I’m so happy to hear you are writing again! This illness has zapped my creativity too, I really really hope to have energy back to put into music and writing again!!!

It's so inspiring to see how strong you've remained. I know how difficult it can be to live with nerve pain and not being able to do basic things. I pray you remain strong and incredible. You will get through this

First time watching but you did an amazing job on this video. I just had my hysterectomy last Friday. I am 41yrs old and have been feeling overwhelmed with this whole process. Thanks for sharing your story.

It can be overwhelming, for sure. Remember to take it slow & be gracious with yourself during this time! I'm rootin' for you!!

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. I’m scheduled for this Wednesday. I am ready to get it done and then work on my recovery. Can’t wait to put this behind me.. the anticipation is tough!! Tomorrow is my medical clearance... yesterday I had my c-19 test.... which has thankfully come back negative...🙏🏾

Thx for your story and being honest. I have my hysterectomy Jan 27th I’m very nervous I’m having the surgery due to pre cancer in my uterus. I have a lot of nerve pain and such if you don’t mind me asking do you take anything herbal or from the doctor to help with the pain? Sorry if it’s TMI. I’m very nervous so been watching as many videos as I can.

Definitely not TMI - I’m happy to help! CBD can work wonders on me, but smoking it seems to be more beneficial than topical creams or anything else I’ve tried. I have Percocet for my hardest days & I use those as my last resort. I’m also now on a daily dose of Gabapentin for another set of health issues, but it aims to specially help with nerve pain. I’m still having my dosage adjusted with it to figure out what best works for my body, but it’s helped to have something daily to fall back on that takes the edge off.
Please let me know if you have any other questions. I was on the internet 24/7 when I was expecting my hysterectomy. It can be a very daunting process, but information & talking about it with others was really comforting to me. Best of luck! ❤️

@@kathrynpaige29 thank you so much for the fast response. Haha same girl lots and lots of research I have been doing for my lap hysterectomy been getting more and more nervous and now even starting to dream about it LOL. I have been on gabapentin and tramadol for 5 yrs after my accident which left me with a shattered my ankle now 10 screws and 1 plate and messed up my back also. Well now the pills are considered as a narcotic, well have been for a few years and it’s been a pain to get them every month since I got a new doctor. I actually just got them taken away from me since I didn’t go and pee in a cup to get a refill in time so my new doctor told me she can’t give me a refill now which I have never been told I had a certain amount of time to get down there even after taken them for 5 years with no issues so I’m trying to find something for relief I will try CBD for sure I appreciate you so much for your story.

Are u able to exercise and workout ? Too personal question to ask , but how will you manage to live without a life partner or companion in life ?

I had to wait 12 weeks after surgery before resuming exercise & physical activity. & I have no worries about “managing to live without a life partner” as I have an incredible support system within my family & am in a long term relationship with someone amazing! ❤️
