The laundry room is what we call in the country a cupboard.
They should’ve put a washer dryer in there so you don’t need seperate washer and dryer, thereby creating more space

One of my friends lives in that complex. It's apparantly got nightmare lifts that breakdown and rising service charges.

@@akane8615 I think it’s more river water, and they’ve had to fit booms on the river to stop it leaving just mud behind, so the waters more chance to disappear than getting drowned.

I used to live near there. That's not a river though, it's Millwall dock! I used to go to the Chinese floating restaurant often, which you can see just below.

Magnificent, one of your best tours yet. Great job explaining the property. Love the 2 level open look. The living room (lounge I guess you say) is great and those steps look great. Also love how they have the TV at the correct height for people sitting on the sofa. So many times you see TV's way up high on the wall which can lead to neck strain. Ideally, the center of the TV should be 42 inches from the floor. But enough about the TV, the big outdoor terrace is wonderful, probably better than watching TV - ha ha... The amount of windows and light really helps this property and gives great views. Looks very desirable place to be.
I read an article recently which highlighted how extortionate the yearly service charge fees can be for these types of properties. One poor resident said it felt like a second mortgage! a real eye-opener. Really nice place though. 👍

Yup its always missed, costs me 500 a month which is as much as some peoples rent in the UK.
@@mitchellbooth9332 they do the old trick too of setting it low until most of the plots are sold then ramping it up over the next few months

1.5 million for this apartment in Canary wharf is an incredible deal. Whats the catch ? Only downside is the Master bedroom seems much smaller that the kid's room.
They added extra built in wardrobes. The one down the hall was not enough.
And lack of privacy balcony etc

Very good value. Usual British apartment problem - tiny bedrooms - but that location, that sqft-age and that level of fiinish - great deal. Suspect property prices might be depressed in Canary Wharf as a lot of people not working in the offices any more

Great price for the space. Would be interesting to know common charges. The principal is a bit small. Not sure I could get over the full bathroom immediately inside the front door. Great outdoor space(s). Love your tours - thanks.

That actually seems a good price for the property and location. I’d buy it if it was what I was after. Only reservation is that the outside space is great but won’t be in use much of the year, during which you’re basically stuck in the modest lounge area. But still, nice.

Another one of the properties you’ve viewed I’ve seen on Rightmove over the last few weeks. It’s a great apartment and a great use of space. The bedrooms aren’t on top of each other like most other similarly or more expensive priced properties in London. One thing to note, is that the service charge and ground rent is approximately £800/mth. But the offset is security, views and one of the most amazing gym facilities you’ll ever see.

Yep! But, as I said the facilities and security make it worth it! Not too many 3 bed 3 bathrooms of this standard and at this price point in the area believe it or not.

This is a nice area and it’s really safe area because of lots of guards walking around the banks and offices around the building and the shopping centre is first class, plus it’s right next to the Jubilee line that takes you to central London

should note a lot of canary wharf properties got high service charges and council tax around £250 pm
single person council tax is £110/month at present, this is dependent of the area in CW your looking at of course
I think we should change the door of the principal bedroom to connect the dressing area and that saves some space for a tv set
Amazing apartment.
Lovely flat, the balconies are great. A shame about the tiny kitchen though....if you are right handed I think you would find that single sink difficult to use as it's boxed in by furniture..

Very good flat for London but recently i've moved from London back to Yorkshire. I have a rental flat in London and it absolutely blows my mind how someone would be willing to pay £1.5M for this when you consider what else you can get within England for a third of the price.

Lotus floating Chinese restaurant, Grand Cholan Indian restaurant, Pepper St Ontoid pub, DLR station,Tesco and Papa John's pizza all within literally stone's throw from the flat. But ya it's gotten pretty crowded in this area.
it's fairly quite right now due to lock down, it will be interesting to see how the area reacts as we come out of lock down

If the window/ door frames on the lower floor are in white rather than black/ grey, the indoor area will be more combined with the outdoor area. The feeling now is rather detached. Just personal feelings.

Is that the floating Chinese restaurant? I have been so drunk there. I am not a millionaire but I had friends round here. They lived in the council flats and tower blocks near by. Used to shop in Asda on the Island lol.
