Back in 2014, I remember smelling Gentlemen Only and Aventus side by side. It was the first time I smelled both and actually preferred the Givenchy. L'eau d'Issey Sport one of my earlier loves too. Wasn't a fan at first, but that spicy grapefruit vetiver kick really grew on me. Not many 'sport' freshies with nutmeg, leather and vetiver in the notes.
Gentleman Only is my 4th biggest complimented frag behind the original Chrome, Aventus (of course), and Prada Carbon. Looking at that list you can see how criminally underrated it is. Super popular compliment getters and GGO has always just been lost in the mix. One of my personal faves. In fact, I'm on my 6th bottle of Chrome, 4th of G Only, and 2nd of Carbon and Aventus. That's my love.
In the two or three times that I've worn Gentlemen Only, I have yet to receive a complement. With that being said, however, I LOVE this scent. I feel like it is the perfect office scent and totally agree that it is classy, yet contemporary. It's fresh, invigorating, and IMO one of the more underrated scents out there.
Idk how Jeremy fragrance has over a million subscribers. Dudes straight annoying and most the fragrances are unattainable financially speaking by the general public. I also don't share the same tastes in fragrances with him. I look forward to watching every Gent Scents video. Your down to earth, informative, and un bias. Keep the videos coming bro!!!!!

And if we're being real, it's obvious why he has 1M subs. He's got looks, charisma, big industry connections, and a big bank account. He's basically a marketing powerhouse for frags. This is actually why I stopped watching his videos, however. I no longer find him genuine, which is unfortunate. There's a night and day difference between his old videos and his new ones. It's clear he's no longer one of us.

Black XS is one of my favorites of all time. I love sweet/fruity scents. This has a thick strawberry note. I will always keep a vintage bottle of this.
I've grown to like it so much, its now my spring/early summer signature scent. I also wear the EDT to sleep. Puff a few sprays of that bad boy, then go to bed in my upside down coffin.
Issey Sport! Such a great & severely underrated fragrance! Beautiful citrus with a woody background. To me, it's the lack of lotus that makes it better.

Wow Ash, what a large bottle of that Issey Miyaki. I really dig Encre Noire Sport. You're spot on. Much more wearable than the other 2 in the line. My wife usually doesn't like vetiver scents, in which I have a love for, but she likes this one.

Issey Miyake Sport was a random pickup for me after getting the OG pour home 🏡. Tested it out and was definitely more appealing as you said and more sporty vibe. Nostalgic of a basketball coach or gym teacher type scent at some times LOL but that’s just probably from childhood aexperience. A little easier to wear than the OG I must say
I’ve been singing the praises of Black XS for years. The original formulation is fantastic, the reformulation (with the new chunky bottle)... not so much. The original bottles are now going for over $150 here in Australia.
I really like Gentlemen Only edt. I think that I like it even more than the entire Gentleman line. I just ordered a backup bottle. Since it seems they are moving away from Iris.
Thanks ash.. I am about 10 years late to the frag world. Really don't enjoy ambroxin bombs.. Which the GOnly line is not. And it does lay under the radar with projections. It will almost disappear and then reappear smelling and projecting. One of my new house discoveries. My first was John Varvatos. Of course both houses have threats to be cut.

Issey miyake sport is very underrated. I was just going through my cheaper fragrances the other day and sorting them out by occasion and I got to this one and I was thinking yea obvious gym and everyday casual wear but it can also work for the office and a nice lunch date on a warmer day

I got a sample and gentlemen only was a throw in and I was literally smelling it everyday. When it was empty, I kept it just so I could get a wiff. Only down side (according to comments/reviews) it doesn't last long :/
I recently received my sample of Encre Noir Sport and really fail to see much of a difference between this and the original Encre Noir. Not a bad thing, I just don't get the "fresh" descriptor in the Sport and feel that they are more similar than different.
I never wear a fragrance to get compliments (although it is nice when you do) but i wear it to match my mood and what i will enjoy that day. D&G Forever today 🙂
you gotta wear a perfume for those specific events and only wear it for those events and memories. Then that perfume will evoke those events and memories
Encre Noir Sport in summer is fantastic aquatic fresh earthy inky really shines in high heat
I love the smell but performance is terrible, at least in my case. After 40-60 minutes it becomes skin scent.
@@wiktorman Spray it on your clothes as well so its lasts longer and it does radiate in the heat and humidity by wafting off your skin.

Givenchy gentleman cologne should be on this list too. Its such a nice scent the iris is fantastic in it. And you'll smell different to everyone else.

Completely agree, it’s sad that Givenchy hasn’t continued the Gentlemen Only line. My favorite is Gentlemen Only Casual Chic.

I like it too, and the sport version is nowhere near as challenging as the original. I wouldn’t say it’s a huge compliment getter though.
