Why do you remove the imperialis from raptors? Is it a chapter specific thing? Love your channel, I have a debilitating disease, and the meds make my hands shaky. It's impossible for me to paint. I've built some primaris space wolves, the slayer, and a dreadnought. But just for fun and to look at. With this disease, considering it is fatal, I get depressed I always get a little happier watching you, is like watching a master sculptor and painter create masterpieces at the same time. @@TYPHON2713 they are the chapter that prefers bare bones armor and tend towards using camouflage, stealth and ambush tactics. So any extra emblems and trinkets are avoided to aid in that. They are also a chapter that has suffered a lot of casualties so they also don’t have a lot of spare armor for fancy stuff

I like to imagine it would look a bit like a challenger or an Abrams almost. Lots and lots of armour and pintle mounted weapons. Maybe use some thick bits of plastic card as ERA? Can also add a shit tonne of Comms equipment and also maybe ammunition storage for supporting infantry too
Go crazy with utilitarianism practical designs. Sensors positioned 360degrees around the body, multiple mechanical limbs, etc. Basically the Loyalist version of a Defiler.
A great kitbash, as always! A neat trick that you may find useful in the future: a scout shoulder pad fits perfectly into an aggressor shoulder pad, this way you can easily bulk shoulders without using putty (tested on my bladeguard kitbash). Cheers!
@@kaspersaldellwarhammer has always been about aesthetics above all else, just handwave it away by saying the force field generator is inside the armour lol it's not any worse than the original idea of justifying something so ostentatious by saying "but oh it can generate a force field!" to begin with
beautiful mini as always. I think that the land raiders would be interesting to see because of how uniform they are and how you could kitbash them into having a raptors flair
The Biologis would be top of my list to see. Beyond that the Land Raiders for sure, especially if theyre differentiated. I can imagine the utilitarian changes to the Apothecary pretty easy but still would be interested at what other modifcations and bits youd add. And pulling on your previous tank builds and painting, a Redeemer would be really exciting to see the changes. Cant wait for a full army showcase. This and the Dornian heresy are some really great long term projects mixed with your one-off builds.
Watching the army come together is such a treat, so I'm looking forward to whatever comes next. If you are looking for something more specific, then your work with tanks is always so impressive, so I'll throw a vote toward a Land Raider.

Raaaaaaaaaaaaptors! OOH-RAH! That's a great mini with a cool paint job. Gravis armour boots remind me of 1970s' platform shoes. I'd like to see some painted up as the Disco Gods; a lost chapter from the Cursed Founding.
I ADORE these sprues, ive used every single piece and option from the sprue after turning this guy into pedro kantor (relatively easy) ive used the sword from this sprue, the halo and the servo skull on making a terminator captain, i magnetized the sword and i even used rhe rock hes standing on for a diorama im doing.
I love your kitbash how-tos. Just FYI, captains no longer grants a use of a strategem for free, but they reduse the cost of a strategem by 1 CP! You can also not use the same strategem twice through this ability. Thanks for great content!

Going back to the Dorian Heresy -- how would you envision Dorn as the Chaos infused Praetorian of Terra? Does he cut his hand off nonetheless & it's replaced by Chaotic entities whilst his disembodied hand in his pain glove roams about as his familiar?
I'm curious to see what sort of magic you could work on those eradicators to "raptor"-ify them. maybe something like a mix of eradicators and eliminators where they all have sniper rifles instead of melta rifles? maybe kitbash the biologis to be a sort of "spotter" for the 6 heavy "snipers?" the 10 infiltrators would be cool too, but they already seem pretty similar to what raptors would want to be fielding in the battlefield so i'm not sure how much kitbashing would need to be done for them

A super practical apothecary bio would be interesting looking, although I imagine it'll just be a lot of removing gilding.

Yeah, stripping off a high-tech lightweight armour advantage like that is not very "tactical."
It was too ornamental for the aesthetic i think. I think cutting off the spikes would have done the job.

I got around adapting alternate shoulder pads for my captain by using the bare Corvus mark pads underneath as an anchor
