    Thank you for the video. What's the name of that torch wrench your using.

      Glad it was helpful. I have the Snap on torque wrench and they are way to expensive I would buy something much cheaper if I were you

    Ja u Hondu sipam samo castrol power 1 racing 10w50 sto sipam i u sve ostale motocikle racunajuci i Busu i vozim je sve do blokade bez ikakvih problema,pozz odlican video!!!

    • @ScoutsOut
      @ScoutsOut  ปีที่แล้ว

      nice castrol je dobra stvar, obično volim da koristim ono što proizvođač preporučuje dok ne istekne garancija, hvala što ste pogledali video pozdrav!

    I could not even get close to the torque spec when I tightened bolts after changing oil so I settled on stopping the tightening effort upon feeling a hard stop for bolts.

    • @ScoutsOut
      @ScoutsOut  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Not a bad idea, torque specs on manuals can be off as my r7 says the oil bolt should be 30ish which is way to tight

    Great video. I have a 2019. The dealer did the 600 mile change, but I'm heading to the garage now to do a "seasonal" change (manual calls for every 8k after, no way would I ever wait that long). I wanted to view a video not so much for the how to (which was great) but just wanted to know the bolt sizes. Sure I can fit up on the fly, but having you state them in the video makes my work just a little easier. Thanks for taking the time.
    By the way, what brand torque wrench(s) do you have, and do you like them/recommend them?
    Thanks again.

      Awesome glad it was helpful, I won’t be waiting 8k either I’ll probly do every 5k myself. I have snap on torque wrenches and I love them, quite pricey though

    What kind of torque wrench is that with the electric unscrewing?

    • @ScoutsOut
      @ScoutsOut  ปีที่แล้ว

      The unscrewing was from a snap on 14.4 electric ratchet, but it is not a torque wrench. The torque wrench I used is also a snap on one. Hope this helps

    Hate when the oil spills on the frame down into the skid plate doing the filter, lean it over and it will spill away from the frame. Is that bike like the old CRF where the engine oil is sperate from the crankcase or is it a shared system like all the other 4stks now?

    • @ScoutsOut
      @ScoutsOut  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Haha yep should have put a slight tilt, wasn’t to bad though. No It’s shared

    What’s the star bit plug for? It’s right by the oil drain plug. I have a 2014 crf

    • @ScoutsOut
      @ScoutsOut  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Possibly a test port but really not sure, I think it would drain the oil too if you took it out

      Look in the Manuel for your temperature and what it requires. I would say yes if it’s for motorcycles but I would wait until the warranty is up, till then I would use exactly what the manual says to use. That’s just my opinion

    Don't you dip your oil filter in oil before fitting ?

    • @ScoutsOut
      @ScoutsOut  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      You could I guess, but the whole side of the case is going to be full of oil as you pour it in to refill
