Had the pleasure of meeting Angel twice on our Route 66 trips. Got there early in the morning before the tourists started showing up and my wife and I got to have some time with alone. What a delightful gentleman. He signed our hat and bell we bought at the shop. We treasure those items.
I've known Angel for 25 years even though I now live on the east coast and haven't been back in many years. He is such a humble person and always happy to see anyone. Good to see he is still rockin. His brother Juan was quite a character (cheeseburger with cheese?) The last time I was there was about a year after Juan passed. I miss these guys. Angel for President!
