Anything is good when you’ve been busy for hours 😂 it was solid 1 time since I had been shopping for about 2 hours there, I then went on a random day just to make sure I wasn’t tripping, & it was just because anything would’ve been good at the moment lol that food sucks
swede here, the cranberry jam is actually lingonberry! it has a similar taste to cranberries but more bitter, and are often paired with meatballs here!
Okay, so I've never been to IKEA ever. Lowe's, Bed Bath and Beyond. Kohl's, Macy's Dillard's and other department stores but I've never had the urge to put together a 256 puzzle piece of furniture. Maybe just maybe they sell/serve the food just because they know you have to do separate installment plans when you're building or installing your furniture. Or maybe they're just nice. I'm not sure if it's that hard to install or put together their equipment or furniture. I've just heard stories. I put my sisters and my niece's chair together, the instructions said 30-45 minutes but took me 3 hours to do both. They were not from IKEA, so I can imagine. Then I made her bring me to Whataburger. That was a whole mini job and I needed lunch.
Meatballs are terrific the basic ass mashed potatoes are a perfect delivery vehicle for them. The cake is just a really nice texture thing like you said, I didn’t taste any strawberry there either but I guess that wasn’t the point of it. And it looks pretty.
Gotta have the meatballs whenever a stop is made to Ikea. Thing is though is to not get them at the restaurant, but the little cafe at the exit. They taste a LOT better at the cafe than they do from the restaurant
What’s up if you enjoy S.Johnson reviews also check out djstatic’s playhouse!! www.youtube.com/@djstatic72. I hung up my headphones and pick up a spoon!! Take a peek!!
My kid and I hadn’t been in awhile. We both agreed that the kiosk system sucks. We preferred the old school cafeteria style they used to have. The meatballs dipped in the lingonberry sauce and a little gravy give you a really nice sweet and savory counterpoint. But going out of my way to eat there? Nope. And, yes, the tendies are beyond basic.
If you're ever in northern California, check out Rich Plate café!! It's the best brunch place I've gone to in Cali, and I'd love to see your thoughts on it. I always ordered the Richplate special on the breakfast menu, with pancakes and sausage!
Haven’t been since a child but ikea good be hittin. Maybe it’s the shopping hunger I dunno 🤷🏾♀️ but Sam’s club should be next if you didn’t already do it
No salmon or cod? Also the veggie meatballs used to be a lot better, they changed the sauce and I am forever disappointed. If you go back get the chocolate almond cake.
This was so funny but I actually like their food On that note I tried those biscoff ice creams you loved and I thought they were way too rich. There's such a thing as too much flavor you know
This reminds us f the store Kreage back the day my mom used to go, it was similar to when Kmart was around and they too had a cafeteria style lunch room.
Yeah, the food is basic, but it hits the spot after all that shopping (and arguing with your partner 😂). If I were with you, I would’ve pushed you towards the veggie meatballs made with pea protein (if they sold it). They have a similar meaty texture and have flavour. You were 100% correct on the veggie ones you did try, though. They’re nasty.
IKEA is hit or miss with their food. They have ribs occasionally and they aren’t bad. Seasoning is ok and the sauce is basic. But the meatballs are what I go for. They might have shorted you the gravy that elevates the dish…I didn’t see any on the plate. It’s not for everyone but I dig it 👍🏽
When my family and I go to IKEA we always start at the food court…we always enjoy our lunch. BUT we don’t fxk with them cakes… around covid time we seen a little girl take a cake then brought it back and put it right back where she got it… We told the worker and they never took it out… im like never again… to this day I don’t know my they don’t wrap it.
At least where I live, they also serve food in line with the local cuisine and its not amazing but good. The meatballs that taste decent, tasted better elsewhere.
Sir, Ikea is NOT a furniture store. Yes, they sell furniture like Amazon sells books. Open your eyes and your mind!! Towels, rugs, live plants, plates, curtains, cinnamon rolls, lighting, flooring, ovens, art, candles, kitchen cabinets, swedish candy, tools, and meatballs. The only thing they don't sell is pants.... yet 🎉
