I think Kourt fails to realize that work isn't just about money to Kim like she said here, it's part of her identity and what makes her, her. When you sacrifice and put effort into something, it becomes a piece of you and you cherish it, not only for the fruits it provides but also the discipline and appreciation that comes along with the labor.
But that’s not the case for everyone. For me work is there to finance my private life. It’s mostly fun, but it’s still work, not my passion. I’d rather have free time. So of Kourtney wants to work less having millions in her bank account for carrying the show on her back for 10 years, she should be able to do it. Not everyone wants to be a workaholic like Kim. Ppl forget that she was extremely passionate about their dash store and used to work her butt off before it was closed, possibly due to the increasing demands of the show. I think at 40, she just wants some level of calm and build a cordial relationship with her kids which I believe she never got from her mum.
