Yes, you have to do headers

@@noobasdfjkl changing the factory headers on an e46 M3 ranks amongst the worst modification you can do, because there're sensors attactached to the original. When removed, the ECU gets confused and cuts off power by 10-15%. Just search for BEFORE/AFTER videos and see for yourself

As someone who has owned 3 (and many other performance cars) I can tell you this car is damn near impossible to "mod". That's why Road & Track magazine calls it GOAT. It's just setup so well from factory. Even the gods that made the CSL version were only able to squeeze out a bit more power. But you think some 3rd party folks can do better!? GTFOH 🤣
