Justin, it's obvious you prepare well for your adventures, and yet you keep the energy up. You make me think of Huell Howser, but with your own style. I love your California adventures.
Thanks for these videos Justin! I'm from England and it's a dream of mine to drive down the mother road, but I fear by the time I can afford to take a trek down to the states more of it may have been lost due to the passing of time. So these videos give me a great insight to what I might not ever get to see, feel like I'm travelling along rigjt beside you.
The Route 66 Store in Williams is also super cool!!! You find the most wonderfully delightfully cool places wherever you go. Attaboy, Justin Scarred!!!
When you hit Tulsa head over to the old alignment on Admiral Blvd and stop at Hanks Hamburgers for a great burger, crispy tater tots and a smooth malt. The Admiral Twin Drive-In can be found here as well. Then head back to 11th street out of town and stop in at the JM Davis Arms and Historical Museum in Claremore, OK. There is also an original stretch of Route 66 in Foyil, OK. Have fun and enjoy. I am enjoying your journey. Thank you and keep up the great work.
That story about Angel forming the Route 66 Association n then, on top of that, contacted all the other states on Route 66 n hipped them to it making it a solidarity Association for travelers n tourists on Route 66 as well as the benefit of all the small towns on Route 66 yrs is totally amazing!!! I love 💕 that you discovered it for us!!!
Going there this winter. As you noted, we are also from another country. Canada is home for me. Love the route 66 history. The Arizona area in particular is interesting to us, as it is winter when we will be visiting. Keep up the great videos.
That Settlers Store in Ash Fork Arizona is superbly awesome. The records for sale n playing, the jam sessions, the antiques ( that radio n little flash cube camera were awesome) n they had great hats n I would love to go in there.!!! Thanks for taking us inside!!!
This vlog was awesome, I really loved the original old abandoned roads of route 66 that you found, i wish they could talk too. I am finding this adventure fascinating.
Hahah the card board cut out freaked me out! I thought he was posing for a picture for a second until I noticed it wasn't actually him! Honestly, their humor matches mine. I have high respect for punny humor! 4:19 !!! Warsaw! Warszawa! My polish blood bubbled happily at seeing that!! Those souvenir shops look amazing and so welcoming! I feel you on the allergies, bit. I've been taking one pill a day and nothing, nothing is helpinggg! Do you sound weird? Good golly I'd be going all over that place 4:46!!! Look at all that stuff!! 11:06 They hold Rock n Roll records?! This place just keeps getting better and better! Williams is stunning! No, EVERYTHING is stunning there! My love for antiques and old school stuff is just exciting! Hope you're resting well! We can wait, so long as you're feeling better! Can't wait for the next upload! Thanks again for sharing your adventures once more!
another day of adventure! Great tip on that old section of road. Maybe reddish from local sand mix for asphalt? Or just baked by the sun over time? Yoda must rest...
I love you so much I'm 11 and for my 11th birthday I watched you for my birthday and my mom bought the random land hat for me and I put the other pin you had and my mom posted a picture of me in front of the tv and you liked it and I freaked out and I've meet you at Disney land before I live your videos and go home and sleep well
Justin, try walking a couple hundred yards in either direction on 66 and you'll find all the trash people threw out of their cars since the beginning of the road construction.. Some of what you will find is not trash at all.
I love Williams Az! Ben there a few times for road trips to the Grand Canyon. Always have to stop for the train station and the Route 66 store of course!
So, I used to live in flagstaff, and one of the best parts of living there was that since it was such a "small" town we used to walk everywhere. On the first Friday of the month they would do a thing called first Friday art walk downtown, where businesses would stay open late and the college students could really appreciate their town. The monte vista hotel in downtown is worth checking out, and so is the sweet shop. Did you know that flagstaff has light laws, meaning everything from business lights to street lights have to be dim, to preserve the ambiance. This being said at night time you can see all the stars. The Lowell Observatory in flagstaff is where Pluto was discovered... ok that's it for my weird facts about flagstaff.
Oh, man!! I was in Williams and never knew about the cool stuff!! We took the train from LA specifically to visit the Grand Canyon. It was a package tour and we didn't have any car of course, so the only thing I saw was the hotel at the Williams end of the Grand Canyon Railroad. I wish we had more time there to explore; now I'll definitely have to take a road trip out there.
Next time you are in Williams, you need to check out Bearizona. It’s not old, but it’s a zoo where you can drive through the enclosures! My wife and I make the three hour trek to Williams at least once a year just to go there!
I missed you when you passed through ABQ earlier today!!! I was in my sociology class at the community college and when I got out of class I checked Snapchat and you had already passed through Old Town and were already headed up to Santa Fe 😔 Hopefully on your way back down to CA you stop here again and I can meet you and get a Fun Pic with you!!! Hope you're trip goes great the rest of the way to Chicago 😊😁🏜🛣🚘
Get well soon dood, It'd be a real shame if you had to abandon this epic journey 'caus of illness. You put so much effort into this, great photography and so much information, cheers, get some rest, Shleeep Well, and wishing you rapid recovery,,,,32" Route 66" mentions today!!!!!!
This road trip of yours is a dream I've had for years but as a struggling single mom, I may never be able to afford something like this. Thank you for bringing us with you!
I still cannot believe I ran into you in Williams. That was a nightlight of our vacation. Keep up the good work and safe travels.
Wow! Arizona is chock full of awesome route 66 gems!

I stayed in that hotel and the garages were still there and 1991 when I did Advanced promotions for Allen Brothers Circus!
Was in Wms in 2005 for 4 days. Loved it.

Great series, Justin. Thanks. Brings back many memories of my travels on old route 66.
Historical sites, good information, and bad puns. What more could I ask for? Thanks Justin.

My uncle loves Route 66 but maybe I shouldn't show him this episode because he'll go to that record store without a second thought.

This road trip of yours is a dream I've had for years but as a struggling single mom, I may never be able to afford something like this. Thank you for bringing us with you!
The Elvis car on the roof is actually a 1959 Chrysler 300, not a Caddy.
you should come visit flagstaff az
I see the history channel in your future.
Did you get some carrot cake from Lilos Westside Cafe?
It would have been nice if old route 66 could have been left open and maintained, a lot of these small businesses and towns would still be going.
Richie Valenz @ 14:22
That's a 'Christine" Plymouth - not a Caddy, Scarred!
always has good blobs
Even my parents like you; they say you're as good as Huell Howser!
According to history, they say Elvis *was* a bad driver...
yo bro how much do they charge for a motel room? average
That is a 1960 DeSoto
This is so awesome!!! I wish to go on a road trip through route 66 with my friends some day!! Good Luck; I love your videos!!!
Isn't it selig-man
get sleep, drink tea, and buy some airborne!

So you spent ten dollars for a dollar lollipop? Lol. Oh well, it went to a local business...
