- What is living in London like? This is my best friend's apartment in central London and this is her London flat tour! Enjoy!
This flat is in south London in zone 2 :) It has 1 bedroom, a living room, a bathroom, a kitchen and enough living space in London for 2. It's roughly 38 square metres large and to rent a similar flat might cost around 1500 pounds. If renting in London is not for you and you want to buy an apartment, a flat like this might cost around 300K pounds.

The law in the UK says you have to chip them. And you need to get them "fixed". And wormed and so on...
I Live on a narrowboat, and I'm a bit concerned about what could happen to a cat while I'm out and about... So I'm thinking it through atm...
If you do decide to get a cat, 8 weeks old is the best age to get one. You could adopt one from a home. Lots of cats need a new home..
So... there are options...
I've been in my flat for near on 10 years now. It suits me. Also it is around the same size maybe a bit smaller.

Thank you; it's sobering to realize that such a tiny flat is so costly. This one is done up nicely; it's just sad that if one's job is in London, one has few affordable choices. It's the same dilemma in all big cities around the world. I understand the attraction of Brits moving to France.

Good evening Sandy and Anja. The latter name is the same as the girl I was friendly with during my time in HB. Anja lived just into Niedersachsen. Her parents' home had four floors, including the cellar space which German builds utilise well. Stu. ☺ X 🇩🇪 🇬🇧
Very noisy but as you say, in a London sort of way. I have family in Westminster and it's always buzzing with noise and atmosphere, with so many attractions and transport opportunities with a few hundred metres. Sandy, please wish Anja 'viel Erfolg' for the upcoming move. Cheers, Stu. X

Kitty stole the show! Sandy u were upstaged. Fish has dodged kitty so far but will it always be so lucky? Kitty is free to attack at any time whereas the poor fish is stuck in a fishtank. It's tough to be a fish. :-)

This one bedroom flat is worth the same as my two bedroom detached bungalow, with gardens and garage, situated on a private road on the edge of a village, one mile from the best surfing beach in North Devon.
I know where I'd rather live!

London remains vastly over priced and over rated. £300k for a tiny box flat - utter madness or £1500 mths. Doesn't cost that much for a 4 bedroom house & reasonable garden where I am