Those meatballs be hitting when you’ve been shopping all day😆
Anything is good when you’ve been busy for hours 😂 it was solid 1 time since I had been shopping for about 2 hours there, I then went on a random day just to make sure I wasn’t tripping, & it was just because anything would’ve been good at the moment lol that food sucks
😂😂😂😂
Ate there before.....ribs and chicken fingers were bland and i said i won't ever eat there again .....bland....... bland ......bland tasting food 🙄🤣
I Know Bae , meatballs that hit hard 😮
No
Seasoned with thoughts and prayers😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Took me out
🤣🤣🤣💀💀💀
swede here, the cranberry jam is actually lingonberry! it has a similar taste to cranberries but more bitter, and are often paired with meatballs here!
you gotta put the lingonberry jam on the balllllllzzzzz
PAUSE! but facts! 😂😂😂
😆😆
Absolutely!!
And gravy on the Mash. That's how it's designed to work
"What's with the meatballs??"... It's IKEA dude, that's what they're known for 😂😂😂
Pumpkin, squash and the Earth 😂😂😂 what a mix 🤣😂
The fact that he didn't try the meatballs WITH the lingonjerry Jam is criminal. The stuff is served together for a reason!
He has to go back and do it right.
He went to IKEA wondering why they were so dominant on meatballs. What gave you the idea he'd know anything about Swedish food pairings?😅
@@minilea144 Especially in the US where we associate fruit with white meat (chicken, turkey and pork).
IKEA food hits every time. Yes it's not a flavor bomb. But it's comfy.
I absolutely love your reviews! Because so many people have certain allergies and medical issues can’t really lay on the seasoning like we would like.
Brother you are hilarious. .. seasoned with thoughts and prayers , priceless! I am stealing this!
“If I were hungry I’d eat them, but I’d never pay money for them again!” 🤣🤣🤣
“And the Earth” 😂😂😂
So, meatballs and fries. Got it. Lol
Right. 😅😅😅😅
And the smoked salmon salad!
The lingonberry sauce hits with the meatballs if you ask me😭
"it's truly a talent to be able to remove the strawberry flavor from f****** strawberries"😂🤣😂🤣😂
Not seasoned with thoughts and prayers!!🤣🤣🤣
Bae u white or black Bae
Pumpkin, squash and the earth 🤣🤣🤣😩
Man, I've gone to Ikea just for the food before. Walking and looking at the stuff after was just for exercise😂
I went on Veterans Day…them meatballs hit
@@darnellhagood1052 I'm trying to tell you! Them meatballs with the mash potatoes and the gravy on everything? I would take a plate of that right now😂
@@boujiebarbie3198 it was even better because it was free lol
@@darnellhagood1052 I gotta plan my next Veterans Day near one. I don't live near any right now. I got time to make some plans I guess😂😂😂
My brother my brother....gots to lotion up the elbows before getting on camera. Content still dope tho! 🤣
I thought he was gonna start a fire, rubbing them across the table
Haters. Why come on here. Talk shit. But that’s social media.
@@djstatic72 What am I hating on?
The way you describe this food though. Lol
I’ve had lunches at Ikea. You can also buy the meatballs in the food section.
Just got a lays add with you and Kevin heart. Just started watching your videos but I’m happy for you that you’re blowing up so much!!! Much love ❤❤
dude said seasoned with thoughts and prayers apparently hahahaha!!!
😂 The veggie dog and the cinnamon rolls at the quick food stand seem to be better than anything I’ve had upstairs in the restaurant in our Vegas Ikea.
I always eat at Sam's club and Costco because they have the best pizza 🍕 and hotdogs but I agree 1:21 😂 random piece of garlic bread was 🤬🤬😂😂😂.
"This Garlic Bread was Shxt!"😂😂😂😂
Seasoned with what?? 😂😂😂😂❤❤ hilarious
dude said pumpkin and squash and the earth hahahahahaha!!!!
Their frozen section is excellent. They have a Swedish pie that is insane.
Had lunch at an Ikea in SoCal as I was there to get a floating bookshelf. That lunch area is the exact some design.
IKEA FOOD SLAPS🎉 THOSE SALMON BALLS & A BLUEBERRY SCONE😋🎉
Best voice ever!!!!!
You also gotta put the lingonberry jam on the bite of meatball and mashed potatoes
I've only had the frozen yogurt at IKEA. You are so brave.
Man show us if ya got furniture too
You have to get the Daim almond cake …
Both with chocolate and the original .
One of the best cakes they do
This man said the earth 😂

