Love your builds and your explanation of the mods used. Let me preface the following - I am seeing this build guide in late September, after they updated the Reactor icons. You were calling for a singular reactor but it was showing a tech reactor icon. Then I realized they had changed the icons for the reactors (tech, fusion, dimension, singular). Keep Up the good work.

My build is very similar, but I don't use any duration mods, I have duration on my reactor. I get to 7 second cool down on blizzard, and I feel it works better keeping it that way rather than sacrificing a crit mod or increased HP in order to get it down to 6.0 seconds by throwing in focus on tech. I used to have a duration and cool down on reactor but I've switched it out to duration and chill power boost and have had better results. Skill power vs Colossus might be better than chill boost but I'm sick of farming reactors lol.

Good lord- look at those mods all being maxed out. That's impressive! Ult Viessa will be cooking tonight- but still have to put 2 more catas in Gley then work on Valbey.. then finally Viessa. This game is an insane grind to max these characters- but still so addicted.
She's great, I just wish her abilities had more range. And what would be amazing is if her 4 was a moving aoe, like if it could zone in on the nearest enemy and follow it rather than stay in one spot. Some bosses already have homing attacks, so I think it's possible to make it happen. Her ice shackle should also be able to slow the enrage/immune bar down, that would make sense.

Hope to see clairvoyance and blue beetle builds, I got a crap ton of blue beetle blueprints trying to get ult viessa enhanced cells, if I had the same amount for the other parts, I’d nearly have 3 maxed out.
I just unlocked Ult Gley. New week hits and it’s Dimensional general ammo week. I’m gonna farm my perfect Gley reactor! 3 loops in and Cold-Bloodedness randomly dropped. Well, I guess I know my next ultimate.

Any strong weapon will work great on her. I think synergistically Blue Beetle is going to be the best but a weapon with really high DPS might out perform the Blue Beetles passive just due to being so strong. I unfortunately can't test this because I haven't maxed Blue Beetle.

I heard ppl use Secret Garden or for more consistency Blue Beetle but I gotta be honest I dont like the idea of 100% being reliant on abilities in a bossfight for example. Its way harder to break parts for stuns and once u run out of MP ur basically useless so for comfys I think imma stick with TC. curious to know an updated version for Viessa since the changes to the pages happened, I just unlocked ulti Viessa so working on her, The reactor changes cannot come fast enough tho, been using Secret Garden on her and got a Frozen Mixture Reactor to drop with Skill Crit Damage and Cooldown double yellow but with Greg's Mounting 😓
For bossing i would advice replacing Skill expansion for another HP module, why is that? because while yes if you solo a boss they will drop dead very quickly, if you want to help a friend or play coop for the fun of it, this just wont do and you will get killed very often with only 1 HP module, and no adding one defense module doesn't help that much...the second HP module is a massive difference, other than that, i agree with the build.
Yea some opt out for spear and shield cause it helps with both pretty good option. But I'll take less dps for survivability any day. I think he's just showing the fastest TTK for colossus 😅
@@Marzellus1991 Oh i know they aim for pretty showcases of numbers, but unfortunately all video guides that i have seen for viessa only use 1 hp module and never explain that this isn't meant for general use. The outcome is a lot of players dropping in the floor over and over, like all those Lepics min maxed for DPS and the only thing they do is enrage the boss and drop dead, leaving the team vulnerable and in many instances...make everyone lose the fight.
Still very much viable and strong for all content in the game. I may make some changes for a 2nd setup when the preset change comes out and will make sure to release an update on that.

Meuiii gives flex options if you want to alter the build for example if you do not have the modules he is suggesting in the main build or if you want more mana, health, cooldown etc. I have built most of his builds on the characters I have and have not had to change his main build with flex options unless I didn’t have the module. So you’re good to just run his main build bro!

