Ok so for one, manipulating the sticks with thumbs on top is bad form. Secondly, whenever I see ppl flying “3D” I always shake my head thinking how fucking stupid that looks. It’s just jerking an aircraft around and there’s zero creativity. How about combining some 3D aspects and also flying this like what it is….a helicopter. At least make an attempt to put on a show and Impress not only with some fast action but also some slow deliberate airmanship. There’s no skill here. It’s all rote. Just seeing this guy jerking the sticks around and flirting with disaster if he loses control is asinine at best. 0.0 points.
Sad that trolls like you exist. I bet you can’t even hover a helicopter let alone go inverted. Your comments show you have zero knowledge but yet your arrogant enough to open your pie hole and demonstrate your lack of knowledge. The skill it takes to fly like he does in this video is obviously so far beyond your ability to comprehend that … well…. It is understandable that you can’t grasp the concepts. Go back to changing you doors on your truck and leave the helicopter flying to people who appreciate the hobby. Troll.
Thank you so much for showing stick movements on the transmitter. It's nice to see heli's making a comeback. At one point I thought they were going to be discontinued.
I have a passion for helis. I enjoy both the beautiful and graceful flight of a heli as it takes off, hovers or flies past, almost like a performer on a trapeze at the circus. I can appreciate the stick banging some aswel, you push these helis beyond what they were originally supposed todo. It's really amazing how they tic toc and don't fall apart by the negative pressure. I guess people are always doing this, it's either one end of the spectrum or the other. A guy in a park in NYC was flying freestyle like this, stick banging I call it. He brought the heli close during a pass and I can only assume he lost control or a gush of wind interrupted the flight. The heli hit him and nearly severed his head from his neck. By the time his friend ran over to him, the guy bleed out. Since then, new restrictions were implemented. We just can't fly these things anywhere anymore. Extremes kill? Where is the thrill in that? But watching these helis spin around and kinda do everything a real helicopter can't do, yeah I get it! Lol😲👍
I think what saves them is the youth these days could not be bothered doing stuff outdoors they would rather play on a sim or a drone. Heli interest is going down big time according to my rc local shop which is one of the biggest in Europe for SAB. You have to remember they are a chainsaw flying in the air and you really should be wearing protective eye glasses and some would need a helmet the way they fly it directly at people.....electronics do fail and one servo can mean it will come for you and these things go so fast you need to be superman to get out of the way.
That backwards inverted pass down the runway was absolutely sick You were maybe 2-3inches the entire time 😎 Both flights were awesome mate Sweet helicopters also 🔥👍✌️
That was super cool!! I didn't realize how much minimal cyclic is used. Hardly any stick throws on that side!! Edit: I should say minimal during softer 3D!!
Dude has mad pilot skills. Im a 30 year fixed wing pilot, been flying RC for nearly 50 years. My oldest son is a 15 year rotary wing pilot. Neither one of us can fly RC with anything approaching that level of skill. Most pilots don't devote that kind of time to develop those skills. That said, I'm old. I like low and slow these days. Don't have the vision for that. I like flying as scale like as possible with my "Hepalops" my youngest son's baby name for them, and sureally slow with my giant lazy bee.
Wow! How is this possible? How does the rotor not stall? And the turbulence wake of the device itself? How do you handle these things? I never thought that a helicopter, even a model aircraft, was capable of that! Congratulations!
Simple answer...helicopters beat the air into submission...a little better answer, rc helicopters work the same way as any full size helicopter, the difference is the blades, rotor head, etc., are a hundred times stronger then full size, the engine/motor puts out significantly more power then a scaled up size helicopters, the rotor head and tail rotor speeds are 10-20x or more faster then a full size helicopter...all this put together means rc models can do significantly more then full size helicopters...the same holds true with RC cars, boats, airplanes and to a point submarines...
That is INSANE!!! I seriously thought this was fake at first... I was into RC 10 cars for a while and spent more on replacing parts from crashing than I did for the original car. I can only imagine what you must have invested, to become this insanely masterful at piloting those... I'm going to share this with everyone!!!

My head gains are pretty low, 37 in bank 3.

Head gains will typically be lower than on 2 blades helis. You’ll also find the roll rates to be quicker and you’ll use less pitch for maneuvers.
