That money isn't everything. That previous company I cut ties with was actually quite lucrative for us. With that said, as soon as they started giving a couple of viewers the runaround I told them to kick rocks. I don't care about the money or affiliate sales over our viewers who support us.

Nugget ice is great. We've had ours (different brand than the one in this video) since Apr 2017. The real key to success for long life with these ice makers regardless of brand is to CLEAN THEM REGULARLY. Seriously, it is critical. Ours sits on the counter 24x7 making ice on-demand, and we don't have our ice maker in the freezer even turned on anymore - it was just getting old. Good to know about this brand and model, and looking forward to hearing how long it lasts for folks who give it a go.

I see they now have a 2.0 version available; though I'm not sure what the differences are between that and the 1.0 version. Hope this helps.

I love nugget ice. Jacks has the nugget ice. My ice maker in the refrigerator quit working so I buy ice from Jacks and put it in my ice container and get my ice through the door. I found out that if you let it sit in the freezer for about 30 minutes and then get something that you can hit the ice and it separates like you just bought it.

I love watching your channel. I've installed the front and rear cameras on my 4052r, they work great. I am also going to be spending more money on a nugget ice maker now, as me and my family love to chew ice lol!
We bought the RW Flame nugget one when you reviewed it with your discount and had issues straight away. It would work great about an hour then just stop producing ice like it was froze up so we’d turn it off and let it all melt and turn back on then it would work great again another hour or so. Contacted RW Flame with no results. Called the number that came with unit and lady gave me email to send all my info she wanted And nothing. Did that twice. So we definitely won’t be buying anything from them again either. Was nice spending less money but if it doesn’t work right and company has terrible customer service it’s not worth the savings. I have several friends that have the GE profile Opal 2.0 for years now with no issues. They have theirs on 24/7 too. They are double the price but hey they work lol. At least I still can use ours if I’m home and can babysit it. I’m super happy to hear you aren’t promoting RW Flame though. A lot of creators could care less if the companies customer service sucks. Me and my husband watch all your videos and we don’t live that way apart so when you’re talking about preparing for certain weather conditions we’re doing the same in northwest Florida lol. Love the channel and so happy you’ve got 100k subscribers now. Next 1 million :)

most of these countertop style ice makers end up breaking or something going wrong with them after a short amount of time. Is this another one of those that will eventually develop the same common problems (from several comments in general ppl complain of loud noises from the ice maker, leaks, etc..)??

Hey long time viewer. Bought this ice maker back in mid Sept and it has worked great until recently. Over the last week or so it has started stopping saying it is full when it is no where near full (maybe 25%full). Any thoughts or recommendations?
I bought one when you first made video. Use non florinated water from water cooler and never shut it off. It got to making like wet ice. Have you had that happen ?
I bought the previous nugget ice maker you featured and had a terrible experience, also. The company ran me around for two months before PayPal forced them to refund the full price. I made the mistake of buying directly from the company rather than paying an extra $50 and ordering thru Amazon.
Those are always per day numbers in perfect conditions. You will have to dump the basket every couple of hours or it fills up and cuts off. It's just the nature of a table top machine. We usually put up several gallon bags of ice in a day when I am running it while working around the house.
Love nugget ice. We've had 2 New Air makers, the 1st stopped working inside a year and they sent us a new one. I bought the warranty on the 2nd one and it broke just outside the manufacturer warranty so they sent me $$$ to reimburse me. I am not buying another New Air. Lots of features for a really good price. May have to try this. But I gotta say, what chilled me in this video wasn't the ice. I have an icemaker and bag and put up my extra ice, stored in freezer bags just like you. But I would never ever break up those bags by throwing them on the floor. The floor is going to be dirty, no way around it. And the bags do tear or get contaminated in filth and there's no way I want that on bags of ice I will be eating. So I keep a dead blow hammer in my freezer. Wooden handle, rubber head. Cheap at Harbor Freight. Never leaves my freezer. Never used for hitting anything except bags of ice, and washable if it ever gets dirty. That hammer is the only thing that I use for breaking up bags of ice. There's also no risk of hard bags of ice bashing the floor. My mom used to bang bags of ice against the fridge door and it made the door look like five miles of bad road. Using a dedicated freezer hammer saves all that damage.

