Jay u need to do a catch and cook paella with prawns lady crab lobster and brown crab something different or will you burn the rice on the bottom 😂 chief smash could rescue it with sweet chilli sauce tho 😂
Hi Jay. All I can assume the creature could be, is a sea mouse. Maby Google sea mouse and let us know? I have only seen one. They are strange little things.
@@SMASHFISHING Hi Smash , apologies I since checked up , and unbeknown to me the law changed in 1997 apparently. At one time we were only allowed to harvest the velvet crab from September to end of April.once again apologies.
Awesome forage jay when you gna do the catch and cook on the beach like you used to ? I liked watching them videos back in the early days when you got the stove out behind what ever you could find at the top of the beach 👍🏻
@@SMASHFISHING can’t wait man just straight up off the beach in the pot or on the bbq 👍🏻💪🏻 won’t be long and little man be out with you foraging showing you how it’s done 😆😆 they grow up quick lol
I think that was a hairy sea slug. I would be careful with them if it was as they are toxic. I don't think they are dangerous to humans but I don't want to find out either lol.

- Thanks for sharing bro. Really do wish you made a video cooking that fish as well !! ❤
Common sea slug (Aeolidia papillosa) aka the sea mouse.
Nice one Smash. Those prawns look delicious.
I think you might benefit in these types of vids, from a stronger, wider spread torch fella
That spider crab at the end was like, "Just show myself out, shall I? Lovely evening, show myself out...please."
i can not beleave how cold our nights are at the moment. feels like october
Awesome brother, night foraging is the best of the best. Please stay safe out there
Take 2,good catch ! Great teach on eating that crab👍🏻
Glad to see someone wanting to munch on the velvet swimming crab, I mean if you get them in size and number.
It's snack time.

A nice prawn curry for a catch and cook 😍😍💪
Made my mouth water eating that crab thanks for the video 👍👍

Great show 🎉
I believe the sea slug is a Hairy Sea Hare(bursatella leachii).
Great video again smash
Hey smash the Sea slug is possibly the Grey sea slug (Aeolidia papillosa)
A great night's foraging. However you definitely need a much brighter lamp you can't really see anything it's much too dark.
Swimmer crabs are really loved marinated in soy and other seasonings, served raw in Korea.

Smash seems like something of a well-behaved pup, but your apparent trashcan on the counter suggests otherwise 😊.

It's June for God's sake, still wearing a hat fit for winter.
I get climatized to the weather 😂
Hi Smash , a rule of thumb in Guernsey you should not be taking Lady crabs unless there is an R n the month.
Why is that ? Iv never heard about it before mate
Can’t find anything in sea fisheries either
