    Professionalism at it's finest. Perfect example of customer service at it's best! I was slow to pull the trigger on both the TRmaker as well as this fantastic tacking mechanism. To the point where they were both sold out by the time I was ready. I let Brian know though a comment here, and right away both were again avalible. (And now my credit card has taken a double hit) smiles.
    Thanks Brian! Keep the innovations coming!

    Congratulations, finally someone here realized that the pivot point of the axis has to be in the middle of the roller as far as possible. With thousands of belt grinders, the roll hangs like the pendulum on a clock. Greetings from Styria ...

    I'm glad you pointed out this isn't needed. It shows you aren't just pushing products. I've never had any problems with my commercial grinders. I have 2, a Grizzly 2 x 72, and a Craftsman 2 x 42. Both track perfect out of the box. And while price point is an issue for many the craftsman is great for a novice.

    Wonder why the two different threads, I think keeping them both 1/4 - 20 would work? I guess time will tell but I keep thinking, grinding dust and metal shavings? I do like the steel wheel. Just ordered the wheels, motor and controls for the three I am building. The controls were very quick to ship. Keep up the good videos. I watch them at lunch from work. Oh that tap wrench, the best! I think you should consider a countersink / center drill for your holes. The tap starts very easy and it looks finished, no burrs. I did get the down load for rev4 should have parts this week. Thanks

    Darryl's besign is so sleek and sexy. As soon as you see how it works you have that "oh, makes perfect sense" moment. Onky thing I would change is making both holes tapped for ¼-20, bit that's just a drill bit away😁. Keep up the great work guys!

    I love it! I'm guessing Darrel's out of Wichita. I had a machine shop there for ten years in my twenties. I did all the precision grinding for all the landing gear for Lear jet and Raytheon, actually I did everything by the time I sold that. I like bumping into people like Darrel. The manufacturing industry has gotten a little dummied up with CNC equipment and millennials lol. Its kind of rare, from my little corner of the world anyway, to bump into those you can share ideas with on a normal level

Looking for the upgrade parts to take my yet unbuilt revolution grinder to the gen 4 upgrade..I know you said you are going to do a video of how to order and build a prevous gen revolution with the parts required to build is as if it was ordered as a gen 4. As always, these are very cool and innovative ideas. I have built one of your grinders and I'm looking to do some upgrades to mine. I am impressed by your ability to both 3D design and fabricate. What kind of computer do you design with? I'm looking to get into 3d design and trying to find out what kind of computer is best for running a 3d software like fusion 360.
    Thanks for the help, keep making these awesome designs!

    Just one question, I purchased your plan's for your 2x72 grinder! My question is the dfx files load right into my CNC design software for my plasma cutting table! You mentioned that your plate parts are laser cut, is it that critical that they couldn't be cut with plasma? Thanks Irwin 😊

    • @HouseMadeUS
      @HouseMadeUS  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      You can cut the profiles out with plasma but all holes need to be drilled. Plasma isn’t accurate enough for the holes.

    Very advanced tracking mechanism, that looks great, but a little pricey. On another note, does the steel in the bundle I have, have mill scale, it doesn't look like it, should I vinegar bathe the bundle steel? Thank you for all of the time you have spent developing this project. I have made knives for a few years, with no shortage of customers, I'm kinda anal about quality over quantity. But times are hard, given the recent events over the past year. Looking forward to retiring and go full time maker. It makes it affordable for a struggling maker to get into a great industrial quality belt grinder. From a Guy in Tucson

      I just ordered a 3hp 3ph motor from automation direct. It is identical to House's preferred motor but more powerful. You have to get a vfd that will run a 3hp motor and I went with a 3hp vfd also from automation direct. They have tons of documentation on their products so that was a great selling point. House has a link to the 2hp motor and you can enter your email and be notified when they come in, or look up the 3hp version.