Any weapon that can shred a piece of armor quickly is really nice, like the Enduring Legacy. On Dead Pride a Perforator will be nice, as it's shreding her huge shield quickly. Not directly a synergy, but it does complement the way Viessa deals damage.
I would like to add that her Cold-Bloodedness does NOT scale. It is a flat added -20% CD Reduction. Thus if when not using it you have 68.2% CD (easily achievable without any sub roll on reactor), with Cold-Bloodedness, you will hit 88.2%, which is only 1.8% away from the cap of 90%. This is the best you can get without over investing in CD (and thus going over that 90% and wasting stats that could just be built for other things).
On weapons (with details): For a Spell Slinger Build (Cold-Bloodedness) Viessa, the Blue Beetle is a great weapon for her. A maxed Blue Beetle (only used if maxed) will give a FLAT UNMODIFIABLE Skill Crit Rate of +30% of the descendant's base skill crit rate. Viessa has a decent Base Skill Crit Rate of 15%, meaning the Blue Beetle will add an additional +4.5% Skill Crit Rate to the final value of Skill Crit you have on her. PERMANENTLY (buff is always up). This of course does not work with Absolute Zero, as she loses her Fusion type skills, but all other builds can technically use it for 100% uptime on the buff. If you're not firing your gun at all and just slinging spells, Blue Beetle is one of the best consistent buffs to her skill builds. Again, sadly this buff is not modifiable by anything. Not mods, other characters abilities, own abilities or the like. It is just a simple flat buff. The Blue Beetle itself can be upgraded to deal 400k or so per weakpoint crit shot. Of which it has good crit rate and weakpoint, which is nice. The other skill buffing weapon is the Secret Garden, but that is very RNG. It requires Tech skills, so will NOT work with Hypothermia or Absolute Zero, but there again are caveats when using it. At max, it has a 50% chance to trigger on a Tech Skill cast for a very nice Skill Power buff. Problem is that only her Blizzard (4) is a castable Tech Skill. Yes, her passive is Tech, but since you cannot cast it, it cannot trigger Secret Garden's buff. Buff lasts 10s and can be stacked, but only triggers on cast, not on ticks, so you need a lower than 10s CD and then be lucky to trigger the buff each cast. If you do get lucky and get the buff, but then don't get it on the next cast of Blizzard, the stacks will be lost before you have a chance to cast Blizzard again, thus having to start over with building the stacks again.... So again, it is inconsistent, but a very very nice buff if it works (and stacks). Clairvoyance is best for long duration builds where you have time to shoot between Blizzard Casts (thus not for Spell Slinger builds like Cold-Bloodedness as you never have time to shoot your gun...). The -80% Chill RES Shred is amazing for Viessa since so many bosses have ridiculous RES to Chill, sadly. This weapon is even better in a group of Viessa's as only one needs to have said gun and they will all benefit from it. It is thus a very niche situation gun, but can skyrocket the damage if utilized right (especially in a Chill team....). -------------------- Out of all those, Blue Beetle is my favorite to use, since I like Cold-Bloodedness Spell Slinger builds and rarely, if ever, fire one's gun. If I do fire a gun, I can swap over to it to shoot and the reactor doesn't need to match the gun, as Viessa isn't buffing guns. Her skills also snapshot on cast, so casting the spells with Blue Beetle out will ensure its buffs and the buffs of the reactor will stay for the duration when you swap weapons.
Oh reactor substats. The best DPS increasing ones will be: Skill DMG > Skill Crit Rate > Chill These will affect everything and give you the best DPS increase (no matter your build) These are all better than below, but below options are still alright to get. After that: (Cold-Bloodedness): Tech > Fusion Even in a mobbing build, mobs die fast, so upgrading Blizzard is best since it is best for Colossi and works with mobbing too. Tech also affects your Passive. (Hypothermia): Singular > Fusion Same reason as with Cold-Bloodedness, but Blizzard and the Passive are now Singular (Absolute Zero): Singular only Singular is all that Absolute Zero has, which is amazingly simple. Extra: (Range): Is alright, but you can get more than enough from Mods, so not necessary. (CD Reduction): ONLY if not using Cold-Bloodedness. With Cold-Bloodedness, you get -68.2% CD Reduction from mods, which then is pushed to -88.2%, right at the cusp of the -90% Cap without going over. No wasted stats. If you get this substat on a Cold-Bloodedness build, you'll generally be missing out on some DPS. On Hypothermia and Absolute Zero though, this is a very nice mod to have, since they won't be able to hit that cap like Cold-Bloodedness does.
Ok suddenly i got a weird stuff going on, my cold bloodeness seems to bug like crazy, the moment i use it it instantly deactivate, so i cant benefit from the bonus CD and all, and it worked before, i tried everything to swap reactor weapon and all to see if something weirdly intereacted with it but well no, something just broken, anyone else ? I wanted to make a farming build and be able to spam my skill 4 and it worked at first i could use it every 7sec but suddenly it doesnt work anymore

