There are a few things that I really like about your video's. You don't make your-self better than even a beginner, you make your-seld and equal or you explain something to were anyone understands it. You also don't try to push the top of the line items where the average person can't afford, when your discribing your rigs
That’s great feedback, thanks! It’s definitely a goal of mine to not get caught up in the high end stuff and lose sight of the entry level stuff. Cause I want more and more people to get into the hobby!
I follow John since he had met Dale...this is also my 2nd Hobby based channel. Main channel is PAW - kite videos...there I an old "good old days" skate video on the side of my kite videos. I would really love to see you try some good 4.19 Class1 tires on your Poised before you change to F10s 🙏
Oh nice! Haha that’s cool, so you had already been following Dale? Dude that’s awesome. Small world!! The class ones on there huh?…..that’s a heavy investment.. dude the concept still seems crazy to me haha
@@HobbyDrop Of course I follow Mr. Decker 👌 Thats investment for interesting content...the tusk 4.19 greens work on 1.9 wheels good with stock inserts on light rigs.
@@HobbyDrop …not better, theire different. For instance is the steering drive more direkt. There is more torque and the center of gravity is lower. Also you do not need high priced inserts, because the sidewalls are shellow. But you should have portals to have enough clearance…makes sense. I have my 4.19 g8 hyrax on my portal Basecamp, but the inserts of these are not usable , because they have 4.75 inserts as stock in there. The Tusks inserts are totally usable. Do not forget to vent.
I enjoy videos with conversation since most of the time I’m listening and only glance at my phone occasionally at work. I’m in the same boat as you I’m wanting to start my coyote build but servo mounts are sold out for ar45p so my build is going to take longer to than expected. I also have multiple hobbies and this is honestly the cheapest one I also bass fish and love custom vehicles.
Oh that’s a good point, I definitely don’t think you’re the only one that listens while at the bench. Yeah I’ll have to see what to do with the axles in the mean time. Bass fishing is more costly than RC? That’s impressive! Haha
@@HobbyDrop I’ve got everything else just can’t assemble without the mount. Im excited to get it done but I guess it’s a waiting game. Yes it gets extremely expensive depending on how serious you’re into it. I recently got a couple rod and real setups about $300 each then it’s easy to spend $100-$150 on lures for a certain season not to mention buying a boat anywhere from 30k-150k depending on what you’re looking for.
I was one of those down at the park this past weekend. Our group was really big for the most part. :) Love the cage cut, I love this body I need to figure out the cuts needed
Oh nice! The more RC crawlers out there the better! :) check out my build breakdown in the poizd playlist. I got over at least a little, the cuts I made
I enjoyed it. Just like running with your friends where you can talk about anything and everything. Looking forward to more like it, and more on the evolution of this rig. And thanks for keeping the pickleball on the other channel.😂 j/k
Exactly! Yeah it’s funny to think of the changes, I’m so back and forth on changing it or not tho 🤦🏻♂️ Haha your welcome for keeping pickleball off :D I got you
Always a full view, my friend good content love the Red Rocks of St George. I know how you feel being other rc crawlers. Would be cool to see you at the bench. I don't get to crawl much wife's is not big on the hobby. Digging your new rig. Stay safe
Thanks! Oh you’d be interested in some bench videos too? I’ll have to do some. Not sure how they’d go haha. Yeah I’m lucky to be so close to good spots. Only a 5 minute drive from my work.
@HobbyDrop We get to Utah about 3 times a year. One of our stops is PP and Morty's coming from California it's a 6 hour drive. Pickelball is big here, but I'm not into it. Bench top video would be cool to see the workings of Hobby Drop.
I just barely opened up a package that had my rims for my RC car in it and it looks like that we have the same ones I'm curious to know on how they have been holding up
Oh nice haha! They have been solid. Not my favorite honestly. The screws get caught up easy. Are the main nut keeps coming loose. So after a good run I’ve got to tighten them up again….not sure what the deal is there. But they look sick, they are light weight and they and a nice positive offset.
I definitely dig your channel man keep up the good work you're doing great
Thanks man. I appreciate the support!

@@PleasureAfterWorkRcCrawlers what makes em better than a standard class 2 tire?

That rig is GORGEOUS. Have you posted it in the Facebook group? Can't wait for Travis to get set back up so I can get a V2 this year to build
Thanks! Yeah I think I posted it up when I first finished the build! Oh is he out of stock? Haha I’d believe it
@@HobbyDrop he also moved halfway across the country. So it could be a while before he gets chassis kits out to stores
