only Suzutsuki escape that fate. apparently farming pumpkins is a best way to to supplement the very low rations the akizuki class, or any remaining ships, suffered late in the war.
Well with the US embargo on -oil- food, its likely that akizuki is getting rations again.
I was just thinking that it was one of the best euphemisms I'd heard in a while.
Its not popular to say this, but its also a good innuendo if you have a Japanese gf or a wife.
... sometime after which, the Akizuki will need to pump bilges.
I finally get a clip in, and for the entire match, except for the opening intro, I'm referred to as Norse Captain rather than CaptainNorse. Well, it is Jingles, so I guess it was to be expected 😄

To tell that your cat has a torpedo reload booster is one of the most frightening things to meantion.
Make sure the litter box is dumped and fresh litter placed.
Trust me, they really have a torpedo reload booster, which tends to catch you by surprise.

personally i think the Omaha has reactive armor that was mounted inside-out
they put the citadel on the outside and the armor belt on the inside

So what you're saying Jingles is that both versions of Akizuki, the WoWs imposter and the real one, come with a "press here to start murder" button. The feline one is possibly located somewhere near the belly but it does depend on the cat. One of mione was totally fine with belly rubs. Touch the paws? "You have crossed the line human! I will end you!" :D
I've got two cats myself both getting old now at 14 and 18 and neither of them had the belly murder switch. They had a tail root murder switch.
Technically, both have their Murder buttons located on their belly (Akizuki's Torps being on the mid-ship) while both its 4 paws and 4 100mm daka daka guns rapidly scrstch you in pain until death.
It's Jingles "other" cat, Jhuzi, that has the "belly murder switch", except she tries to fool you into rubbing it. "Rub mah belleh, hooman".....go on, rub it...please rub mah belleh...AHA!!!...you dared rub mah belleh...say goodbye to all the flesh on your hand and arms!"!!

7:00 although a triple strike achievement does not exist in PC, blitz does have one named "lighting strike"
To get it you need to kill three enemies within 5 seconds, its a pretty darn hard one to get though, i myself have been playing blitz for a good amount of time with nearly 10k battles and i have never gotten a single lighting strike
I’ve been enjoying blitz, I wish the games were a bit longer and it was 10v10 though
As far as I can tell, the only easy-ish way to get a lightning strike medal is to use a CV like Kaga or Hakuryu
Nail 1 ship with bombs and another 2 with torps

I have 1 with 5k battles. It was the high light of my blitz career, well that and my one and only 160k no bot random battle and an ace( 7kills)
That Omaha vs. 2 x Gneisenau actually clearly demonstrates that sometimes you DO want to nose in on BBs. Sure, if they hit you they are almost guaranteed to citadel you from the arming time, but that is very big IF. Remember, we're talking about BBs rolling the dice to hit a target the size of on Omaha bow. Smart money is on one or less hits.
especially true when you are facing german BBs with their shotgun style spray-and-pray main guns :D

Recently had a battle in Wot which was a breath of fresh air, playing a t8 against t10, battle took 13 minutes and managed to get a 4 vs 5 to 4 vs 0. My heart hadn't raced that much in forever, love those close battles that take longer than 4 or 5 minutes.
I would love to see more clip compilations in the future
Jingles you're mostly right on the japanese destroyer names but I wanted to add that it wasn't just wind and moons but also waves, weather, clouds and natural phenomena that Japanese named their destroyers after. For example you have "Hibiki" which means "Echo" , "Fubuki" which means "Blizzard", "Yugumo" for "evening clouds" and "Ayanami" for "twilled waves"

That Udaloi triple was poetry!
The Triple B (BBB, Bitching Battleship) in the first clip was the true highlight. Bitching about the useless DD and having no help. Meanwhile, the DD scores three kills to their 0. It's just one of the many reasons why I "love" WoWs so much.
Why does everyone hate the Omaha?
Yes, it is a fragile ship, but just stay at max range and never stop shooting.
And most importantly:
Pick fire alert and start dodging whenever starts looking ur way.
(Which is possible cause of that good maneuverbility of Omaha)

