That's awesome. I would have loved to have been able to watch that movie like that. It's sweet to see how many people still love the movie. Thanks for sharing this with everyone.
At the beginning of Jordan Peele’s Us, when they’re on the boardwalk, there’s a line “you know they’re filming something by the carousel, you should see if they’re looking for extras”. Which of course has to be a reference to The Lost Boys.
So rad, I visited Monterey a couple years ago and when I realized how close I was to Santa Cruz, I had to drive down and visit the boardwalk. Huge Lost Boys fan all my life!
Sean, what a cool preview of things to come!! Can’t wait to see the Lost Boys Hallowed Grounds episode!!!! Lost Boys in my top 5 movies of all time. Someday I wish to make it to “the” boardwalk!! 👍🎃🐈⬛😎🧛♂️
I bet that was fun. The vibe must've been surreal, being surrounded by the filming location and watching the film. I wish I could have been there. You did a good job of capturing the atmosphere. Thanks for the video.
One of my favorite things to do here in Santa Cruz. Glad you could make it out! Great view from your hotel room. 👍 I live right up the road near "grandpa's house".
I've been to a few of these and was up from Monterey to see some of the filming back in the day. And dozens of concerts on the beach since 1978 to present. Santa Cruz (Rasta Cruz) was such a great backdrop for The Lost Boys movie. It was in itself a character, that played so well into the magical lure of the film. Thanks Sean. Such cool nostalgia.
I grew up in San Jose and spent ALL my free time on that beach. Living far away now (and feeling super homesick) so thank you for giving me this wonderful glimpse of home. ❤
I had NO clue they did this until I found reference in another youtube video about the Lost Boys. So cool !!! It's coming up 8 days from now in 2024 so I won't make it but you can bet I'll make it next year. Thanks for sharing your video, it shoes it's busy but not overwhelmingly so. As always, thanks for sharing.
Goosebumps! I was about too see this😲 I was watching a french channel and there was this guy walking by in a footage in Paris whistling the song People are strange and i thought right away about The lost boy's 💖💖💖🔥🔥
Oh man!! Thanks for this Sean. I know it's a snippet of what's to come but I enjoyed. I need to make the trip next time they do this...looked like a blast and TLB is one of my favorites
So freaking awesome. I have never been to one of these and they have been doing them for several years now. Thanks so much for sharing. You rock brother
The Lost Boys jacket video was the first one I seen of yours and I’ve been binge watching ever since…. I also wake up almost every morning and immediately in my head is your opening song…. Then throughout the day, I catch myself singing it..
sick mann ...luv the boys..i was born in 95 but homies in the hood use to talk about it ...this and 'dusk till dawn' my fav movies /....luv from Cleveland Ohio
That is awesome! Thank you for that. I got goosebumps. That is something I have to do one of these days. I could feel the atmosphere through my screen. Just wow man.
Wow that looks like fun. Okay, am I the only one who got the Lost Boys reference in the opening flashback of Jordan Peel's US? Man yeah I'm on the same page as that guy there to see the screening. Seems like yesterday was opening night. Every joke landed, my gf ended up in my lap for the scary parts, the soundtrack was amazing. No movie juggles laughs and scares like The Lost Boys. Yeah, plenty of horror/comedies, but few can juggle both in the same scene. IT tried to be Lost Boys, and imo it kept the film from being a 5/5
So cool!! I may be wrong but I think that's Billy Wirth & Corey Haim sitting & Brooke McCarter standing at the front in the wall pic of people watching The Lost Boys on the beach. I know those side profiles anywhere!😄😍😍
That looked fantastic. would love to of attended that event and a showing of JAWS on the beach sometime. Brilliant my friend. look forward to your longer lost boys video soon.
You should be wearing one of the jackets there! How could you not? I was there last summer at the beginning of August. To any Lost Boys fans, you gotta make that pilgrimage.... it's worth it. 👍
I tried doing this summer of 2019. It was too cold and we went home. Luckily, I lived within walking distance of the Boardwalk at the time. Good memories.
I live in Santa Cruz. I'm surprised i didn't see you at the screening. I never miss it. I was wearing my Marko jacket. Im so jealous that you have the real jacket. 🤘🤘 oh shit !! You were right behind me i was sitting on the stairs . I can even hear myself in your video howling because i have the same video of the movie starting lol
"I don't like horror comics" ....... Awesome video Sean. The Star and Michael cos play was pretty cool. Can't wait to see what's next. Stay safe brother
Really looking forward to the Horror’s Hallowed Grounds Lost Boys episode that’s going to be so great. Lol 3:00 first time I’ve ever seen anybody wearing my hat lol awesome
Sean, just recently found your channel and dig it. Have you ever covered or went to the location of the 1985 movie “House”? One of my favorites growing up!
Awesome video always enjoy your vids was wondering if you would ever do a my best friends a vampire locations vid looking forward to your next vid keep the great content coming
Be awesome to just see the boardwalk let alone watch The Lost boys there too! Bet all those people had no clue there was a horror legend there watching it with them.
What would be super cool is if they had park staff kind of line the outside of the audience (or tape off) along the beach side of the audience and then right after grandpa says his closing line, vampire actors on motorcycles sped down the beach towards the south (or train bridge end).
One thing about Sean Clark videos I never could stand - all the damn copyright strikes. The Barnard Hughes of horror fans. Look forward to the Lost Boys location vid.
I am sure that place is not what it used to be in the 70s and 80s not even close but at least is still there probably not for long enjoy it while you can.
Wow. I got goosebumps watching this. A timeless classic that will live forever ❤️
classic 80s...
Hey Sean we all appreciate everything that you've done for us horror heads 😊....thanks buddy 👍 🤘
That's awesome. I would have loved to have been able to watch that movie like that. It's sweet to see how many people still love the movie. Thanks for sharing this with everyone.

