Congratulations to RT Troy Fautanu who was the PFF PLAYER OF THE GAME. He went unbeaten in 29 pass blocking snaps, and he was beaten only once out of 26 run blocking snaps. No penalties either. Keep up the great work Troy!

How guys that cover a team are not familiar with " game script" is truly mind boggling to me. Go look at Justin Herbert stats with Harbaugh the Great. Coach Tomlin had faith in the defense when they went up by two scores. The second holding on Broderick was weak

They would have increased their point total this week if not for a questionable call in a lot of people’s opinion. He has done as asked, not turned the ball over and won. Penalties stalled a lot of momentum in yesterday’s game. The pass to GP that got called back on Broderick’s hold while in the run was a thing of beauty. A straight up dime! He gets another week to improve as he did last week. As a Steelers fan that’s all I hope for. It’s not gloom and doom. This organization and Arthur Smith could be good for him. Dan Moore had one good game against a bad Falcons team. So all of sudden he his this stud franchise left tackle. Give me a break. He was one of the worst left tackles in football last season facts! Jones has been shafted by Tomlin and this coaching staff. He was not even practicing at LT during training camp. He even told reports that he had know idea where he would play. Moore was never forced to play RT like Jones. He has been babied and given every opportunity to be the staring LT. In addition he is in his last year of his contract. Omar Khan has not even mentioned resigning him. So make it make since that you sit your potential franchise left tackle, that has taken little to no reps at his natural position, told to learn another position, then when he doesn't master that new position he gets benched for the other top draft pick whom never has played one down in a real NFL game. Yet fans are to believe this coach is doing a great job of managing Jones. Yeah right. Keven Dotson prime example of not knowing what you have and forcing a round peg into a square hole. Did you see Dotson staring on the Rams against the Loins? Stud out there but he could barley crack the staring line up with the Steelers. Why is that? Average coach looking to only to make sure he doesn't have a losing season. 9-7 8-8 rinse and repeat!

I don't think Fields has done anything wrong. He's playing *exactly* the kind of football the Steelers want him to. So credit him for that. But JFC this is the most boring ass team to watch BY FAR and it's not even close. Staring at a blank wall, watching grass grow, watching paint dry, all more entertaining than this team. It's been like six YEARS of this dink-and-dunk nonsense and every year or two there's a new excuse for why they can't push the ball down field and we need to content ourselves with 3 yard runs on 98% of plays and this conservative paint-drying offense.
2017 or maaaybe 2018 was the last year (of the Killer Bs) they put a "modern offense" on the field. After that it's been nothing but defense, defense, defense.
2019: Ben was injured so everything had to be simplified for Mason and Duck.
2020: Ben was coming back from injury and the line of the past decade had imploded so things had to be simple and fast to get the ball out and protect Ben.
    2021: Repeat of 2020.
2022: We had a rookie QB with processing issues and a horrendous OL still so once again, things had to be over-simplified and quick.
2023: Repeat of 2022 with Kenny and Canada. More dink-and-dunk nonsense.
2024: We have Justin Fields and we just want him to protect the ball.
Sigh. I know people are just going to say "A win is a win" but I'm sorry, this is supposed to be entertaining right? It's not supposed to be boring as fuck watching sports. This is like watching two people compete at doing their taxes. There's going to be a "winner" at the end of that too, any of you want to send me $200 for a ticket to that and pretend that it's fun watching people do that? Because I doubt anyone is ACTUALLY enjoying watching this style of football.
