Times have changed but people will always like a good old affordable pumper!

Outstanding that you included info on the people who used the acorns.
I have a book on how they processed them. Getting the tannins out after grinding and sifting was done by long soaks and water changes...this skill can get communities past hard times, EMPs, supervolcanoes (okay that last one might be a stretch but who knows). Food for thought. Good hunting!

Thanks John, I love these pumpers. I have the Benjamin 392 and the Senaca Dragonfly in 0.22 cal. Love them both. Also have the Crossman pistols with the add on stock in 0.177. All are extremely accurate and trouble free. I do recommend the steel breech add-on as the barrels will rotate with the stock plastic breech. Great fun video; I'm looking forward to the challenge of survival you will be doing. Hope you TH-cam it!

Great video...keep them coming...showing fun ideas with the 362. I'm 53 and recently got back into shooting air rifles during remote work because of pandemic. Started out with anew Red Ryder for backyard fun on work breaks. Brought great joy! Looking for new rifle, mYbe the 362...as I work my way up to German one.

What a great day in the woods, regardless of the tripod and expensive mishap..These really aren't terrible guns for the price, just need a bit of love. Looking forward to getting out with mine soon. 👍

Excellent review and video. Got to get me one of these. Its so easy and fun to do mods on these. Think I will do up a 177 version with the 24 inch barrel.

After tweaking the Crossman Fire .17 its pushing 18gn pellets close to 900fps and its not bad at the break barrel force to cock it...

      Good numbers from that airgun.

Good stuff, John! I always tell people that I would have loved to live during the "old west" ... but just for one day!!! --- Life was tough & short back then. Gray hair was scarce as hens teeth.

True that. But most folks now die and have never lived. It would’ve been interesting to be a fly on the wall in tombstone or deadwood back in the day. Thanks for watching and commenting. Merry Christmas to you.

It was an Honor to walk around with you. I am in agreement on all you said about Multi Pump Air Rifles. I am ordering up a Crosman 362. I am still sitting on the fence on whether my Seneca Dragonfly MKII, or Benjamin 392S, or maybe the Crosman 362 all 22cal for my Bug Out Bag. Remember that 40yds is also the max harvest range of a 12 guage shotgun on waterfowl. Walk quietly in the Wilds!

Great video 🙂👍. I really like the affordability of the Crosman 362 and the power it is getting. Too many pump rifles are in the 7 FPE range, but not the 362. Ps I have never had a problem shooting springers, even in very cold 🥶 weather 🌨️. I can decock all of my break barrel air rifles if after hunting for a few hours and no shots.

Great Job John! I think you and Dana made a great choice. Looking forward to the series! I wish Crosman would make a deluxe version with upgrades. What upgrades would you like to see and maybe should be mandatory in the next model?

Batman never revealed the location of the bat cave. Hunters don’t either. We put in a lot of dirt time to find locations. We study maps and explore to check out locations. Have fun with it. That’s the most important part of what we do. Thanks for watching my friend.

Hay John it would be great to see some pellet testing and maximum accuracy you can achieve in your backyard before you and Dana get together for your survival series! Try the Crosman 19g UHD pellets! you may be surprised.

Love your video, very fun to watch. Love my 362. Changed mine to fibre optic sights and it is my open sight pellet gun. Sixty two years old it need fibre to see now. Three pumps in my indoor short and 6 pumps for my 33 foot indoor range works perfect. CHEERS

299 without optics puts it out of the price range for this challenge.