One of my favorite movies. I seriously watch it at least 5-7 times a year since it came out. To watch it on the beach in Santa Cruz would just be epic
So rad, I visited Monterey a couple years ago and when I realized how close I was to Santa Cruz, I had to drive down and visit the boardwalk. Huge Lost Boys fan all my life!
Truly awesome. I thought Tim Capello might have come out at the interval 🎷
Damn I'd love to watch The Lost Boys, on location! Awesome balcony view
Thanks for this Sean!! It would be so cool to watch the movie at the beach and then look to your left and see the boardwalk and the rides!
The theme song pulls shivers up my spine. What an awesome experience this would be. Thanks for sharing the Vibes.

Live across the street from the boardwalk, cool to see you hanging out here! So much lost boys history
What an awesome experience that must’ve been I could almost hear “ I still believe!” in the background! So cool!
One of my favorite things to do here in Santa Cruz. Glad you could make it out! Great view from your hotel room. 👍 I live right up the road near "grandpa's house".
The Lost boys is the greatest vampire movie on Earth and the soundtrack kicks ass
I love they do this playing the movie on the beach to keep reminder for new generation's
One of if not my fav movie soundtrack and one of my top 2 fav Kiefer Sutherland movies.

Never knew they did this, so cool. Crazy that many people show up as well....love it.

This is a great "amuse bouche" for the eventual Horror's Hallowed Grounds video. Can't wait to see it!!

Very cool. Also reminds me of the summer board walk concerts there. Great turn out and cool to see people enjoying it together.

“It’ll be The go to lost boys video” - the Grimm life collective: “hold my drink”
I didnt realize how beautiful that area actually is. It's great to see the pier. Nice that you use a gimble for your phone, very smooth shots.
I would love to go there just for this. That is so awesome.

Awesome! The Lost Boys was my 2nd Horror Film I was allowed to watch. When I was 7 years old in 1987. Hellz Yeah! Great Soundtrack as well!
Curious but what was your first?

@@JinxDClown Great idea.
I was an underground producer (and musician) for 28 years. The copyright stuff still blows my mind. We're so far past that shit in 2023..... just wow.
Now that's the way you make a good vampire movie.
That looks awesome 😮, too bad I live in the uk😢.
I seem to remember grandpa saying "all the god dam vampires" at the end but he actually dosnt 😮😮
Love that movie, miss Corey Haim. 🌹🌹RIP🌹🌹
Very cool!🤘🏻
Very cool Sean.
One thing about Sean Clark videos I never could stand - all the damn copyright strikes. The Barnard Hughes of horror fans. Look forward to the Lost Boys location vid.
Im old. I watched it at my local theatre when it first released in the uk. Only me and my 3 mates were there.
