I'm so happy there are still videos and tributes being made about those movies. They might not have been the greastest, but they did not deserve the hate and trash-talk they got. Andrew Garfield is an amazing Spider-Man (and my personal favorite), Gwen is fucking badass, May is awesome, Flash is not just a mindless bully, Peter's and Gwen's relationship is so good and pure, Spider-Man has the best suit of all, I could go on. I just love those movies so much. I didn't even want to watch them at first, because, like a lot of people, I didn't like the idea of Spider-Man not being Tobey. But then I realised I couldn't judge them without actually seeing them. And damn I'm glad I did. I was so wrong. I love the movies and I love your video. Thank you so much for this.
All true!!! I was the same way for a while, but only because people kept telling me that these movies were trash and not worth my time. I finally watched the films to gain my own opinion, and After doing so, Andrew became my favorite Spiderman. I love that the fans of TASM are beginning to unite and make themselves known; it's truly amazing. :)
Nowadays everyone praises and loves Tom's movies but personally, I feel like out of all the Spider-Man movie series those are the worst. Spider-Man feels like a loser who can't do anything for himself. He doesn't have a sense of responsibility. I like Tom Holland as an actor, but damn they gave him a horrible script to work with. He genuinely feels like a comic relief character all the time. Andrew's Spider-Man on the other hand feels like a character that is learning, improving and growing as a hero and a person, and despite losing people he cares a bout he stills tries to be better to improve and do good for them, and I love that.
@@SirFrancisMill a strong spiderman fighting his own villains and a more capture on the character overall is my reason why the amazing spiderman was a masterpiece to me. I almost shed a tear when I saw andrew cross the mcu universe in no way home and im glad the writers gave him more dialogue and matched his character exactly the same as his stand-alone films.
gwens death is made even more heart breaking by the act that you can literally see gwens head still hit the ground regardless of the web if spidey had caught her two seconds earlier it would have been different
@@Justinhulk It would be weird having Spider-Gwen in NWH. Since all the other Spider-Men (Andrew, Tobey and Tom) had been fleshed out in their own movies and has been introduced, Spider-Gwen just popping up wouldn't be the best idea
This is the best tribute I have ever seen! This is so well made, and it makes people finally realize how heavily underrated the TASM series really is. I appreciate you for making this-
Being a hero has its costs, sometimes you lose the ones closest to you but that doesn't mean you should stop being the hero people need. Greatest thing I learnt from these movies.
Just because it isn’t dark, doesn’t mean he doesn’t have a story, homecoming was about him learning to be more than his suit, and far from home was about him not running from responsibility and stepping up.
Imma just say it, the bridge scene from tas 1 is my favourite one from the whole spider verse, the bridge was interrupted becoz of the lizard which peter helped in making, before the bridge scene peter had an arguement with gwens dad that spiderman is a hero not a vigilante, but at that point he wasnt a hero, he was a avenger he was just trynna avenge, but at that bridge scene when he saves the kid that was super powerful and it left a mark in my heart, what does it mean to be a hero, is it to catch criminals, revenge, or the courage to do.. not to do whats right or wrong, just do is it to help other people to get up or just help yourself to get up, hero is someone who gives courage to others, who gives hope, and after saving the kid and giving him to his dad he realises himself what means to be a hero, during all of this he didn't realize yet this was happening because of his help in the injection, well does it make him not hero then? he helped in the making of lizard with the mind of he can fix his arm, he was just trynna help with what he had, thats why the bridge part is so poetic and actually made me think was he a hero?
One word to describe this franchise would be: loss. This Spider Man suffered the most loss and emotional trauma than any other and yet he still puts that mask on and continues to save people.
the difference between this spidey and tom's spidey is that this one actually feels like a super hero, he gives hope to others, he stands for what is right even in his darkest times.
Damn this is truly great it deserves more likes I was obsessed with these movies as a child I waited soo long for the amazing Spider-Man 3 and it never happened which is the sad thing
Thank you Andrew Garfield for the memories (I love Tobey Maguire and Tom Holland but I have more memories of Andrew and I actually met him when the amazing spider man 1 was released)
Gosh I wish we got a third movie. They had it set up perfectly. We would still have had Peter in a pretty dark spot in his life, and then the Sinister Six would have appeared on top of that and came right after him considering Harry knows who he is. And Andrew’s Spider-Man paired with the black suit would have made for a deadly combination. I always wanted to see Andrew’s Spiderman go against the Sinister Six and especially Ultimate Green Goblin (Norman). And along with the epic musical score this series already has. It would have been a dark movie for sure. One can always hope