I haven't done testing with Secret Garden so don't want to mislead with bad information. I do plan to at some point, the gun does look interesting. I think Blue Beetles synergy is crazy strong with Viessa. People have said Clairvoyance is weak but I have looked around and seen no builds that are alike to the one I planned out so I don't know if it's really as weak as people think. If you extend the duration of your magazine you can get a constant -40% chill resist debuff on a boss standing in your Blizzard which could be brutal. I think if you're not sure what to use any strong weapon will work just fine. I would use something that allows you to be mobile and reload quickly so you can use your abilities on a whim.

I'm gonna do some testing with the weapons you advised and just pick what feels the best since i haven't min max my Viessa yet and don't feel pressured to do so. Im still new to the game, mastery 12, up to the desert map in story, is it even worth trying to build these late game builds at this stage? Should I be focusing on a boss or mob farming build?
@@KenseiTamasii Oh yes. It is pretty static for each boss and just matches their HP assuming it's a solo run. There's some fan sites that show the HP of each boss if that's the info you need.
i miss this week farm reactor but i have one godroll for bosses for the Secret garden (dont have it modded yet) Should i mod it for use it? o can i use use my skills then swap to my Main weapon? its a full builded enduring legacy otherwise i have to wait 3 weeks to another reactor rotation ig

Super inconsistent. Having to win a 50/50 on whether the unique ability perk activates is horrible for actual gameplay. If you are going to chase fast clear times then maybe.
Any weapon you're comfortable with is good. A lot of her damage is from abilities similar to Bunny so any strong weapon is a good choice. I would definitely go with something that lets you move around a lot and has a lower reload speed to allow you to constantly use abilities.
I'm here because I grinded out 38 hours for ultimate viessa. 38 hour grind, 17 hour part crafting and 36 hours to craft ultimate viessa. Next is ultimate valby.
How satisfying was it, hey?! In total, I farmed for about the same amount of time. The code was the real grind for me. I was very much over outposts after 123s getting Bunny. But I couldn't find a group who understood Molten Fortress, so I was left to farm with Shaz, the 75s. Grabbed 6 before going and opening them. Got the code on my last one then cracked a 74 open and got the nano tube for Secret. So I actually cheered quite loudly, at 2 am 😂😂
Im still on normal so can’t get ultimate viessa yet should i use catalyst on og viessa or wait to try and get ultimate viessa? P.s haven’t used any catalyst on any character
I would wait for Ultimate Viessa. She comes with 4 polarities built in so that will save you some time and investment. Also just never know what they may do with Transcendant Mods so if they make one of the Ultimate Viessa exclusive ones much stronger you'll want to have her for that.
I dont understnad why you use much skill cd with ablsolute zero. I mean yes, you can spam your skills more often, but in this case why dont you use cold bloodeness if you wanna spam your abilities. IMO you take absolute zero to use your 2nd skill and deal damage with it.
why not focus on tech, go all in on blizzard? That is what I run on my normal Viessa and she is a beast at mobbing. My reactor also gives me bonus to fusion and tech.

Yeah I wish they raised her base range by 50% rather than her max. I do think she's incredibly strong regardless, especially for stationary farms.

I was looking at your build and enjoyed the detail you went into each one.
I have a question for someone like me who rarely gets on. Could I do just the regular build and not worry about changing out for the flex option?
I'm looking for builds that I can keep enjoying the game as long as I can.

