Just getting a couple hook ups makes it worth it 🤙🏻 I probably land 1 out of every 4 hook ups 😂. Finicky buggers are really good at shaking the hook out of their mouth. I’ve got about half a dozen landed this year off the beach on the fly. I’m from North Vancouver island and it’s been a great year so far for coho. My favourite fly for Coho is the California niel/coho bugger. All colours are good but chartreuse or pink are my favourite.
Thanks for sharing your experience, as well as some tips and flies to use! We appreciate them a lot. Any advice on how you’ve successfully managed to hook and land?