I actually Hope that after Spider-Man: No Way Home. Since Tom Holland Officially said he wanted to "Take a Break" From Spider-Man and I think acting as a whole, Sony should Make TASM 3 with Marc Webb and Andrew Garfield, and they should release an extended cut of TASM 2 with *EVERY* *DELETED* *SCENE* *RESTORED* in the film.
Get Marc Webb out the proposed story he submitted for TASM3 is one of the worst things I've ever read. Another director can show what the aftermath of Gwens death for Peters death better than he can do. Give it to someone like Chloe Zhao or something. I understand the studio interfered with Tasm2 alot but man Webbs dead wrong for tasm3. Andrew Garfield deserves better
His scene in no way home with MJ brought tears to my eyes. It was like him finally coming to terms with what happened to Gwen and that it wasn't his fault
This is the spiderman i know and love, the spiderman i really grew up, the films i think about when someone says to me spiderman, andrews portrayal(which is perfect) to me is just incredible. The villian choices were made rightly for his own life to go the way it did, in that lizard was a close friend of his who becane a mutated monster, in that he had to put his feelings behind him and take him down, then we have captain stacys death, another father figure he had to loose, along with uncle ben, then in the second movie they really focus on gwen and how her life is almist perfect until her tragic demise at the end, and the villians, electro, a man peter had to help, and peter had to desl with the feelings of almost forgetting someone, and also that scene of gwen and max in the elevator is a great showcase of foreshadowing, them going up, up to heaven in the end? Just a saying, also having to defeat his other bedt friend, harry osborne, just shows how much he has lost, now nobody can tell me these movies are bad, the movies are AMAZING Edit:and that scene at the end with that kid being inspired by spiderman to do what he did, man he is great.
Holy shit I loved this version of spiderman anyway but I feel like this collage of his time as spiderman has opened my eyes again to just how fantastic, how amazing it really was
I really love Andrew and Tobey for just this reason. Emotions-True Spiderman, Pain of handling responsibility, people dying because of you. When Andrew gave his mask to the kid for him to climb and then new Yorkers helping him reach to Lizard using those cranes, and the way he handles deaths around him. You really feel for the guy, I wish they give him his well deserved third movie
I'm going to be honest here. I used to dislike Andrew's take on Spider-Man because I was just so biased and attached to the Raimi trilogy. It was, after all, what I grew up with. In preparation for No Way Home, I have been re-watching all of the Spider-man live-action movies and holy s... I was so wrong about the TASM films. I shed a few tears after we finished the the 2nd movie...
These movies were very flawed, but like many flawed things they still had a lot of merit and don’t deserve the amount of hate they’re given. Andrew Garfield in particular could’ve been one of the best Spider-Man portrayals ever if he was given a fair shot. I hope the Spider-Verse franchise gives this series the treatment and the closure it deserves. When will we stop condemning stories with flaws to he ridicule pile? It’s like if there’s anything that someone doesn’t like it ruins every part of it for them. They don’t like a few things and so everything is bad? It’s so stupid.
That little kid stepping out to face Rhino all alone reminds, me of Captain America, standing up, ready to take on Thanos's army, without knowing help was coming. He truly was the bravest.
when i was a kid it was tobey's portrayal of peter/spidey aswell as the spectacular spider-man series that i grew up with and was fond of, but as i got older the rendition that i became really attached to was andrew garfield's. the tasm movies came out when i was in high school and as i look back i realised it felt great to see and find myself relating to a character around my age, like peter parker i knew how it was to be an outcast and get bullied, i knew how hard it was to lose somebody i was close to, and i also knew how it felt to have a lot of weight poured on your shoulders for your actions. so these two movies will always hold a place in my heart, and on a sidenote actually. i met andrew garfield at stagedoor when he did angels in america back in 2018, he asked me how i was, what my name is, and i showed him a photo of me cosplaying gwen stacy from years ago and he went “wow you looked so cool!” i also asked if i could get a hug since fans in line before me did and i eventually got it! he was really nice, and he made sure he got to talk to everyone even just for a bit too :)
I think the real reason why people hated this series is because this is not how they wanted Peter Parker to be portrayed as and also they were just not ready to face how realistic, raw, emotional and dark it was. Andrew really outdid himself in these movies with what he was given and I dont care what others say. He was, is and will be the best spiderman to me.
I am praying they make TASM 3. I absolutely love the series and it is criminally underrated. Best soundtrack of all time, best chemistry and best Spider-Man. If they make another I hope somehow Emma comes back as Spider-Gwen or something. I need to see that chemistry again

