  • In the latest episode I am dressing drafted corners on new sawn 90mn walling. The stone is quarried at Hillhouse Edge quarry in Holmfirth, Huddersfield.
I am using a variety of stone dressing tools to pitch the corners. A tungsten nicker, 3 inch Riley Pitching chisel & 4 inch pitching chisel.

Just found your channel. As a pretty good family handyman (in addition to husband, and dad of young adults) who appreciates those who produce real craftsmanship, I’m absolutely mesmerized by your work and your humble narrative. I look forward to exploring your past videos and your ongoing content.

Thank you so much. Am glad you found my account and hopefully like my content. If you ever have any questions don't hesitate to ask as it's a very niche trade

Lovely craft, but seeing this I can’t help but think, isn’t there something like a pneumatic clipper bench or big old airchisel to make this a bit easier. Potentially. For production runs.

Thank you for watching. There is pitching machines which quarry use to pitch walling. It wouldn't get into the arris on thr stone to pitch it back

Cuz, film then go back and dub a quick voice over. Will be worth the effort one day. Don't miss a gem just because.

Thanks for the tip. Would you recommend voiceover more than natural speak?
