the guy that did all the panel work (welding/cutting/chiseling) is someone who has clearly put a lot of time and effort into learning his craft. I wish i had the knowledge and knowhow that he does. Awesome build!
what stops you from accumulating knowledge?

I went to school and studied collision repair for 3 years got my certs and now i do this everyday as i work as a collision repair mechanic its a super rewarding job seeing this wrecked vehicles come back to life.
Its never too late to pursue something that you want to do there are schools and courses that will teach you collision repair, welding, fabrication, etc i was like you then when i was 16 i got serious about it and started studying it and it payed off in the end.
He clearly must be good if he can do it in less than 10 minutes

The gtr and silvia car lines are female looking cars.. Nissan mostly make cars that have more female looking faces, it's the same with ford just look at the focus and fiesta car line

So amazing to watch and how does one remember where it all goes, can't find my keys 50% of the time. Hats off great outcome.
All cars are more or less the same, suspension,body all of it. Once you are around them enough you can just place where the part goes, and you always take pictures first 😂
This is 100%+ on dedication. The parts and the amount of labor involved Are just insane drilling all the spotwelds twice and putting it all back together applause.
seeing cars in a condition like that hurts me so much. I cant imagine how the previous owner felt when the GTR got destroyed. I would be devastated. It's nice seeing youtubers like these guys bringing cars like this back to life.

sometimes we have more skills and knowledge but not tools to do good devices and other tools we need and i give an example of it:
- I had a MAZDA 121 1,25 zetec 1998 and in 2019 a drunk guy driving his car hited mine on it front.
I sent my MAZDA to some "mechanics" who always claimed to be "experts in that subject' but i don't know what the hell they done cause neither the car engine had the place for it.
Well, i had to send my MAZDA to the junkyard cause the car no more went to the road.
If i had all those tools on the video i woulded save my MAZDA.
Sometimes we are better mechanics that most "mechanics" theirselves.

They didn't send it away to have the body checked for straightness.
It now may handle like a polished teurd , and perhaps be a death trap at high speed.

The next owner will likely wondering why the tires wear unevenly and it handles like a teurd.
I actually saw this for sale on a salvage market a long time ago glad to see this beast got the rebuild it needed

And money probably cost money too although some parts are probably donor and other from scrapyards I doubt everything is oem off Nissan
Car ain’t worth saving. The time and money and labor to rebuild is more than cost of the wrecked GTR.

@@miguelramos8531 Most people scrap the broken parts and buy new/used ones, which cost a lot. But if you look carefully, they barely bought anything, if any, new at all. They put in the time and effort to fix those broken parts, meaning, the Nissan was barely changed at all.

It might look easy to rebuild.But on a job like this you always run into problems.I should know i did this kind of work for over 30 yrs.l rebuild many cars ,usually took a while to get it done.But good job
