Dennis that is a great looking Fire Truck. I came very came very close to buying a Ladder Fire Engine in Southern Maine. She was a GMC convertible, had a new ladder. The gent wanted $3500.00.
5.9 Cummins would be a reliable engine. A 471t Detroit would make a great vintage up date Allison automatic is the only trans I can think of that would work. Could you imagine the linkage needed for a stick?
What a cool fire truck. I’m surprised that Jay Leno didn’t nab that one! 😳
He wouldn't had restored it on the cheap.
He has a more unique old Fire Truck though.
This is proof they dont make them like they used to, man!! What a beautifully styled firetruck 😍😍
Well you can just use your eyes and tell
Art Deco Fire Truck, too cool. 😎👍🇨🇦
What a great looking firetruck!
Sensational Dennis!..Thanks so much...and to Uncle Douggie!
Back when craftsman took pride in their work. I'm not putting down today's craftsman, but back then form was just as important as function.
Wow! I love that old fire truck! It's cool and unique looking!

So great Dennis. I agree w/you; it's my favorite fire truck I've ever seen and so stylish w/ that swoosh side.
Beautiful. Reminds me of Chicago FD’s beautiful Autocar squads…an elegant version of those CFD rigs.
Beautiful
Very cool!!!!!!! 👍👍👍
Dennis: “it’s the best fire truck I’ve ever seen”
Fire truck: “of course, I’m a Beverly Hills fire truck”
Should've starred in the "Cars" movie!
Nice! 👍👍👍
That is nothing but cool !!!
Luv it!
There was one of these in a fenced industrial yard in Beaumont CA.
