Just wanted to thank you for the amazing videos. Only recently found your channel but I'm obsessed. I'm a Brit who is desperate to visit NYC, Staten Island and Hoboken, and in particular, Hudson Yards and the High Line. Thank you for showcasing parts of NY we don't typically see. Have also recently found your Instagram and your photography is stunning. Again, thank you for putting a smile on my face. I could literally listen to your talk all day. Love your passion and your accent! Please, have a cannolo on me!
Thank you so much for reaching out and your feedback. I'm glad to hear you are enjoying the content. I appreciate the donation, that is encouraging. I hope you get to visit the city someday, I'm glad that I introduced you to the city's attractions. :) Hoboken is awesome, along Washington street.
@@Antonioonthego It's my pleasure, really. Can't wait to see more of what you do.
Thanks for sharing the video!
Thanks for watching!
Just saw them in Phoenix last night for the first time and it was fantastic. A bucket list item for me too!
Oh yeah, I was thinking about going to Europe to see them until I realized they were coming to NYC. So glad they made it to North America.
This is nice, but this is no mime
Not traditionally but he's doing similar things.
that was paulie D!
I remember when there was the Empress Deli on 86 St and Bay Parkway. Greag Jewish deli. Gone at least 20 years, I'd say. The bagel store is still there.
Thank you, so much, for posting this video. I have not had a chance to see them play live, and they were amazing, in this video. This band, and the members, are amazing. I had a tear in my eye and was jamming out, while watching this. ❤ Thank you, so much, again.
Aww, so nice to hear that the video was so heartfelt for you. I was crying there in the crowd too! This was a dream come true for me. Hope you get to see them perform live someday!
"Tommy The Nose," I love it. Can't wait to get down to the Feast this week! Already know what I'm having. Baked clams, calamari, and zeppoles.
KRACKENFRAU 1998
Surprised not to see Palistian protestors.
San Gennaro finally!! All that good food, so much to choose - that cheese wheel pasta with the ground pepper had me salivating ! I wouldn't bother with the fried oreo and twinkies, no thank you, I'll stick with zeppole and cannoli , pistachio of course 😋 Awesomeness! Thanks for the great walk!! Really enjoyed it! Hope you took a pie home with you!
Oh I did take another 2 slices home! Thanks Lisa, glad you enjoyed the walk! I appreciate your enthusiasm.
Thank you for sharing 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
LOTL <3
Thank you for sharing this wonderful video 🎉🎉 Love from Hamburg to NYC ..🙌🥰
You are so welcome! I love Hamburg's finest!
This is probably Antonio’s best Little Italy walk. Good stuff. I was just at Manero’s Pizza 3 months ago during my NYC vacation. I need to visit Caffe Napoli in the future to try their Lobster Ravioli
I plan to go back soon for the pizza review at Cafe Napoli. They make great coffee and yes, the ravioli...
Fantastic walk! Thanks!
Glad you enjoyed it
Great walk! It's great as always Antonio. Thanks.
Amazing fireworks show! Thanks for filming it for us 🎇
Wow! Thanks for sharing the video. I traveled from Puerto Rico 🇵🇷 just for this AWESOME concert! 🤘🏻🍻Cheers!
Rock on!
I’ve been waiting on this video from you Antonio thank You , this video will be better than the Giants game today
Giants are a work in progress. Glad you enjoyed the video, of course I'd never miss a day at San Gennaro!
Yes. Wish I made it this year
Thanks for the footage, the recording is perfect👌🔥
I'm happy how it came out, given the low lighting conditions. Thanks for the feedback.
Thanks for sharing. Greetings from Hamburg, Germany 🤘🏻
Thanks for watching! We love LOTL here in NYC !
Another excellent walk. Always love the East Village. I ate at Veselka years ago. It was the first time I ever had authentic versions of pierogies. St. Marks is legendary. It seemed more edgy back in the old days but it’s still great
The street definitely changed a bit. I love Veselka, but my favorite Polish restaurants are in Greenpoint Brooklyn.
This was another great walking tour. I do have a mixed Slavic ancestry, and included in that is Polish and Ukrainan. Cabagge rolls, kielbasa, and vareneky (pierogies) are great. Cheers, Antonio! 👍🏻👍🏻✌️
Very cool! Love that cuisine and the people.
Hehe thanks for this .. yeah i never expected to ever go to see a band again but lotl changed my mind lol .. tanx again, great video
Thank you Antonio, greetings from Cologne, Germany. This video was my surprise this morning🎉🤘🏼🤘🏾.
@@evelinweiland5558 🤘 I hope to see them again in New York, so happy they are performing in so many cities now! Glad you enjoyed the vlog!
Another German Lostie here... Thank you so much, Antonio! Really did enjoy your vlog. Stay lost!
@@elfes.schmitt2284 So glad you enjoyed it, I miss them so much, I hope they return!
