some weeks ago during a type of live on the app stationhead someone asked ian what would mito's favorite song be, and he said that it will definitely be seraph because that is the *only* song that mito wrote entirely from start to finish after a switch. the way you noticed that is so interesting!! so yeah, that explains why you felt that way about the lyrics and his voice !

Yay so excited to see the notification for this and thank you for the shout out on my comment :) every song is so good and one of my favorite things about his music is there are so many layers and details. Like its been over a year since the album and i still hear new small details and the songs never ge old for me. Also since u mentioned waching his analysis interview of the album which i would love to see i dont know which interview ur referncing if its the two part one with JRE that one is mainly talking about miito movie not every song. There is one with zach sang which is overall a good interview again tho more of a general interview not spefically about the album. If im being honest his best explanations of his songs come from his ig live or stationhead listening party where he listens and talks about the whole album. Also I wanted to let u know for context that at the time this album came out he had not opened up about having DID and only really talks about bipolar. So in case your wondering why its never mentioned directly in his explanations that is why. He still talks about his switches but talks about them in reference to his bipolar. He opened up about DID only about a two months ago in his ig livestream where he explains a lot about mito and DID specifically. i think its still hard for him to be completely transparent about it as he said himself he was nervous to talk about it due to stigma of it, which i totally understand it cant be easy to open up about something like this. However when u watch his interview, knowing about his DID it will actually put a lot into context for u. Ahh sorry this is getting so long i just want to help u get the best dpr ian experience lol. I can't wait for more and thank youu❤

I love your long comments! The album analysis that I saw was the MITO making of documentary for 'Moodswings In This Order'. I haven't watched his other interviews yet, but I want to see the interview he did with JRE soon. I am aware that he recently started talking about his DID. I get the way he has to maneuver around conversations about it because there is still an unfortunate negative connotation around it. I'm hoping he'll say more when he's ready, though. I've been trying to catch up on his lives, and his broadcast channel on Instagram is amazing since there's so many updates. I'll be reacting to more things from him soon!🤗

@actuallyletstalkaboutit ahh that makes sense maybe my brain malfunctioned when u were talking about the documentary haha. But glad u seem super updated about all of his lives!! I wasn't sure how much you've seen or are aware about. And yes, proud of him for how much he has already opened up, not Many artists are as transparent as he is about his mental health so it makes me root for him even more. He is supposedly releasing something for Halloween so there might be a release to look out for soon😊