Anybody that says Andrew is not the best Peter and Spider-Man is in denial and never picked up a comic. 1 Peter wasn’t ugly, he was good looking and charming just a nerd. 2 in the film he does the awkward when talking to Gwen really well. 3 his web swinging and quips are the best. 4 his combat is the most Spider-Man like. You know this movie shows the real life...despite of your power, life can take everything from you because it has to make strong before giving you a bright future...the time it was on the screens MAY BE many people couldn't accept it...
He was alone. A lone soldier. Without the Avengers. But now he has Two brothers.
Something about these movies just make them great. The suits, villains, battles, its just...amazing
But obviously not the plot, writing, characters…
Gwen: Proves herself useful and helpful in both movies
MJ: Gets kidnapped in every single movie and keeps screaming like hell
Who else grew up watching the amazing Spider-Man which is the most relatable spiderman

They are great movies, and don’t let anybody tell you otherwise
They were the greatest
Spiderman was Spiderman, they ripped it straight from the comics and I cant tell you enough how much I'd prefer him in the mcu over holland.
The web grabbing her at that speed broke her neck and she did not hit the ground. Sudden stop in motion.
He honestly plays the best spiderman and whished he was in the MCU
Guess what?
Well well well

When Peter cryies out "Please! Pleeease!", I always feel pain in my heart.
Of all the Spider-Mans, this one is the most realistic in many ways.

oh, he id coming back in December 17. Spiderman 3.
This is why Tom never be better then Andrew and Tobey, they had more then iron suit, they had a STORY ❤️❤️❤️
Just because it isn’t dark, doesn’t mean he doesn’t have a story, homecoming was about him learning to be more than his suit, and far from home was about him not running from responsibility and stepping up.
well... about that
And no way home kinda just fixed Tom, give it 3 movies and I think with the right direction he could be better
Tom lost everything everyone

I really hope so too 🙏🙏
Get Marc Webb out the proposed story he submitted for TASM3 is one of the worst things I've ever read.
Just a saying, also having to defeat his other bedt friend, harry osborne, just shows how much he has lost, now nobody can tell me these movies are bad, the movies are AMAZING
Edit:and that scene at the end with that kid being inspired by spiderman to do what he did, man he is great.
Holy shit I loved this version of spiderman anyway but I feel like this collage of his time as spiderman has opened my eyes again to just how fantastic, how amazing it really was
Looks like alot of people agree after no way home... this comment aged beautifully
Andrew nailed the Spider-Man side of the character to the near perfection
After watching no way home. He has become my most favourite spiderman. The most underrated. And actually the most powerful too. ❤️
This aged amazingly
I'm going to be honest here. I used to dislike Andrew's take on Spider-Man because I was just so biased and attached to the Raimi trilogy. It was, after all, what I grew up with.
In preparation for No Way Home, I have been re-watching all of the Spider-man live-action movies and holy s...
I was so wrong about the TASM films. I shed a few tears after we finished the the 2nd movie...
Good to see you came to realise that this was one hell of a creation
THIS IS THE BEST THING I'VE EVER WATCHED. EVER. EVERYONE NEEDS TO SEE THIS. EVERYONE.
Best version and the most realistic.
This was so freaking emotional!!!!