Meuiii gives flex options if you want to alter the build for example if you do not have the modules he is suggesting in the main build or if you want more mana, health, cooldown etc. I have built most of his builds on the characters I have and have not had to change his main build with flex options unless I didn’t have the module. So you’re good to just run his main build bro!

Any weapon that can shred a piece of armor quickly is really nice, like the Enduring Legacy. On Dead Pride a Perforator will be nice, as it's shreding her huge shield quickly. Not directly a synergy, but it does complement the way Viessa deals damage.
I would like to add that her Cold-Bloodedness does NOT scale. It is a flat added -20% CD Reduction.
Thus if when not using it you have 68.2% CD (easily achievable without any sub roll on reactor), with Cold-Bloodedness, you will hit 88.2%, which is only 1.8% away from the cap of 90%.
This is the best you can get without over investing in CD (and thus going over that 90% and wasting stats that could just be built for other things).
On weapons (with details):
For a Spell Slinger Build (Cold-Bloodedness) Viessa, the Blue Beetle is a great weapon for her.
A maxed Blue Beetle (only used if maxed) will give a FLAT UNMODIFIABLE Skill Crit Rate of +30% of the descendant's base skill crit rate.
Viessa has a decent Base Skill Crit Rate of 15%, meaning the Blue Beetle will add an additional +4.5% Skill Crit Rate to the final value of Skill Crit you have on her.
PERMANENTLY (buff is always up).
This of course does not work with Absolute Zero, as she loses her Fusion type skills, but all other builds can technically use it for 100% uptime on the buff.
If you're not firing your gun at all and just slinging spells, Blue Beetle is one of the best consistent buffs to her skill builds.
Again, sadly this buff is not modifiable by anything. Not mods, other characters abilities, own abilities or the like. It is just a simple flat buff.
The Blue Beetle itself can be upgraded to deal 400k or so per weakpoint crit shot. Of which it has good crit rate and weakpoint, which is nice.
The other skill buffing weapon is the Secret Garden, but that is very RNG.
It requires Tech skills, so will NOT work with Hypothermia or Absolute Zero, but there again are caveats when using it.
At max, it has a 50% chance to trigger on a Tech Skill cast for a very nice Skill Power buff.
Problem is that only her Blizzard (4) is a castable Tech Skill. Yes, her passive is Tech, but since you cannot cast it, it cannot trigger Secret Garden's buff.
Buff lasts 10s and can be stacked, but only triggers on cast, not on ticks, so you need a lower than 10s CD and then be lucky to trigger the buff each cast.
If you do get lucky and get the buff, but then don't get it on the next cast of Blizzard, the stacks will be lost before you have a chance to cast Blizzard again, thus having to start over with building the stacks again....
So again, it is inconsistent, but a very very nice buff if it works (and stacks).
Clairvoyance is best for long duration builds where you have time to shoot between Blizzard Casts (thus not for Spell Slinger builds like Cold-Bloodedness as you never have time to shoot your gun...).
The -80% Chill RES Shred is amazing for Viessa since so many bosses have ridiculous RES to Chill, sadly.
This weapon is even better in a group of Viessa's as only one needs to have said gun and they will all benefit from it.
It is thus a very niche situation gun, but can skyrocket the damage if utilized right (especially in a Chill team....).

