The HobbyKing™ Paramotor is extremely easy to fly due to its very gentle and stable flight characteristics yet once you are used to it, it will perform loops and rolls with ease. Due to the design the huge high performance 2400mm sail opens quickly for easy launching and it will retain its shape even in turbulence. The single skin durable sail is made from 100% ripstop fabric and comes pre-rigged with tough polyethylene lines and ready to attach to the durable aluminum gondola. It does require a computer radio with mixing and servo control curves, to see what is involved in the radio set up please watch the attached video and also the one for the setting up of the parafoil itself.
There is a high level of prefabrication so assembly time is minimal and it is Plug-N-Fly so all you require is your own transmitter, receiver, and battery. The Paramotor is fitted with a powerful 3530-1400KV brushless motor swinging a 10 x 4.7 propeller, it also has a 50 amp electronic speed controller with 5 amp BEC and 2 powerful 15kg high torque metal geared servos. A 3S lipo battery is recommended and it can vary in capacity to suit different flying conditions. The recommended flying weight is 1.6~2.0kg, in light wind conditions it is best to put a lighter battery in to keep near the 1.6kg weight. In windy conditions, it is better to put a heavier battery in to fly around the 2kg mark. The undercarriage is easily removed for hand launching and catching and also for slope soaring.

"Another beautiful sexy flight" ! This paraglider looks like a handful but has so much possibilities like you said on a nice summer day. Catching thermals will be interesting for sure if you can find them but in the farmers field they can be found. Still the maiden flight with Capt Blatz stop drop and rolling on the ground was to date one of the funniest videos yet! Thanks for all the laughs and smiles guys!!!!!

Very cool, I already remember one that I had, do not worry about the battery. In the worst case if the battery die you will only need to walk a little 😁, I think the sail has a bit of brake, so you do not go so much up when you accelerate, my paramotor when it is accelerated stood with the trolley high and gets some altitude and speed, have a good week

Good Stuff Guys! I just 3D printed a Paramotor for a friend this week-it cost me $8 in materials!!!! Not my cup of tea but I'm sure hobbyking will sell plenty.

Pilot Robert, Adding a bigger battery, in 3 cell, of course, will do 2 things for you, it will increase flying time, which would be good for FPV applications, and will allow you to fly in rougher conditions. The common misconception about paramotors is that you can only fly in calm conditions. In reality, the rougher the conditions, the more you load the wing, easy. I'm going to put FPV gear on mine, and also experiment with adding a servo to pull slightly on the "A's", simulating a speedbar, which is a device used to increase airspeed in level flight, allowing a higher throttle setting without going into orbit. Well done gentlemen!

@@Dragon69FlyTeam Unfortunately, due to my having to live in a "blue" state, where freedom is a rare thing, and the fact that the powers that be have basically made R/C an illegal activity, unless you jump through many hoops, put an FAA tail number on your models, and flight parameters so restrictive, it makes FPV flying nearly impossible, I haven't flown anything I have in quite a long time. I keep it all in hopes that the beast will die, and we'll see some freedom again.
@@lookingupforjesus Well the netherlends isnt much better, but i found some holes to get my license for free :) and a register number for (universal for all my rc crafts) for 11 euro a year. something i can live with. Some fpv rules you can take with a grain of salth thoug. use commen sense to avoid problems. Dont know where you from but in eu, it doesnt matter where you get youre license, as long it is in the eu. so i took my exam online in luxemburg for free. I stopped flying a while ago to (my big models) becouse of all the shouting of laws etc. Now have taken the exam, its not that big of a deal really. its just in case of problems, they now can sue you if you 1 Harm some one into a hospital ( so a small cut, or even a car crash without Injury/trauma doesnt count!) and 2 if you fly in no fly zone's (airports, militairy and some city's) flying over people is a no go. but most cases you can get closer than you think is allowed. 3 dont upload faces or license plates without permission.
Now im picking up all flight again big and small, realy found my joy back :) also no cam and under 250gr its a toy can fly anywhere crowded or not .
love my small heli's and parkflyers for that. and cams get so small... i still fpv it lol

Love you guys, keep up the great videos. I just maiden mine, I’m using the same battery as you ( rhino 3s 5000mah 20c ) and I got 22:39 and had 3.85v in each cell left. What a great paramotor once you get the hang of it. I’m going with a pilot next flight. Thanks for all your videos.

Can't tell if you're Russian or Canadian but 10/10 would have a beer and fly rc with these dudes. And I need to add this to my rc arsenal. Ill be getting this soon.

Nice video! Some of the takes makes me feel that it was an actual paramotor and not a R/C model! For being the first time you have flown, you did a freat take off and even a better landing! I decided to buy one for myself. I just found a guy in Colombia who does custom made R/C paramotors and parasailers. Mine will be a 4 meters wingspan!

That was a great job for being so new to ram air wing. You will learn a lot with that Paramotor. U will have to use some brake as you add throttle. That will make it climb like a rocket!!

The motor does nothing except help it climb. The wing will fly at “trim speed” so if you want the nose to come up, add throttle and pull just a slight amount of brake. You could even set a few clicks of trim to help. Too much brake and it will stall. Don’t launch from the ground, hand launch always. It will always be failure from the ground. If u can find a hill it is very fun to soar these...
also if u hold a bit of brake u have more control authority..
After a few flights you will learn the body language that you need to launch this type of aircraft. It is more like a kite that will be free than a glider. You launch a glider with strength and speed. For a para, you need to fill the wing and step forward to set the motor under the wing and let it fly away. It is not fast. It is graceful. You will do it better every time until it is natural. True, you don't have an elevator, but you do have a climb rate. There is no use to using more throttle than the climb rate. So, you will learn the throttle position that produces the best climb rate, the best fast and slow cruising speed, and the best landing speed. I will enjoy seeing you become an expert in another type of aircraft. Maybe I will get one for my grandson. Thanks again for sharing!

Remember those old stick-on nav lights you put on the Mig-15? Stick one color on yours and a different one on your brother's. Stick it pointing up toward the canopy and it should light it up the canopy at dusk.

We've had a few people who flown the chute itself and it has a tendency to fold or crumple under strong wind. This is probably due to the low quality strings used for the chute. Quite a few changed it to quality fishing line strings and most of the issues went away.
Thanks for that insight - maybe this is why they recommend little heavier setup? (to stretch lines better ..)
