The dancing is fun, but the music of the ‘50s was vapid. In contrast, much of the music of the late ‘60s/early ‘70s actually *had something to say,* a quality rarely seen before, except in folk and some blues music. The ‘60s/‘70’s also brought an elevated level of musical talent rare in popular music the decade before: Jimmy Page, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, et al. You may not like what you’re hearing in today’s popular music, but at least we’re beginning to see a return of some thoughtful, even inspiring, lyrics. I see hope in that. And if you take the time to look beyond the mainstream, you’ll find a breadth of styles that was *never* available before!

This is so so good! Makes me want to run out and jive on the streets, despite not knowing how to do it at all! They make it look so easy but I bet hours and hours of practice has gone into making this such a joyful experience for everybody. Absolutely brilliant! 👏👏👏👏👏👏
My sweetheart and i would dance like this at the local bar. Then the war broke out and was sent to fight in the frontlines. Lost a leg and was never able to dance again. This gave me a smile. Thank you.
