Okay, but let's talk about where they actually made Mike get into a shower and the scene cuts to the three just standing there explaining the product. Best laugh I've had in awhile.
About the recipe book, I have a scrapbook that my Nana made for my Granddad when they realized the cancer wasn't going away and Granddad would need to be able to cook for himself. It's what I would save if the house was on fire. I have started my own scrapbook that has recipes from people who have now passed on. For people that love to cook, having those recipes from people you love is an absolutely irreplaceable thing. Everyone should start one.
What a lovely memory you have from your grandparents. We agree, these family recipes shouldn't be lost, it's a great way to connect with those we love who are no longer with us. Keeping their memory alive through the sharing and enjoyment of food 🥰
@@SortedFood in my book, I have recipes that my fiancé's grandmother wrote down for me. She passed less than a year after she wrote that. I don't think it's something he had ever considered doing before but I know he appreciates that I can still make her corn pudding. My advice, start gathering, and do it quickly. I also have a bunch of magazine recipes and my own recipes. It's a good variety.
I have a very similar thing, except it's a small "book of life". It includes the most adorable tips with hearts and smileys, like "Don't forgot to dust behind and on top of the books in the shelf!" Still makes me miss them to bits every time I read through it
@LJ Productions…..I have been missing the “weird stuff “ too!! I know it was mostly because of COVID, but I was also thinking they were trying to go in a more mature direction.
@@mistressblush4233 I mean just look at the current into. Stale, lifeless, minimalist, boring. Not saying that this describes the channel, but certainly they're a lot 'safer' feeling these days. I miss the gooey middle (let me bake).
I had to stop five times for giggle fests. 1. Ebbers' sweater. 2. Ben fixing Jamie's sweater. 3. The initial shower part. 4. Barry finally getting his proper cloud egg and that coming full circle. 5. The lead into and the blooper itself. A very happy good present of a video!
Mike’s innocently ecstatic face at the Slush Puppy Machine was a Christmas Joy to Behold..! It reminded me of James’ frenetic & childlike unwrapping of presents… Mike’s face was absolutely my favourite moment…! (The shower was def a close 2nd… :)
Ben trying to keep Jamie's sweater from falling apart is literally me at my life right now ahahahaha Absolutely adore all of SORTED's video concepts! Even though we've seen lots of reviews on the channel over the years, I still get so excited every time a new one is uploaded haha
it would be mine reaction also. the joke is I never got really enthusiastic about the slush puppy to eat it. However I could watch those big machines turning and turning for hours.
The gratuitous shower scene was wonderful! Best present yet...from the cheesy bow-chick-a-bow-bow music at the beginning, to the 3 of you standing in the shower with him, fully dressed. Marvelous! Encore!
Thank you so much for the joy of watching Michael shower with a substantial audience… and for the end. You’ve pulled a blinder again! Joyous treat of laughter.
just a head up with the slush puppy machine, use apple juice. the flavoring will cut through the apple juice and it freezes better with less separation.
The Slush Puppy maker is sooo nostalgic. My mom was the lunchroom manager at a private church school and they had one in the lunchroom that kids could get with their lunch. I was a frequent visitor/helper and I constantly drank Slush Puppies. Cherry was my favorite!!
The cookbook scrapbook is such a great idea! I have a 3 ring binder that belonged to my mom that is exactly what Ben described. Lots of recipes from magazines and newspapers but also bunches written down that my mom got from people. Now as an adult I treasure it since she died when I was a kid. It’s nice to have them and see her thought process as she wrote her notes and additions to the recipes
Omg this episode is so hilarious from Mike's shower scene, the 3 boys who did not find it strange watching him shower and the music that went with that scene and to Barry's cloud egg. You guys are so funny! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I was here before my notification! Christmas jumpers ranked: 1. Barry 2. Ben 3. Jamie 4. Mike Thanks for helping us get in the Christmassy spirit guys!!!!
Laughed so much! Ben really made out well in this one, but none of the gifts were bad, even the shower caddy was good for a laugh! I have a book I keep my recipes in and add to. One day my children will fight over it, so it'll be two gifts in one!
I would LOVE that recipe book. And the price is completely reasonable. I paid more than that for my bullet journal! It's a totally standard price for a quality blank book, let alone one that well organized with conversion tables and whatnot.
I’ve been watching a lot of Best Ever Food Review Show and it’s so interesting seeing how common and actually necessary it is for so many people in so many countries to smoke their meat. From Vietnam to South Africa, people in villages who live in stickbuilt homes and farm or raise crops don’t usually have a fridge or even electricity so it’s essential that they smoke their meats. Smokehouses are so common right by the fish market and at home they have special setups and areas just for smoking fish and meats so they’ll last for weeks. Then they either eat it like jerky or pound and rehydrate it to cook with. It’s truly a normal and required way that allows them to enjoy meat without it spoiling.
The Slush Puppie machine is super nostalgic for me! I didn't know it was in the UK as well, I thought it was a Canada only thing. We had a machine at my local Canex when I lived on the base.
The shower clip and the bloopers! Haha! That was awesome! My dad has a black cookbook that has all his recipes written in it. We joke a lot that we can use the cookbook and cook it to make soup it’s so stained! Now he doesn’t even need to look at the recipes. He just knows them by heart. 💚
My mother has 3 books similar to that size..STUFFED to the gills with recipes written in dozens of different handwriting styles from family and friends, newspaper clipping and magazine articles. Love those books!
Gifting the recipe book to the right person that Ebbers bought for Jamie would be a really wholesome and sentimental Christmas/Birthday present! It would be something that I would’ve loved to have gifted either of my late nan’s, because they were both very traditional housewives who cooked a lot, and this book would’ve allowed them to collate many important family memorabilia’s to pass down through the family rather than being left as distant memories that we never realised the importance of until it was too late
I remember my mother having a bunch of those "empty books" filled with recipes from her grandmother. Recipe pages from magazines, etc. It was the best way to keep recipes back in the day.
It sounds and actually feels like a cop out buying someone a recipe book or kitchen related book because it doesn’t feel like any effort was put into finding a gift for the recipient, but I love getting cookbooks as gifts because it gives me guided freedom and instructed creativity to try new things I wouldn’t without the book
The recipe book is a great idea for a wedding gift. Have each guest bring a recipe to add to it. The bride and groom have a great start to their kitchen as well as reminder of the guest who shared their special day.
I always get so excited when I see a new video and I am never disappointed. The shower is an absolute classic. I had to pause the video I was laughing so hard. You guys do seem to like to get your clothes off in Christmas videos. Keep them coming!

The table top BBQ is brilliant. The like the lunch sack too. I like taking coolers on toad trips but I need something compact when I travel. Bought something similar. Good for a meal or two if I don’t have a fridge but want fresh food or leftovers. I just add a cold drink for temp. And when Im done I can fold it back into a backpack or suitcase.

The sexy music... had me dying lol
OMG YES!! I came looking for this comment...i actually snorted...roflmao...
If they were Americans he would have worn swimming trunks for the shot.
Lol they are sorted in the shower
It’s very old school Sorted, and I love it 😂🤣😂🤣
My goodness… the cut to not one, not two, but ALL THREE of them standing fully clothed in the shower with Mike: brilliant.
Didn’t see that coming at all. Too funny.
That made me bust out laughing....we're all thinking "oooooof course they would" lmao
They take the "testing the product" part a little TOO seriously.
If they were Americans he would have worn swimming trunks for the shot.

Barry finally getting a proper cloud egg might be the best gift yet.
He was SO HAPPY!!
If only there was a pizza involved as well, it would be the most joyful day for him.