@@Antonioonthego Yes, I understand that. And I know we are very lucky being able to go to their shows so easily and often in Germany and Europe. I see them 3 or 4 times a year... But they love their fans all over the world and I think, this time it won't take 10 years again to be back on US soil... Thank you for your true support! 🖤
Thanks so much for sharing, amazing recording!! And I agree with everything, nothing like small venues, amazing experience, and a 100 times better than large stadiums or open spaces. I saw them last night in Toronto (Sep 18), asimilar venue to this one in NY, and the sound was off for Julian K the same way you describe, I couldn't hear the vocalist 90% of the performance, the drums were too loud. Unfortunately, it was almost the same for LOTL, the drums and the bass amalgamated into one tick deafening noise, I could barely hear the guitars and the synth, only in the parts when the rhythm was softer. Chris's voice too, I could hear him, but all the vocal nuances were lost. I was devastated to be honest. I know it's not their equipment and they could only do so much, but given that half of the band are sound engineers, I'm still puzzled how come they settled for that quality. I saw them last year in Germany in a larger venue (2000k+), and the sound was crisp and damned perfectly balanced, you could hear every single note.
@@dvanaestcestica1135 It might had been an off day for the sound engineers. I was happy with the sound balance of the LOTL performance at the NewYork show. It was a bit loud though, a lot of people were wearing ear plugs. Hey thanks for watching the video and I’m glad you liked it.
Thank you sooo much for this video🙏🏻🫶We Give Our Hearts to the Lord Of The Lost🖤🥰🫶forever🫶
@@SelwaB hope to see them again !
Awesome developing my website and youtube channel and contacts in the museum world.
Hey Antonio, great job. Was raised on Bay 14th, moved to Sunset when i was 11. Owned a record store for 25 years on 48th & 5th. Survived the gangs of the 70's & 80's, and i wouldn't have changed anything! Great times, nice to see the neighborhood is still poppin'!
Awesome, glad you appreciated the tour! Bath Beach is probably going to be one of next stops for a tour in the near future .
New Radicals video location
Looks like a cool venue. A nice intimate place. The band sounded good. I would see them live. I did see Metallica live on their latest tour. Cheers, Antonio!✌️
Rock on!
Thanks for this video and greetings from Hamburg, LotL's home town. Many "Losties" in Europe are eagerly following how LotL are doing on the US/Canada tour and hope that they get the recognition and success they deserve. In addition to their musical talent, the guys are so great, gracious and down to earth and it's fantastic that they have been so enthusiastically received and celebrated in New York and Baltimore 😊.
@@be_polite1505 I’m so happy they’re selling out the venues here, I’ve been a fan for years and this was a dream come true for me. They’re a one of a kind band and a one of kind people. The turnout was impressive and most of the attendees were truly LOTL fans, everyone was singing along to the lyrics.
I’ve never heard of that band but I have been to Irving Plaza years ago to see a concert. It’s a nice venue for shows. I don’t know if they do it anymore but they had late night concerts that would end at 3 AM.
@@ramencurry6672 Since the pandemic, NYC isn’t really the city that never sleeps anymore although there’s still some restaurants that stay open until 2AM, at St. Marks place, nearby. This concert ended at around 11pm. I love Irving Plaza, there’s always a great seat in the house.
How long was the concert roughly?
@@Firefighter0763 3 hours or so, Julien-K opened for them, and LOTL played for almost 2 hours. It was epic!
Sweet
Brilliant tour, thank you for such a wonderful stroll
Glad you enjoyed it
Super walk. Enjoyed it. Thanks for taking your time to upload these walks. Very good narration like always.
It can be difficult work and so it's nice to know people appreciate the walks. Thanks for the feedback!
Elephants need our help, especially in Asia where they’re still being used for logging, circuses and ceremonies.
Indeed they do, amazing animals.
Actually lantana camera, a weed.
Bamboo dummy.
Wow, I'm from Bedstuy Brooklyn but moved from NYC 24 years ago. I never heard of Kensington, Brooklyn before. I saw the sign Church Ave so I thought it was part of Flatbush. But I learn something new every day, and NYC has changed drastically since I left.
Flatbush is adjacent to Kensington. I hope to get to Bed Stuy soon for a walking tour. I also want to try Rocco's Pizza.
Thank you so much for taking us on the journey with you. I haven't been back to New York since I left in 2000. I'm a Brooklyn girl and I love your accent. Didn't realize we New Yorkers had an accent until I left. Thanks so much and look forward to your next video. Stay safe and stay blessed.
Thanks for tuning in, glad you appreciated the video.
Gorgeous walk. The meat packing district has some nice spots. The new Pier 57 has some good views too on their rooftop
I've been planning to go to Pier 57 but everytime I'm in the area I wind up in Little Island.
The elephant installation looks amazing. Gotta go check that out, and get some noodles after. Thanks for posting! 😊😊
If I had the money & space I would buy one or two 🧡🐘🧡 Thanks for the Highline tour. I always wanted to go but never got around to it
Yeah, they are huge and require space. Each elephant's proceeds go to different charities. Glad you enjoyed it.
Great walk as always. I remember that area many years ago. Wonderful place back then. Wow!
ottimo video ho fame little italy is the best of the best
Hi Antonio, you know certainly that : There are some of us ,including me, to see & enjoy your Works more than as one time. For me in the last 3 Weeks perhaps 4 , 5 times..…..Just wanna mention : How Fast Time flies & simultaneously showing Gratitude f. your efforts.Till The next one🍻
It's hard work, especially when walking in the heat and the cold weather. Thanks for the comment.