We have the GE model and the biggest issue we had with that one was when it’s hot in the kitchen say it’s 90 degrees in the kitchen it will not make any ice at all, I have tried to work with the company but they used that as an excuse. The reason it’s hot in the kitchen is no AC in the house, works really good in the winter 😂 but summer time don’t work so good. Will this one work when the temp is to high in the room it’s at?

No no, I am working with Vevor. They don't offer a nugget ice machine. It was another company in the past that I had to cut ties with because they didn't treat a viewer fairly on warranty and I didn't agree with it one bit.

We had a GE Opal that completely failed 5 days after warranty, they didnt want to make an exception (fair since it technically was past date) so we are giving the Feeezimer a go!
So here’s my update after 2 weeks. Lately it’s been saying “ice full” and when we check it, it’s barely got any ice in it. Almost at my wits end with ice makers
If you crave chewing on ice, it may be a precursor to diabetes. I was eating ice all the time, then one day at a scheduled physical, they checked my sugar.......yep, diabetes (type 2).
Drinking ANY water a lot during the day is hint of diabetes .. I don’t like drinking water but like chewing ice to aid in losing weight (chewing ice better than chewing potato chips … 💐💐💐💐💐)

@@HeartLess-uz5vs We own the GE Opal ver 1 and like it. We only use filtered water from our Zero Water counter top filter. This baby will never get hard. Water deposits. You still have to clean them with bleach because they will develop bacteria when you have kids that reach their hands in to get ice. If you buy a used one, make sure that it is working, doesn’t have signs of hard, water deposits, and doesn’t make any weird noises.

There is a water plug on the bottomside that can be pulled to drain it. I use to be able to get filters from Amazon.

You can keep it running, but it's going to use more electricity and reduce the life of the unit. We only use it when needed.

Your jumping to conclusions and assuming things, this will absolutely work without your house having AC. It's got its own compressor.

No no, I am working with Vevor. They don't offer a nugget ice machine. It was another company in the past that I had to cut ties with because they didn't treat a viewer fairly on warranty and I didn't agree with it one bit.

We had a GE Opal that completely failed 5 days after warranty, they didnt want to make an exception (fair since it technically was past date) so we are giving the Feeezimer a go!
Please let me know your experience with it, I like to know who I'm recommending. Ours is working great.
So here’s my update after 2 weeks. Lately it’s been saying “ice full” and when we check it, it’s barely got any ice in it. Almost at my wits end with ice makers
Did you get it from Amazon? They'll cover it, if not I have a direct email to the companies customer service department.
Update #2 the second one is now defective. Sounds like those ghost Halloween decorations from the 90s

If you crave chewing on ice, it may be a precursor to diabetes. I was eating ice all the time, then one day at a scheduled physical, they checked my sugar.......yep, diabetes (type 2).
I personally don't care for chewing it, but I ha e heard this before.
Drinking ANY water a lot during the day is hint of diabetes .. I don’t like drinking water but like chewing ice to aid in losing weight (chewing ice better than chewing potato chips … 💐💐💐💐💐)

@@HeartLess-uz5vs We own the GE Opal ver 1 and like it. We only use filtered water from our Zero Water counter top filter. This baby will never get hard. Water deposits. You still have to clean them with bleach because they will develop bacteria when you have kids that reach their hands in to get ice. If you buy a used one, make sure that it is working, doesn’t have signs of hard, water deposits, and doesn’t make any weird noises.

@@TKCL yes sir i know! i went back to the first ice nugget video to see what company you kick ties with and box after box of amazon on it lol! i ordered a new ice maker off there last week and got it yesterday cause my first one was slowly dieing! i ran it non stop for 2 years!
