Same. No big deal if just plans, but I bought all the parts. Be nice if limited switch design and opto-isolated details can be given to us recent V2 buyers.
I’m looking forward to the next video! I am currently running a Crossfire Pro which is good *most* of the time. But sometimes, you just need bigger! I’m thinking about a 4x8.
I built mine as a 48x52 cut area with dual y motors and custom stainless pan over the summer. Call it the XXL 😂 Cut quality is nice but need to upgrade to the machine torch from primeweld when its back in stock. Videos of it in action on the channel if anyone is interested!
Wow, really considering upgrading my modified version 1 to the new one. But when I made the first one I converted from Imperial to Metric, as the metric was not available at first. But when will the metric version be ready for this one?
I am in the middle of building this and there are some issues with the plans. When building the Z axis, it says to cut the motor screw to 215mm and the slide rods to 235mm. I'm going to say they should be about the same length. I had to cut about 25mm off the slide rods after I cut them to 235mm.
I have the same question. If you are going to turn open the bottle of gas for welding the bends might as well weld the whole thing. Using the bolts only to level the table….
Welding introduces heat, which introduces distortion, which will give you a bad time when precision is needed. When commercial/industrial manufacturers weld things that need to be super precise, they will have welding procedures in place with jigs, fixtures and post welding processes to get the result they want. I've noticed a lot of people going with those Chinese are Korean laser setup maybe that should be something down the road you think about adding to yours too well I think about a 60 watt laser on your setup
I've been waiting for this ever since you posted the short. Great work
Wow! I had just purchased your plans for V2. I would have held out for the gantry version if I had know that you were going to offer it.

Great looking build👍Ive been trying to finish mine for 2 years.
Really interesting watch, and impressive work too
🔥
This is looking very good. Definitely interested
Nice!! looking forward to building this table,,
Lookin good 👍🏻 I don’t have the space for one that big!
I just got the v2 wish I knew this was an option
Seriously considering building this. Is my Ender 3 v2 up for printing the 3D printed parts, or do I need a better printer?

I had to immediately purchase
I've purchased V1 and the new V2 plans. Is this going to be a V3 purchase or just an add on to the V2 access we have now?
Its another 45 dollar plan package on their website. Been jn my cart for a few days now.

My big question is when you going to release a metric version?
Their plans have always come with a metric version included.
Is it possible to do if the steel is not straight?
Are you going to sell just the one plastic bearing setup or do I have to buy a whole bunch of extra stuff

Out of curiosity, why not use aluminum extrusions? great work though!
maybe because of cost i guess but for gantry it would be worth it so the moment of inertia could be lower
We need the superior metric machine😂
Hi purchased v2 couple weeks back only printed a few 3d parts now i have purchased xl plans are any of 3d parts the same
What would be wrong with welding the base frame instead of bolting???
