Few people know that Zoryana represented Ukraine for some time at international Boogie Woogie dance competitions, when Tanya represented Norway in the competition. Together they taught in Kyiv at the "Elvis" dance school. And now Zoryana Dulibeaud is the WRRC International Judges Boogie-Woogie from the French Dance Federation.
This must be said that in my opinion if anyone out there in the competitive swing-dance circuit is giving Nils and Bianca a run for their money, it is this duo, Sondre & Tanya. This is both in skill, but also as great visual story-tellers with on original style and verve, but also grace and smoothness. I am the person who did the viral videos of Nils & Bianca footage set to "Rock this Town" and Prince & the Revolution's "Delirious," and I'm so impressed with Sondre & Tanya's moves that i'm actually working on a music video for them!!! When I was growing up, I used to love to watch my mom and dad dance, mom was a big woman, a little over 200 lbs. but she was light on her feet, dad used to just flip her around like she was a feather.
I got you guys secret? You have rubber legs. Wish I could see you live on the cruise. My wife and I used to jive now we live through you and it bring back great memories, thank you.
There is no doubt that Georgian (country in Caucasus) dances are the best ones the world, but I always fall silent when I see Amenican dances: "Boogie-Woogie" and “Let's tweest again”. Nothing more beautiful and incendiary has ever been thought of by mankind. I love America for that dances.
Russians talk about the Americans and all that, but the truth is that they can'\t get enough of American stuff specially old music and dance, if you look at the videos from Russians dancing they adore these oldies big time, have to say, they are superb dancers even better than American themselves, just look at the dancing competitions in the U.S the Russians and Eastern Europeans are the ones that are keeping the dancing flame alive, Salsa, Tango, and everything else, you name it, they do it great.
