The server I am playing on is Pacific Valley Roleplay, a vmenu based server with a very active staff team and player base. @@scottcampbell2027 you click M key on your keyboard then a Vmenu will open from there go into recording option then press start recording
How do you use EVE, Do you have it installed in your GTA Directory, load the clips in GTA and render them from there or do you have it Installed in your FiveM and render it from FiveM, If you installed EVE to FiveM, Could you tell me where the files would go?

So my only issue is, when i click spacebar to play, and then click esc to try and go back to edit camera or anything else it takes me out of it, makes me save and end. i don’t know if it’s me doing something wrong or what, please help
To edit markers you can click directly on the marker you want to edit or press "M" to make a new one. Esc only makes you exit so avoid pressing that.
I have a problem with rockstar editor, i record in fivem normal
Open record file in rockstar editor normal
Edit video normal
But cant export the video, always get stuck
I ask my community and they have a same problem to, we dont have good solution, but we can export after delete cache the city
Ok maybe mod/cache the city is problem, and we are play in other city and record new video for cinematic, and we have a same problem to (cant export)
So i try to reinstal GTA 5, Reinstal Windows, Reinstal FiveM, Redownload cache, ReRecord the rockstar editor, and the problem is not solved 😵

Hopefully you see this what mod gets rid the rockstar logo when you export in case i don’t wanna use the cinematic bars
I now record my screen with OBS so there is no logo. I do not export anymore
bro Im facing some issues while rendering rockstar editor video... the reshade effects doesn't apply in the rendered video it's just default graphics
Yeah reshade does not apply on any gta/rockstar videos
only enb and the other graphics inside of the game

Late response from me, but im starting to get into video editing for the server im in and would love some pointer.
How are you able to export without crashing?
I am using server version 2372 (Canary).
I have some clips. I edit them.
And when it's time to export, fivem crashes when it starts rendering
You need to record and edit on any version before 2372, for some reason the asi's for E.V.E arent loading on anything 2372 or newer
@@crunch9747 I don't currently use EVE. But my recordings are on 2372 and I can't export. So recording on 2189 should fix the problem?

Hi, this really helped, but im extremely confused about how to open the menu itself, like while your editing the clip how do you open that menu on the left?
You are going to press the "m" key, that is your marker. You only want to press it when you want to change angles and adjust your camera settings. Hope this helped!

Can you open rockstar editor while in a Fivem server or do I gotta launch gta to do it ?
When I export it from rockstar editor and go to my files there is not a rendering file and it just leads me to projects and I need it to go to a rendering file. If I don’t and I go trough projects I have to open it with some random things that won’t let me do anything and I’m just stuck and I have been waiting and wanting to do this forever
Where are you trying to find ur rendered videos
Next time just use move with camera so you don't have to keep moving the camera. Then after you have all your markers go back and remove the move with target option and shift your markers a bit.

Vmenu helps but you can try looking for the automated keys the default game uses to record. I think it is defaulted to F1

How do you start recording clips?
I have this issue where my map won’t lead correctly the further the camera in the rockstar editor is away. Basically the LOD is very short and I have no clue how to change it. Do you have any idea?
I would try messing around with your graphics settings and just increasing them to see if it can fix it. If not setting your game priority to high in your task manager might work too.
@@crunch9747 Believe it or not I just fixed it myself. I forgot I needed the opencamera script in my plugins folder lol

Thats okay, you can also launch directly from the FiveM loading screen prior to entering your server.

How is the video extracted from R* editor so it can be used in a 3rd party software?
Get a pc, the quality is better and the files are a click away. Otherwise, on PS5 you have to link a TH-cam acct then upload to there, then wait for youtube to finish the HD resolution, then download to pc for 3rd party editing.
@@Mofiac I have a PC, also videos saved and exported from Rockstar editor are stored in your “rendered” file on your PC. Heck of a lot easier than uploading anything to YT first.

It wont work in fivem at all you just can’t do it it will just crash your game or wont load when you go into the editor

Regular players can do it, all you do is record the clips in the server

Man I just can't get the car from instantly flying out of frame
The Rockstar Editor is really weird in the sense where when you use a smooth camera and place a marker, the frame has to be far in front of the vehicle in order for the camera to speed up enough to film the car. It is almost like you are aiming ahead of a car and hoping it'll land where you want it. In the video, I place the car in the frame how I want it but then at the end, I move all of the points in order to be ahead of the car. Really odd and takes some practice. I would recommend focusing on just a straight road shot to get the idea of how it works.
