    With Governor Peter Mbah's administration committed to an overarching vision of growing Enugu State's gross domestic product (GDP) to $30 billion in the next four to eight years, his ambitious economic agenda and the radical policies being implemented in health, education, security, water, and road infrastructure are already beginning to yield results. Indeed, "tomorrow is here." Governor Mbah has made notable strides across several key sectors, particularly in boosting Enugu State's GDP, fostering economic growth, and addressing persistent issues in water distribution, agriculture, infrastructure, education, security, and healthcare.

      Same was said during Sullivan Chime's administration. Where are all his programs, projects and agenda? It has all gone under the bus. Why is Dr Mba starting all over again? The reasons are, no proper standards were established, no sustainable maintenance programs that were passed through the legislation for continuity during Chime's regime. I hope he makes a substantial adjustment to correct most errors from Chime's government.

    I was very impressed by the evidence on the ground when I was in Enugu earlier in Nay 2024. The entire city is being transformed right in front of our eyes 😊! The quality of the roads is amazing and the pipe laying for water supply is very extensive too.

    If past Governors had been doing a good job, we wouldn’t be facing these issues today. Rather we would be focused on productivity and exports across all sectors, that would further strengthen the economy.
    GOD BLESS NIGERIA 🇳🇬

    It'll be utterly unpatriotic for any Governor of the South East states not to buy buses from Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing (IVM) for public mass transit, for both urban and rural transportation. I will never forgive any governor who does patronise IVM.

    I like the projects but instead of an asphalt plant, he should construct concrete roads as has been done in Lagos and Ebonyi

    • @thatoneguywholovesthena-4529
      @thatoneguywholovesthena-4529 หลายเดือนก่อน

      yeah, but i understand why he might not want to considering re-enforced concrete roads are very expensive compared to asphalt and since enugu seems to be in abundance of the mineral, it doesn't seem to be a bad idea. but i'd suggest using concrete on federal roads and asphalt for whatever

      Not at all. We don't need it in Enugu State. Have you visited the one umahi did ? Under 8 to 9 years they are wearing and cracking anyhow. Only the one inside villages are still in shape and that is because those ones are not being plied by heavy vehicle and often times is free of vehicles.

    The question here is, how come a kidnapper has access to bank account their victims pay money into and no one is able to trace the account holder? This sounds magical when booting security..

    Please inform Peter Mbah to construct rural roads to connect Enugu metropolis. This man have not constructed enough rural roads. Does Enugu not have rural roads? Is Peter Mbah deliberately alienating rural dwellers. This man cannot grow the economy of Enugu state without opening the rural economy of Enugu state. The rural economy are link with Enugu metropolis. If Peter Mbah is serious about intramodal transport is to construct Trams and cable cars for Enugu metropolis, the cable car will fit Enugu metropolis due to Enugu topography.

      Bro,
      There are 3 tiers of government in Nigeria. I read somewhere that local governments are now having funds allocated to them directly from the central government> What are those funds for if not for constructing rural roads and opening up those rural communities? Who are those LGs accountable to? Maybe they should be held accountable for rural development leaving the state government to do other things.

    • @ikennaiwuchukwu6949
      @ikennaiwuchukwu6949 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@RadioTV595 in Nigeria that doesn't count. You are living in alternate universe. The state governor are put forward the policy directions of these LGA cos they are clueless. They are don't even know their functions. Most are bereft of what a local government does.

      You don't scatter the little funds you have on a project that cannot give a face to Enugu. This is the reason Africa is not developing as it should be. All rural projects should wait, let's make Enugu a livable city. And it will attract people and fund that will be use to develop the rural areas.
