Looking at the tedious actions conducted over a single tyre, I would mention this blessed woman is driven by love towards her occupation. Nothing but love and faith is helping us to overcome obstacles, make accomplishments and achievements. I want to wish her good luck, health, joy and security! God bless you!
I’m not certain if it would be worth keeping the tire that bad. I would like to have seen a little bit more of the ending and inspection of the tire. Sometimes the videos don’t show enough of the four after repair great videos but just a little bit more of the after work. Thanks
Apparently all these "drivers" saying I'll never drive on that. You will and you have. It not a "patch" it's called sectioning. No, she just turned steer tire into a trailer tire, only position it can be used now. Not shown is the tread groove being dug or the balancing of the tire itself. That "patch" will outlast the tire.
That was my thought also. I'm not sure DOT would even allow it, if they found it. As someone else said, with a hole as big as she had created for the repair, there had to be some tire integrity issues.
I don't know where you live, from the way you spelled Tyre, I'm guessing the UK or Australia? Here in the United States, it's against the law to put a patched tire on the steering axle. It could go on the drives or trailer, but most companies wouldn't run a tire that bad. I certainly wouldn't run it on the drives of my truck.
I did alot of rubber tire repair. For over 40 plus years. First off all belts have been irreparable which can cause total belts to serperate. Is non repairable for general purposes. If repaired then sidewall should be branded for off road use only. No steering axle installation not for highway use. Big liability issue and it blows up and kills you or someone else that would not be worth jack . People trying to save money again o.m.g.
Stuff like this is done in China and India all the time. They make do with a lot less than we do. I have seen a lot of un repairable stuff repaired. Sometimes it works sometimes not.
I agree. But this is not in the US. It's a second world country where resources are not as cheap and readily available. Labor is cheap there as well . They do this also in these third world countries if you have watched enough of these tire repair videos. I agree with you I have had belts fail and tires bubble up and get all wonky after just a nail through the tire and it was plugged , not immediately but a year or two later.

wow! No safety rules in that shop. Her hair is hanging dagerously close to rapidly rotating machinery. That wire brush could end up brushing the skin off her skull if it grabbed her hair. 6:59
Yeah, for sure, nice job, only problem is the steel cords are destroyed in that area, the tire integrity is compromised and nothing you can do to fix that, the tire is junk, sorry....
Tal vez el neumático que de sellomático de nuevo pero ya no es apto para su uso ya que fue dañado en su estructura en una parte importantísima como es la banda de rodamiento literalmente ya no le veo un uso posible a ese neumático

That die grinder scoop is awesome. I'm glad I don't do that work anymore, but idof loved that when I did. I cleaned out hole on the side of the road once with a Buck 110. Your work is much cleaner.

Vice Grips also hold better if you turn them in the direction they were designed for. Good job cleaning out the hole so the new rubber would stick well.

Nice patch job. But i suspect the tires integrity has been compromised by drilling through the steel belts. There may be some thumping at high speeds. Hopefully this was a temporary fix and that it goes on the rear of the vehicle, not the front.
Not necessarily. You can repair tires with cut cords, but it all depends on the size of the puncture and where it's located. Since this was on the outer tread area close to the sidewall it probably should have been scrapped.

The integrity of the tire is degraded with that repair. The tire should be branded to show its downgraded capacity. If it is branded everyone involved knows the tire is not up to manufacturers standard.
Well the tire won't last long if you all saw that 6 inch split then you'll know the tire won't last much past getting hot then it will blow out and hopefully no one gets hurt out on the roadway
I would have hit the pin with water and used an air chisel to push it out. Tire is trash by usa standards. I would have tried not to cut and grind all that tire material out. I'm more for a large combo plug-patch, and a large reinforced boot patch. I don't feel vulcanizing that rubber in the hole she made will do much. It's common to see tires throw their retreads.
I love to watch women doing these kind of jobs. The same as women in construction world. So awesome. Maybe they're not as strong as their male colleagues still they get the job done
Comunque bravissima e bellissima come sempre 🥰😘😘

It isn't. Not in The U.S. D.O.T. Catches that and that driver is out of service and so is that equipment for at least 24hrs. A hefty fine will come with that. Where she is, is fine. There's no way that tyre would go back on my truck with that amount of repair. Definitely not on a steer axle.

Should have been is the key word because she patched that and did a great job.
