well reviewed Nobby, I'vr been wondering about this car after seeing all the Twitter ads. Intrusive machine intelligence seems to be the order of the day on many new cars.
So, £70-75k? Is this better than Kia’s EV9? Both imo have pluses and minuses in design… and are not really the answer to an electric people carrier (with decent range) for the masses! If I had that kind of money to spend, I think I’d trust the Kia more. But, meanwhile, in the real world, let’s hope Ford’s new Galaxy comes in at a more affordable figure.
Nice van but for a niche market and plastic interior is unforgivable at that price range. Also doesn't look very aerodynamic so the range is gona be crap.
Are big heavy tanks like this Mifa9 or those iX tanks really appropriate for battery power? Driving big heavy tanks on motorways are never going to be economical regardless of battery technology and it would be more economical, less time consuming and probably more environmentally friendly using a diesel BMW X5 or a hybrid. Battery powered cars should really be confined to smaller more lightweight cars, as physics dictates to be more environmentally friendly.
Is that China's answer to Ssang Yong ? Also a Harris import, isn't it ? And here - Nobby ... a Commode Handle ?? Did I hear you right. My grandmother had a commode and I'm still not recovered.😂
Absolute joke along with Kia ev9. Price for an mpv 😂🤦🏻. The mifa 7 is $40k. Yet I expect it to be £50k car. Do they not understand who wants (needs) an mpv! Can't take back seat out when need be. 🙄. Miss the point.
Enjoyed the review Nobby but this is one God-Awful looking thing. I imagine that a lot of undertakers will be ripping the seats out and using as a hearse.
That is a hideous car. What's weird is it comes from the same parent company as MG which puts in some effort but this looks more like a sad faced hearse. Imagine if they had put some effort into making it look nice.

Ah yeah, they’re not alone in the warnings and beeps for sure but a lot of the Chinese stuff is another level for tech and warnings.

For motorway driving, possibly. Although more chargers coming on will help.