The northerner in me is clutching my pearls by calling that Lingonberry jam "strawberry" haha
Pretty sure those meatballs caused my hypertension
Meatballs are terrific the basic ass mashed potatoes are a perfect delivery vehicle for them. The cake is just a really nice texture thing like you said, I didn’t taste any strawberry there either but I guess that wasn’t the point of it. And it looks pretty.
Next time you go, you gotta get the smoked salmon. That shit is FIRE.
The meatballs/potato/jam dinner Is 👩🏾🍳👌🏾
Very funny! And your haircut look fly.
You are so handsome! I am so happy for your wife!
Gotta have the meatballs whenever a stop is made to Ikea. Thing is though is to not get them at the restaurant, but the little cafe at the exit. They taste a LOT better at the cafe than they do from the restaurant
IKEA is such an experience. The hot dog that one time was pretty decent. 😍😂😂😂😂

man I laugh so hard thur this whole video 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 this video was hilarious
They need to stick with what they do best, furniture 😂

The lingonberry goes with the meatballs ... and some gravy and it hits nicely.
They used to have Mac and cheese, but like good Mac and cheese with those meatballs!!!!!
I’m addicted to the meatballs. I go there only for the food sometimes.
Bae where at
The breakfast isnt bad for the price either!
Tonight for dinner I'm a making a 1.6lb Australian rack of lamb with caramelized onions and roasted peppers in the tallow from the lamb.
Meatballs, jam and French fries- got it!
Seasoned with thoughts & prayers took me out!!!😂😂😂💀💀💀
Took you out to where?
More meatballs. Lol
Haven’t been since a child but ikea good be hittin. Maybe it’s the shopping hunger I dunno 🤷🏾♀️ but Sam’s club should be next if you didn’t already do it

They call Panera a hospital cafe but ikea really is 😂
That 💩 looked like hospital food!!! 😜
This was so funny but I actually like their food
On that note I tried those biscoff ice creams you loved and I thought they were way too rich. There's such a thing as too much flavor you know
They assembled the food too.
This reminds us f the store Kreage back the day my mom used to go, it was similar to when Kmart was around and they too had a cafeteria style lunch room.
I was hoping you would try the daim cake. So good!
They have the cheapest breakfast anywhere.
DAM look at those prices. six bucks for a slice of cake, ten bucks for some meatballs, gone are the days of a cheap lunch while shoppin i guess lol
I still want to try it. I'll just bring my own seasoning packets
Try the hot dogs and cinnamon rolls down stairs...I don't like them but I like to see when you don't like stuff😂😂😂
Agreed on all🎉
Yeah, the food is basic, but it hits the spot after all that shopping (and arguing with your partner 😂).

Ikea's flavored water is insanely delish.

Meatballs + Jam + Fries is the correct meal
Love going to IKEA, get the meatballs, with fries and lingonberry sauce, put some gravy on the fries. I'm going to IKEA
Lol. What's up with this places meatballs😅😅😅
When my family and I go to IKEA we always start at the food court…we always enjoy our lunch. Swedes eat Lingonberry with everything!
One would have to be completely desperately hungry and stranded in the middle of nowhere during a weather storm emergency.
The way I ran over here from IG 🤣🥰
I hate the furniture, so I definitely wouldn't eat there 😂
The Swiss are known for their "meatballs." If IKEA messed that up, it should be forced to close those stores.
That meatball 🧆 looks like kitty 🐈 💩 poop
I guess he's never heard of swedish meatballs, or else he wouldn't be asking why there's so many meatballs...
everybody knows, you get Swedish meatballs and fries and call it a day
it might have helped to learn something about Sweden at some point
Hell if I’m going to ikea and I get hungry I’m grabbing the meatballs (pause if necessary) and two slices of chocolate cake and call it a day
At least where I live, they also serve food in line with the local cuisine and its not amazing but good. The meatballs that taste decent, tasted better elsewhere.
I only had this meal on a 5th grade trip to DC and they took our class there to eat (obviously the budget was non-existent)
Them meatballs hit
You have to build the lunch yourself 😂
I used to stick to the chicken fingers and fries. IDK what kind of meat is in those meatballs.....😵💫
They have 3 kinds. Beef. Chicken or veggie. That’s what’s in them. Not mystery meat
u got to try the food from the black history museum in dc

Lingonberry sauce is so good
Looks like it tastes. I imagine the furniture would taste the same.
Did you try the lingonberry juice?!?! That is the real good thing there
Better in Sweden got schnitzel as well. The lingonberry is supposed to be eaten with the meatballs
