Why don't you get some DCOE pattern throttle bodies off ebay and obtain a crank angle sensor and go to a Megasquirt ECU injection setup? you can buy the ECUs now fully made and ready to go... it's not that hard to get your setup going, and you'll probably unlock maybe 10 - 15 horsepower hiding there, ready to be let out!
I don't know for sure but I think internal diameter is 40 on both. 48 has wider 'mouth' requiring a curve into the 40 dia meaning the air has to travel a little further around the curve, but in the same time so ends up being accelerated by the curve. Not that I know anything at all about carbs so could be wrong… it happened once before! Just here to learn myself.
I wish you guys made a better guild to actually install the triple carbs kit for the 240z it’s complicated to understand out to install it honestly

Did you dyno the engine after you fitted the 48s? How did the power curveTQ change?