Out of all those, Blue Beetle is my favorite to use, since I like Cold-Bloodedness Spell Slinger builds and rarely, if ever, fire one's gun.
If I do fire a gun, I can swap over to it to shoot and the reactor doesn't need to match the gun, as Viessa isn't buffing guns.
Her skills also snapshot on cast, so casting the spells with Blue Beetle out will ensure its buffs and the buffs of the reactor will stay for the duration when you swap weapons.
Oh reactor substats.
The best DPS increasing ones will be: Skill DMG > Skill Crit Rate > Chill
These will affect everything and give you the best DPS increase (no matter your build)
These are all better than below, but below options are still alright to get.
After that:
(Cold-Bloodedness): Tech > Fusion
Even in a mobbing build, mobs die fast, so upgrading Blizzard is best since it is best for Colossi and works with mobbing too. Tech also affects your Passive.
(Hypothermia): Singular > Fusion
Same reason as with Cold-Bloodedness, but Blizzard and the Passive are now Singular
(Absolute Zero): Singular only
Singular is all that Absolute Zero has, which is amazingly simple.
Extra:
(Range): Is alright, but you can get more than enough from Mods, so not necessary.
(CD Reduction): ONLY if not using Cold-Bloodedness. With Cold-Bloodedness, you get -68.2% CD Reduction from mods, which then is pushed to -88.2%, right at the cusp of the -90% Cap without going over. No wasted stats. If you get this substat on a Cold-Bloodedness build, you'll generally be missing out on some DPS. On Hypothermia and Absolute Zero though, this is a very nice mod to have, since they won't be able to hit that cap like Cold-Bloodedness does.

Ok suddenly i got a weird stuff going on, my cold bloodeness seems to bug like crazy, the moment i use it it instantly deactivate, so i cant benefit from the bonus CD and all, and it worked before, i tried everything to swap reactor weapon and all to see if something weirdly intereacted with it but well no, something just broken, anyone else ?
I wanted to make a farming build and be able to spam my skill 4 and it worked at first i could use it every 7sec but suddenly it doesnt work anymore

I haven't done testing with Secret Garden so don't want to mislead with bad information. I do plan to at some point, the gun does look interesting. I think Blue Beetles synergy is crazy strong with Viessa. People have said Clairvoyance is weak but I have looked around and seen no builds that are alike to the one I planned out so I don't know if it's really as weak as people think. If you extend the duration of your magazine you can get a constant -40% chill resist debuff on a boss standing in your Blizzard which could be brutal. I think if you're not sure what to use any strong weapon will work just fine. I would use something that allows you to be mobile and reload quickly so you can use your abilities on a whim.

I'm gonna do some testing with the weapons you advised and just pick what feels the best since i haven't min max my Viessa yet and don't feel pressured to do so.

Im still new to the game, mastery 12, up to the desert map in story, is it even worth trying to build these late game builds at this stage? Should I be focusing on a boss or mob farming build?

@@KenseiTamasii Oh yes. It is pretty static for each boss and just matches their HP assuming it's a solo run. There's some fan sites that show the HP of each boss if that's the info you need.

Problem with that weapon is the perk, you have 50% chance of it to work, really bad for a perk on a weapon
Super inconsistent. Having to win a 50/50 on whether the unique ability perk activates is horrible for actual gameplay. If you are going to chase fast clear times then maybe.

Which weapon should I use ? Is there better option than thundercage ?
Any weapon you're comfortable with is good. A lot of her damage is from abilities similar to Bunny so any strong weapon is a good choice. I would definitely go with something that lets you move around a lot and has a lower reload speed to allow you to constantly use abilities.
I'm here because I grinded out 38 hours for ultimate viessa. 38 hour grind, 17 hour part crafting and 36 hours to craft ultimate viessa. Next is ultimate valby.

In total, I farmed for about the same amount of time. The code was the real grind for me. I was very much over outposts after 123s getting Bunny. But I couldn't find a group who understood Molten Fortress, so I was left to farm with Shaz, the 75s. Grabbed 6 before going and opening them. Got the code on my last one then cracked a 74 open and got the nano tube for Secret. So I actually cheered quite loudly, at 2 am 😂😂
How does hypothermia react with your build instead of cold blooded?

I would wait for Ultimate Viessa. She comes with 4 polarities built in so that will save you some time and investment. Also just never know what they may do with Transcendant Mods so if they make one of the Ultimate Viessa exclusive ones much stronger you'll want to have her for that.

I dont understnad why you use much skill cd with ablsolute zero. I mean yes, you can spam your skills more often, but in this case why dont you use cold bloodeness if you wanna spam your abilities.
IMO you take absolute zero to use your 2nd skill and deal damage with it.

why not focus on tech, go all in on blizzard? That is what I run on my normal Viessa and she is a beast at mobbing. My reactor also gives me bonus to fusion and tech.
