Yes Louie being Louie Early on he did an imitation of his Mom - the way she would describe food ‘ a nice bowl of soup ‘ ‘ a nice sandwich’ omg so funny and with the Minnesota accent ! !
I think we all lost out on Louie Anderson not having more serious roles in television. He was such a great actor. I watched his stand-up comedy and his cartoon show Life with Louie as a boy and the FX show Baskets recently and his role as Christine in Baskets is my favorite. Bravo Louie.
I love when he talks about food like your buying Crack in an alley. My favorite bakery is down an alley. It's ran by a old German family. Best éclairs in the state. They have been in business over 50 years.
Mr. Walgreen bought a 1901 Oldsmobile with the profits from his 1st year in the business of selling drugs. It had a "tiller" instead of a steering wheel. Fun to work on & fun to drive! Fundamentally it was a carriage without horses.
On January 18, 2022, Anderson went to hospital in Las Vegas. Anderson succumb to complications from the big "C" 3 days later, on January 21, 2022, at the age of 68.
I tried to make a joke with a receptionist about a question on the form you must fill out in a doctors office. The question was, "Are you running from the law". I asked if they really thought I would answer that with a yes!? She had no humor whatsoever.
What's your favorite Louie Anderson role ever?