Yup, Omaha is good. Just a high-skill-floor ship for T5.
He's just wrong that you should give broadside to bait overpens instead of citadels through the nose: you'll get citadelled anyway, but the nose is a much smaller target

Not only winds and moons, generally Japanese destroyers are named after natural phenomenon. Harugumo and Yuugumo for example means Spring/Evening clouds, Asashio amongst other ones are named after "Tides", and Fubuki is straight up "Blizzard"
Add to that, light cruisers are often named after rivers (Sendai, Chikuma, Mogami), more heavily armored ships (heavy cruisers/some battleships) are named after mountain/mountain ranges (Takao, Kongo), bigger ships are named after names of Japan/names that relate to Japan's identity (Yamato, Fuso) or names of provinces, and carriers are named after mythical, flying beasts (Hosho/Flying Phoenix,, Ryuujou/Prancing Dragon, etc) except for maybe Shinano (which, reflecting its conversion from a Yamato-class battleship, is a province name)
The first two fleet carriers, Akagi and Kaga, also had surface combatant names because they were converted during construction.

The best thing about the Omaha is that it has those casemate guns, you can be bow in and have 6 guns pointing forward.
The Phoenix even more so, if you angle her around 10 degrees you can basically have the same firepower as if you were broadside minus one gun.
Before I quit the game I kept my Furutaka, Omaha and Phoenix just for shits and giggles with the boys.

Udaloi has Dual purpose not just before the update with Grozovoi and Ognevoi got split.
Ah, yes, my favorite tier X battle, facing Lyons and Alanta's, ah Jingles, never change my friend, I think the reasoning you thought he was in a tier X battle is because the Udaloi is a tier IX ship. That has thrown me off a few times myself when I play my tier VII's like Alanata B and I find tier IX's in the match too lol, mostly been destroyers though.
Also side note, it's players like Vasssey that makes me wish there was a instant mute button in games sometimes. Nothing annoys anyone more then having that 1 player that constantly bitches throughout the entire match, ah, I love watching the salt shaker shake in chat sometimes. Also..hearing little Akizuki meow is so dam cute! I love that the mic picks her up x3.
You say Omaha doesn't have armor but it does, it serves to hold the crew inside when the ship goes around a corner.
I can certainly appreciate videos like this, it’s nice to see stuff that wouldn’t otherwise be able to make a full video get some time in the spotlight

Although I play Legends as opposed to the original version I love watching these videos.
The Omaha is everything you say but strangely it was the ship which earned me my first Kraken Unleashed so I've always felt kind of nervous when I see an Omaha, usually because I'm in a DD.
You might be an alcoholic when the only thing you notice in the photo of the cat is the bottle of Buffalo Trace in the background.
Playing Omaha taught me that kiting is life for light cruisers. You really do learn how to wiggle the backend, juke the throttle and avoid entire salvos because if even one BB shell lands, the Omaha can be dead. I actually enjoy playing it because the range and number of guns means it can be fairly effective but like Emerald, one mistake and you're dead, because they're constructed entirely from citadels and explodium.
The Akazuki banter at the end is hilarious.
After a great effort and great video , The Might Jingles goes to feed the cat and clean the aftermath in the kitty litter becoming just back to earth Jingles .
Yes Jingles destroyer cats have depth charges as well .
And it's definitely something no one wants to discover by, er, "accident".

