People want to compliment my hair. So long, such curls, much wow. What they don't know is I'm living a disgusting life of never washing my hair. And that's why it looks nice. That is the trick.

When all 'beauty gurus' receive the same products, you always end up watching different people using the same products up until the next big one comes out. you got me HOOKED onto that elf brush its SO good and if you read the reviews on the elf website someone thought their brush came damaged bc the bristles weren't all the same size so they THREW IT OUT
Once you added that hint of silver to the center of your lid your eyes popped blue so much brighter than if you had left it that skin tone bronze colour. I love how something so unnoticeable makes such a difference
I can't believe I never thought of using a stipple brush with a stick foundation like that before. In this video and your Hourglass one they look SO beautiful and not too heavy/cakey (we have the same coverage preferences & skin issues). My HG foundation stick is prob a lil too old by now... but I still wanna try out this application technique and maybe I'll find I like it better and won't be so afraid of stick foundations in general. You would love the Aveda dry shampoo! It is the same squeeze bottle for the powder and it smells amazing. Gives a bit of volume texture as well which is great for us blondes with fine flat hair.

Also with the acne coverage--I stopped trying to cover my acne/acne scars about a year ago. It was really hard at first and I felt like everyone was just looking at my skin when they talked to me but... If we want to destigmatize it, we gotta start somewhere! Now I feel the most confident I've ever felt sans makeup. I always wanted to be one of those girls that just wore a tinted moisturizer and eye shadow, but no heavy foundation/creams/powders. I thought because I have scars I could never do that...but I'm doing it anyway! Living my best life.

Samantha, have you tried steaming your face with water, honey and red wine vinegar? I had similar acne on my face plus rash. I would steam my face before bed 3-4 times a week. Rinse with cool water, apply eucerin lotion (with oatmeal) and take vitamin B complex supp. Mine cleared within 3 weeks. Its been 5 years now, never had it again.

If you have laser removal the area turns an even color cause it has no more hair roots. That’s what has happened to me since I’ve had that process. And it has been 10 years now. When I was shaving them I had the darker color there. Maybe Sam has done the same.

I know you don't like mint BUT if you don't mind the cooking feel of mint in a gloss, the Milani Keep It Full glosses are SPECTACULAR. My cousin got me the shade Luminoso and I am so surprised by how long they last on the lips, how nourishing it feels without being sticky or gloppy. It feels like the Buxom glosses in the sense that there's a cooling mint feeling but they smell slightly like vanilla mint. No taste, though.

It looks really nice over the CT flawless filter, but cream products tend to settle in my lines. Who am I kidding, most foundations settle in my f@#king lines, I’m 49 next month 😱. The Westman Atelier super Loaded tinted highlighter is the most beautiful thing I’ve bought this year. Now I need to add Bette to my CT eyes to mesmerize collection...and I want the ND Biba palette. 🥰

If you have laser removal the area turns an even color cause it has no more hair roots. That’s what has happened to me since I’ve had that process. And it has been 10 years now. When I was shaving them I had the darker color there. Maybe Sam has done the same.

I know you don't like mint BUT if you don't mind the cooking feel of mint in a gloss, the Milani Keep It Full glosses are SPECTACULAR. My cousin got me the shade Luminoso and I am so surprised by how long they last on the lips, how nourishing it feels without being sticky or gloppy. It feels like the Buxom glosses in the sense that there's a cooling mint feeling but they smell slightly like vanilla mint. No taste, though.

Oh my god, you look like a goddess. I have the Westman Atelier foundation stick...sometimes I like it, sometimes I don’t. It looks really nice over the CT flawless filter, but cream products tend to settle in my lines. Who am I kidding, most foundations settle in my f@#king lines, I’m 49 next month 😱. The Westman Atelier super Loaded tinted highlighter is the most beautiful thing I’ve bought this year. Now I need to add Bette to my CT eyes to mesmerize collection...and I want the ND Biba palette. 🥰
Could you pleaseee do a review on the Westman Ateliar stuff, and do swatches comparing the contour stick to the CT contour wand and the hourglass illume trio.

I love dry shampoos that are a squishy bottle. I'll have to look into that one. The only one I knew about before now was by Aveda and was disappointed when I realized I was allergic to the sunflower in it 😂
