.Life.Glue link is dead! Now I'm planner-less! Lol

jillbequick YOU ARE A GENIUS!! Thank you!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I tried to click on the meal plan, it says "can't be found" which makes me so sad lol