My kitty is named Hatsuharu. Not intended to be after the destroyer, but I am pleased with his armament as well. He is a slender tuxedo, a fine boi.
I reckon I've seen at least two battles of this length. On both occasions the two DD's got themselves killed in the first 3 minutes., the BB's and CA/CL's sat in the back whilst the enemy DD's capped. Our cruisers panic and try to contest the caps only to be paddled most epically into oblivion. It's never pretty.
Also British capital ship naming conventions 'Invincible' and 'Indefatigable'... both blew up
Sadly, I feel pretty sure that if we were able to examine the server stats we would find that in fact 7 minute battles happen every single day. I only play rarely these days, but even playing a dozen games a month or so, I often see games that last ten minutes or less.
JIngles! its okey that you get it wrong in these videos, I dont know anything about WOW other than what little I can remember from your content, I dont play it, I just watch your videos because they are hilarious! So I dont get upset or frustrated by your misses, and clearly you know what you are talking about most of the time! So its all good! ;) Keep up the awesome work! Honestly, I wanna get in to this game but I'm lazy, its scary and ... again, lazy! :D I have tried it but not played more than a couple of hours!
I did a battle where little half the team went down mid. I thought the game was lost, but they managed to break through, and the reds that had split to take A and D had to turn around and come back to try and kill half our team, while taking flanking fire from the remainder of our team closing on them. It was a massacre for them.
Very entertaining, I look forward to more compilations. That is a monster cat Jingles, but she is beautiful.

Shortest battle I've been in was about 90 secs. Enemy team had TWO three DD/CC divs from the same clan. They proceeded to torpedo each other in spawn and that was that. Wish I'd kept the screenshot.
Oh man I'd love to have seen that replay.

I had a 3-min long battle in a Kuma once, on the Fault Line map if I remember correctly; not a single casualty on my team. Was just going about my business when suddenly it was over!

I use the Atlanta in War Thunder religiously because it's just as terrifying as it is in WoWS it is the definition of High Explosive rain and can turn anything that floats into a gunless floating funeral pyre.

Sadly, I’ve been in several sub six minute battles. And, remember the closing time required for engagement to begin… it is hard to explain how a battle can be over that fast.

Since the last update loading into Warships has been incredibly slow. I often miss the first half minute of a match,
The port with the holiday decorations also takes unusually long to load. When I switched to a less-decorated port, I think it helped my game loading times as well as my port loading times.
Akizuki - that is a good name for a cat. Another good name: Kittykaze.
The 1st ship in the clip he was firing at was a tier VII Gniesenau "Oh Jingles you have done it again! Perhaps you mistook this for a Grosser KerFurst :P

When I played this game, Omaha was my favourite and most played ship. For the fun and the gameplay.
I averaged a 66% win rate in it, playing solo randoms.
I never enjoyed the high tier gameplay as much, because it seemed to be too serious and too infested with angry toxic players.
@@ursamajor7468 Depending on the matchmaking, I used to deliberately hang my arse out quite often, 1st thing in a battle. Because I knew when to turn and get ready to kite away and it's better for me to be targetted whilst dodging at reasonable range than for team-mates to blapped because they sailed in a straight line broadside on.
And at other times I'd use team mates as meat shields. And sometimes I'd use them as spotters whilst spamming from behind islands.
1 on 1 I was confident I could take any tier 7 BB on, apart from the Sinop, as long as I had room to kite and taunt them.
I don’t know if this has been commented yet but there’s an achievement in the (sorry blitz players) potato version of wows called lightning strike it is basically a triple strike

Had triple kill within 10 sec on my North Dakota in a game quite a while ago. Got too close to an island and managed to swing the two front turrets around to destroy a damaged DD and a damaged CL that came around the island at point blank range. The rear turret was still coming around only to catch a third ship, also point blank, trying to torpedo me from the other side of the island and down he went. This battle was before replays were done automatically and suffice to say I set it up to record replays after that.
Go, refuel your very furry Japanes DD, old man! XD

I wish I would have kept replays from a day or two where it seems like my side would cap the left or right point, and then the game ended b/c the mid and other side did so poorly. It was one after the other of "Oh the games over?? But we just got to the capture point." lol

This weekend, I baited an Oklahoma to come get me in a tight channel between two islands, proceeded to launch of full spread of torps into him when he got through it with a Omaha, and got the devastating strike. The guy posted in chat that he was going to uninstall the game and his clan buddy starting reaming him about dying to an Omaha. The entire conversation was hilarious and he was offering to sell his account to anyone for $20. LOL.
