I thoroughly enjoyed this tour. It would be so tough to decide what to choose in that market, because it all looks amazing. Cheers, Antonio! 👍🏻👍🏻✌️
Glad you enjoyed it! I sometimes buy more than I could handle, but I kept it cool this time haha.
Thank you for this amazing tour and I am crazy about cheese too...See ya
Thanks for watching!
What a great tour!! Loved it!! From the bagels at Kossar's to the stalls at the market 🥹😍😍 tell me you got the burrata pepperoni 😋😋🤤🤤 perfect weather beautiful food, what else do you want?! Awesome!!!👍👍❤️
I appreciate your enthusiasm Lisa. I actually went to Mama's Too! that day, which is one of my favorite pizzerias. I think there was too much pepperoni on that Buratta pie but I bet it's quite popular. I would definitely try it someday. It was a good time, talking food with the vendors and enjoying the beautiful day before the heatwave that's coming.
@@Antonioonthegostay cool! We're already going thru our second heatwave so far 😬😒😠
Antonio my man! I love it. Thank you! 👍👍👍
My pleasure!
Love the LES. Possibly the most interesting neighborhood in American history. If I remember correctly back in the 90s or early 2000s there used to be an A&P supermarket or maybe it was a Pathmark?…..One of those types of supermarkets back then that was kind of hidden in the lower east side. And I think the Essex market was in a different location from the current location
Yes the old Essex Market was very close to the new spot. It's still there, but not sure if it serves a different purpose or if it's abandoned. I can't say I remember those old supermarkets. I spent most of my time in Little Italy, and Chinatown in the 2000s. And uptown where all the big nightclubs were.
Great video. Cheers from the South Carolina Lowcountry
Thanks for watching!
I miss the old Essex location. Get a ticket at Russ & Daughters, go to the market to make the wait entertaining.
