Had mine running for 3 days testing
Red Sea ALK
Red Sea pro PO4
API Nitrate
API Calcium
Red Sea Pro Mag
Verdict so far - superb bit of kit.
Read a few mixed reviews but it’s a well designed product with a very handy and easy to use App.
The vial rail was slightly bent on delivery and within an hour Reef Kenetics were giving me a solution via the support app. So far so good hopefully will be my fave bit of reef kit.
Do you know how long it could run on reagents like that I mean longer than three days???
Amazing. The "tech" in this hobby just keeps getting better. Can't imagine what it would be like 10-20 years time.

You have the GHL ION director coming out shortly. It will be interesting to see how effective and if they are able to add another test to the probe if they do. I feel this technology, using a probe could be a gamechanger although people must remember, probes are likely to need replacement on a regular basis. It may be more expensive than reagents over a period of time. Then again you can probably get more frequent tests done in that time.
Great video! Thanks for putting this out! Do you dose saltwater back into the tank to compensate for removed water? Probably a more relevant question for a nano than a tank the size of yours.
As you said my tank is large so it doesn't really impact the tank, no more than the skimmer anyway. The Salinity is checked weekly and compensated for when required 😁👍🏽

Sir!!! Use the redsea kH test. It only uses one slot. So you dont have to swap po4 for no3 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
What is the advantage of this machine if we compared with sensor based test system ? ( Like ph sensor , TDS sensor etc . In that case don't have to use any reagent )
HI Aaron, I am wanting one of these, is the discount code still applicable? Appreciate its now 12 months on lol. Also have they improved it at all so it links automatically to a dosing machine so that the doser increases / reduces the required amounts?

I’d like to know how has your unit been reef bot has it been consistent I have had two now had to return them under warranty because they just won’t work.
Think is is a better buy than a apex unit?

It looks cool but after it tests 8 different chemicals I'm sure the small vile of rodi water for cleaning is also contaminated. Even only with one run but idk nor do I know if it would mattter. Does it purge itself? Where are all the input and outputs?
Yes it purges itself. It cleans the needle 3 times after each movement. Inputs and outputs as shown in the video.

Shut the front door. I'm sold. What cloud dosser do you use? I imagine with a bit of coding the bot can communicate with the dosers and dosing will soon be automated also. What a game changer

Where did you buy it from?
I’m still yet to find an explanation on how it actually collects the test data from the test chamber to be sent to your phone. Does a camera discern the colour of the solution?
There's an optical eye on the test chamber the scans the colours as we would and when the colour changes, that's the result it sends. I did mention that in the video.

My tank is custom built by a Company Called Custom Reef Aquariums it 4ft x 2.5ft x 2ft tall.

Nice video but i guess a full demo of it working and testing in real time will be much better.
As I mentioned in the video tests can take 40 minutes plus. No one would sit through that.

Am I being daft or could you not just swap out the KH test you're using for the Red Sea PRO KH test kit, it uses a single liquid, leaving you with an additional free space for your nitrates test ;)

26mins and we dont even get to see it run. Would have been nice to actually see it in action.

Broke on fourth test, customer service was non existent had to send it back to shop as ReefKinetics just wasn’t interested.
