- If you are having trouble with your contacts, don't worry! Here are some tips on how to put them in and remove your contacts!

Okay... just got my contact this week and all I can say is I'm SUPER frustrated. Today I tried without success three different times to get the bloody things in. Then, in a fit of total self-loathing, I told myself, "You can surely do this!" I went back and did it. But one of the lenses didn't go in right and I had to take it out. Needless to say, my eyes feel like a troupe of soldiers marched through them. I told myself I needed to find help... here I am. I watched your video and IF what I've seen here will work for me, I'll definitely let you know. I'm at work now and will try this when I get up tomorrow. Your method looks easy and I'm hoping beyond hope that I can do this.
I totally understand and have been there before!! When I had to do the contact training, I personally couldn’t even get it into my eyes. 🙃

@@Bbslilbites is it bad to pinch your contact out where the pupil is? Cause I know in the video you said to slide it down a bit and get it from the white of your eye but I can only do it from my pupil so far /:
Nope! As long as it doesn’t hurt or isn’t uncomfortable then you’re fine! I just tell new contact wearers to slide it down because it helps them to stop blinking when taking the contact out.
Thank you for this video! I have struggled to put in contact lenses since forever and did it half an hour after I found your video. Taking it out was also so easy with your method. I’m using contact lenses for my wedding so being able to put them in myself makes me really happy. Will continue practicing and hope I can do it as fast you one day! 💕

It's great you only need 1 hand to do this - no need to pull the upper eyelid up.
Yay!! I’m glad this was helpful! Pulling the upper eyelid up never worked for me. I feel like in a way it made my eye feel smaller so it was harder to get the lense in.
Ive been watching ALOT of videos on putting in and taking out contacts, and this video by far is making me feel the most confident. Thank you.
I walked out of the eye doctor this afternoon with contacts and the best vision in 4 years. 6 hours later I attempted to remove the right contact and have been fighting contact removal for about 45 minutes. I was able to use the Qtip method and removed it on the 3rd attempt. Thanks for these tips - not having to pry my eye open (top & bottom) really helped it to be more comfortable.

I've now come to a point where I can put in/take out my contacts easily. I actually managed to create my own methods with inspiration from your video. I discovered my problem prior was standing far away from the mirror.

This video really helped me. I’ve been struggling with removing my contacts since getting them. Particularly my non-dominate left eye side. First time I cracked a lens, second time I have no clue how I got it out, I ended up losing the lens and irritating my left eye a lot.
Spent the last 3 hours trying to remove my left lens tonight, and came across your video. I was able to get it out within 15 minutes, for both eyes. Really solid method that works for me. I genuinely appreciate you, I was contemplating just going back to glasses indefinitely. Feeling real hopeless lol but Imma keep trying. This method wasn’t as hard for me as some other videos recommend.

Awesome video! I've been wearing contacts for 47 years! Ouch... hurts to write that. I switched to some new lenses recently and for some reason had issues getting them out. It took me 20 minutes to get one out! But with your methods, no more problems! Thanks so much for taking the time and for the excellent recommendations. I haven't had to try the q-tip method, but that is an awesome idea.
I struggle with pulling my eyelid up and most of my lashes get in the way. Will definitely try your tip on putting it in 🙌🏻

I found this video/tutorial extremely helpful and super simple. I could not get contacts fitted 4 days ago and left office defeated and in tears with instructions to watch contact vids on TH-cam. I watched one other video before finding yours and I knew right away that your method would be successful for me. The Q-tip method was so useful because when they were training me to take off my contacts I physically couldn’t because of my naturally long nails and they told me to cut them off right then and there and well let’s just say I now have my thumb and index fingers nails cut down super short 😭
I had to cut off all my nails as well before I figured out the q-tip method but you definitely have to be safe with it so you don't hurt your eyeball. I would have been so sad too if they made me cut off my nails right then and there because there are other ways like the sliding method to get that contact out. 😭

I have been struggling to put them on.
They dont stick to my eyes.when i tap on them, it gets inverted.when i wet it completely, it sticks to my finger and if i keep it dry, it doesnot stick to eyes.
I have been trying for 3 hours now.nothing works. I blink too much. When i look away while putting it on, its lower part rests on my lower line of eye and then either falls or gets folded on blinking
It may be the angle you’re going at towards your eye, since it isn’t sticking or get inverted. Make sure the contact is resting on the outer part of your finger on the side of your nail and keep your chin as close to your chest as possible!
Omg thank you, I was about to cry because for 3 days I've been trying and failing to put on the contact lenses. With this technique, it worked after a few minutes.

Dailies are SO hard to get out. I even struggle with them. They’re so slimey, it’s so hard to get a good grip on them with your fingers to pluck it out.

I just got contact’s yesterday. Took me over an hour to put them in at the doctors office and took me a little over 30 minutes by myself this morning. Took you like 5 seconds. I wanna take 5 seconds 😫 lol you make it look SO easy. Lol today was my off day from work so I had more time to put it in but tomorrow morning I have to work so I will try your method and hope it works! Lol
Update: so I also attempted the method of removing the lens and that definitely worked way easier than it did for me last night when I first removed them!! It’s only 5pm but I wanted to go ahead and try early so I won’t be stressing about it later tonight. Lol plus I’ve been wearing the contacts since almost 9am. Lol

Sending this to my Son, he’s new to contact lenses, he’s having trouble putting them on. I wore contact lenses for many years, it will get easier, just keep trying, don’t give up . I got to the point that I didn’t even need a mirror to put them on. just have patients and u guys will get it.

To mention i have real bad reflex and my eye always closes only little time after practise i managed to hold on little longer and tadaa i could do it😭😭💜

Ok...SUPER Successful! Never was I able to wear contacts. Found this video, walked into contact fitting today & walked out with my contacts in 30 minutes--I AM SO THANKFUL TO YOU FOR THIS TUTORIAL! (PS...the Q-tip trick scares me a little 😳😀)