AMAZING! JUST AMAZING 👏🏼👏🏼
Whoever says they hate TASM, they need to watch this video.
Can't stop rewatch this. There's so much feelings that's I'm almost cry.
when i was a kid it was tobey's portrayal of peter/spidey aswell as the spectacular spider-man series that i grew up with and was fond of, but as i got older the rendition that i became really attached to was andrew garfield's. the tasm movies came out when i was in high school and as i look back i realised it felt great to see and find myself relating to a character around my age, like peter parker i knew how it was to be an outcast and get bullied, i knew how hard it was to lose somebody i was close to, and i also knew how it felt to have a lot of weight poured on your shoulders for your actions. so these two movies will always hold a place in my heart, and on a sidenote actually. i met andrew garfield at stagedoor when he did angels in america back in 2018, he asked me how i was, what my name is, and i showed him a photo of me cosplaying gwen stacy from years ago and he went “wow you looked so cool!” i also asked if i could get a hug since fans in line before me did and i eventually got it! he was really nice, and he made sure he got to talk to everyone even just for a bit too :)
The part where Peter stands at Gwen's grave as the seasons passed just broke me.
He is, was and will be the amazing spiderman
4:51 makes me teary every time
Idc what anyone says... He is the best Spiderman ever
Andrew was a cool spider man.realistic when he got powers.have a good background story.
I am praying they make TASM 3. I absolutely love the series and it is criminally underrated. Best soundtrack of all time, best chemistry and best Spider-Man. If they make another I hope somehow Emma comes back as Spider-Gwen or something. I need to see that chemistry again
The whole thing i can define in one word "AMAZING"
OMG!!! this edit is on a whole other level, for me, this is a tribute to Andrew Garfield for portraying Spiderman so perfectly. I grew up watching Tobey Maguire's Spiderman, but this Spiderman, Andrew Garfield's Spiderman, taught me so much more!!
I respect both the Spidermen very much because Tobey Maguire's and Andrew Garfield's Spiderman have taught me the lessons that I need to be a good man in this broken world.
I am blessed that I witnessed both of these actors portraying Spiderman!!
I think Andrew was perfect as spider man but not young spider man like an older version a spider man who had been spider man for years
he was fine as peter and spiderman, its really a shame that the writing just didnt rise it up to the calibre that ppl where hoping for, i grew up with both tobey and andrew as spider man, but the amazing spiderman is still more memorable to me, as controversial as it is
this edit is crazy, seeing my favourite spidey with that music and all the stuff... the memories those films create on me, those feelings... Just fcking amazing video
The Best Spider-Man ❤
Best spider, the most human, the most accurate
This was the best spiderman no doubt. I don't no why it was not that much hit like other spiderman movies. It has the best love story in it
Really shows all the potential the movies, especially the second one just wasted.
Even though Sony tried to fuck it all up, the Amazing Spider-Man duo stands. Mark Webb did a good job.
Still the greatest spidey edit yet.
Idfc if the amazing spider man is hated and underated but THIS IS MY FAVOURITE
I watched this serie in 2012-2014 and i didnt watch it again until this time. I liked it when i first watched it in 2012 and i dont know why i suddenly wanted to watch this again. In my opinion, this is THE BEST SPIDERMAN serie ever. Andrew Garfield's unique actor skills, the best character designs, best storyline, best costumes, best enemies, best musics.... Everything was great, I am really upset about this serie replaced with mcu. In the end of the serie, spiderman was gone for 5 months and aunt may says *we really need that spider guy*. In 2021 June, We really need that spider guy too right now, we need andrew garfield to come back. There are some rumors about a spider-verse movie right now. Hope andrew could make it. I really believe that andrew showed us the real spiderman.
EDIT: HE FKIN CAME BACK
It’s awesome when you realize Andrew and Tom share a third film.

This video just hits so much harder after NWH.. the love and passion towards TASM is visible in this video, and it’s wonderful! Really well done, loved it!
this spiderman deserves a happy ending
Such an amazing video, I loved it. Great job!
The amazing spider man is amazing
Anybody that says Andrew is not the best Peter and Spider-Man is in denial and never picked up a comic. 1 Peter wasn’t ugly, he was good looking and charming just a nerd. 2 in the film he does the awkward when talking to Gwen really well. 3 his web swinging and quips are the best. 4 his combat is the most Spider-Man like. The one thing not Peter like is the skateboarding but it’s a modern day Peter so it works.
